I rarely leave bad reviews, but this experience absolutely deserves one. On January 23, 2026, I was stopped in Walmart by a third-party Spectrum rep who convinced me to switch from Verizon Home Internet and port over four mobile lines, promising major savings. He even warned me not to listen to the Spectrum store reps. I didn't listen--and that was a mistake. After waiting three hours at the Spectrum store, the in-store rep told me the third-party rep "screwed everything up" and said he would fix it. I entered around 3 PM and was the last person to leave at closing. I went home with equipment that didn't work. The next day, nothing worked. I returned to the store and waited another 3.5 hours, only to be told I was still tied to Verizon Home Internet. After more failed attempts at home, I learned the "new" equipment I was given was assigned to another customer's account. As of February 9th, this was STILL not fully resolved. It took three tech visits to finally get internet and cable working. One tech spent over three hours at my home and was openly frustrated with Spectrum's own support. The mobile service has been just as bad. Only yesterday did my two iPhone lines finally work properly. Today, I was told the buyout promotion would only be $222 due to a "technicality" on a Verizon bill. They claimed one line only had three payments, ignoring the fact that the LINE is four years old and the phone was a replacement. The employees tried, but Spectrum's systems are broken. I would ding the company 1 stars for spotty WiFi services, and always using bait and switch promotion offers to entice clients. As someone who have been there client for 3 years, it's honestly disappointing how they treat their long term clients versus their new clients. Us long-term clients get the short end of the stick. But we already know how the spectrum company treat their customers, but this review is toward this particular spectrum location. Tell me why it took 50 minutes to receive service as a pick-up walk-in client. I had switched my spectrum earlier to have a higher GB, and therefore they offer a free modem that can handle a higher GB. I had requested a pick-up thinking it would be a quick 10 minute wait, but 50 minutes is outrageous. They have all their clients service the same regardless if you are here to pick up vs signing/updating your service. This has to be the most infuriating thing because I legit was only here to pick up, and did not need to speak to a customer service rep. I had seen other customers trying to sign up and that could take 20 minutes each, so imagine how frustrating it was. The staff works slow cause it took him 10 minutes to get the equipment and assign it to me! It would have been better for them to ship it to me; I should have taken that offer when the spectrum rep on the phone told me they could do that. Why I decided to pick up is beyond me now after waiting 50 minutes and 10 more minutes for the staff to let me pick up the item. Took me 10 minutes to write this review while he checked me out. I was so over it. Update: The staff forgot to give me a yellow cord (ethernet) to connect the modem and router. Had to call Spectrum to send me one instead. Worst Internet/mobile phone service ever!! I am just super upset with myself that I locked myself into a contract by purchasing a phone on a plan , because they will offer the iPhones for a few hundred dollars less but no, it's a trap! The billing is terrible and confusing for someone who is not familiar, it's so generic. You will not understand because they don't break down your payment plan information , at least not with paperless billing. (I just ordered all my bills. Let's see if that shows a breakdown.) Why can't I tell from my bill wig at payment number I'm on and what the balance is left on my phone(s)? Why do I have to contact you to find this out? And Anytime you need something you have to repeatedly call Spectrum over and over and over and over again, as if we as a society, have time in our lives to call any business and play phone tag with the inadequate automated systems for a simple request. It's probably a ploy to stop customers from actually calling. I don't understand why they would take the undertaking of mobile when they barely have cable and Internet down. After three calls, I finally learned they do not offer lifeline services on a mobile services, but all of the other providers do. Like become an expert in one field before you jump into another. This particular site is super slow. At least the site off 10th St. seems to move a lot faster.! But if you're asking my advice, I say if you see the Spectrum door-to-door sales person don't answer !! Horribly trained staff! Down right dumb people. 5 agents, 2 in store agents, 5 hours on phone, driving, and in store, to fix a stupidly simple issue. I moved within my high rise, simple, change my service from 404 to 1404! Could not complete the move without many issues. No sympathy, no genuine apology, and no common sense! None. Im a disabled veteran that has most things on auto pay due to my memory. I realized I was paying $140 for basic internet for years. I decided to cancel and was assured I would not get a charge again. I got charged again today. I explained this to customer service. The offer no help, this was their explanation. Actually, since we do not prorate and we charge for the full month of service, even if it had been for 1 day we would charge the full month of service. Spectrum cable is great as long as you never have to cancel their service. The customer service is uninformed and recite what I believe to be scrips. If your question is out of their perview then its buyer beware. Ultimately, it's the customers problem for not understanding and they take your money regardless. January 2025 I called spectrum and they said they could give me a deal with I termet ,TV andobile with all three for $92,31 a month. So I switched from dish and Verizon to spectrum. I got bill in February for $192.31 i called again and was told what I was told was an error and all three would now be ,$162.31 a month. I got bill this month and now I got bill for $162.31 for tv and internet and another bill for $62.30 for the phone. I called again and was told previous bills were errors. I would give Spectrum -1 stars if I could. I moved locations so I returned the equipment and got new Xumo boxes instead. That was in November. Here is it January and I am still getting charged for the returned equipment. I spoke with at least 4 representatives and 2 Supervisors and they still cannot fix the problem. I constantly get automated calls from them stating they are going to shut my services off if I dont pay for the equipment. Spectrum sucks...I would not recommend them to anyone. Worst internet service provider for gaming. The mbps speeds are decently consistent not bad by any means (8-900mbps) but that what we pay for, the ping fluctuations spectrum has drives me insane i play my game on NA-west servers, the server is located in los angeles literally less than 50mi. Away yet you would be lucky to get the 0-10 ping you should be getting at that distance from the server. Instead itll typically average 35-50 maybe even 80 sometimes which is what you would get if you played on east coast or even EU servers all the way from the west coast(2,000+miles away from those servers(35-50 is horrible ping considering the server i play on isnt even 100mi. Away.) Guys if your going to charge as much as fiber for your dog**** internet the least you could do is expand the nodes and give us a quality connection (fast connections are not always quality your internet is a great example of this) read more

Today they sent out a tech to my house and when I got home from work this is how he left all of my super expensive computer outlets/speaker wires completely hanging... he didn't even connect my outlets properly just enough so he could make the modem work.
