    Network reliability is poor. If you have trouble with Xumo and/or streaming TV apps, the issue is…read moreusually related to their internet. You will never get a live body, just STUPID bots. It says (hilariously I might add) "Let me take a look at your equipment!" (Beg pardon!?) It then pings a signal to said equipment and tells you to give it 5 minutes. It often takes several tries. Not to mention the irritating nuisance of certain apps, like Disney/Hulu never connecting until they've verified who you are. They ask your user name, email addy, phone number, it asks you to verify the name of the subscriber, and enter your password. It always says your password is incorrect. Disney is policing that app to make sure no one is beating them out of a nickel, but we can't question why a trip to their parks costs $10K per family for 4 days. But that's a topic for another day. Spectrum's Xumo streaming device is C H E A P. Drop the remote on a hardwood floor and you'll be picking-up 100 cheap pieces of plastic to reassemble it. It can be done, I've done it. But I've reinforced mine with tape. Spectrum needs to Improve on every level. I hate to have to ditch them and go to another provider (or non provider and just join the apps on my own...via Roku or ? It's such an ordeal, it's exhausting. Tonight we watched 3/4's of a movie and it just FROZE. Never to resume. This service costs too much not to work. BTW, I sadly have them my internet and mobile business, along with a cable box for my 88 year old mother in law (who can't comprehend apps). I have a high tier internet set/up. So what gives?

I am livid they charged me for services I did not receive.

My mom has had T-Mobile as her service provider for several years now (around 5 years and before that she didn't have a cellphone) but she has been wanting to get a smartphone recently but did not want to sign another contract and pay a lot of money for certain options. I told her that she should go with their prepaid plan so she doesn't pay a fortune for certain things like texting and exceeding on her monthly minutes. When she finally decided on it, I had purchased a prepaid phone for her to use. I wanted to get everything set up for her before she flies back home so we went over to this T-Mobile store this afternoon to try to take care of things. The associate who helped us, Corey, was very nice. I explained to him what I needed done and he took care of it all: the porting of the number, transferring all the contacts, etc. He even made sure that the phone was working properly before we left! I was really impressed especially because I had ported my number some time last year as well and it took 2-3 weeks, got billed twice, had to spend hours of angry phone calls with the store (Edwarsville store) I went to and with their costumer service reps before everything was resolved. That was a painless experience and I am so happy with the experience overall. The associates were very friendly, one even offered us chairs to sit on and some water but we were fine and refused politely. The only excruciatingly painful part now is making sure my mom remembers everything I taught her about using her new smartphone.
