The staff are smart and willing to help and led by a strong leader - Chelsea. The company needs to provide additional resources to all the staff to get through a line of 20 customers. They need additional staff and even a new store closer to Merritt Island. The area that this store handles is just too big. There should be one person working on just equipment exchanges. One or two people working on activating phones and transferring data - takes approximately 1 hour per. They can be located in the back of house like Apple does it. If you're closing your account and only want to return your equipment take it to UPS and it will get returned for free and they will provide you with a receipt. I only hear bad news about the XUMO. Decide for yourself. Don't show up at 7:00 to buy and activate a new phone. The store closes at 8:00 and staff would like to go home :). Great store! read more

After cancelling my service, I waited nearly an hour to drop off my equipment here. They lost it and now I have to prove it. Every time I call the help number I am on hold for a long time only to learn they can't help me. There is no way to call this place directly. Apparently the customer solution via phone call said , It was my mistake of not selecting or pressing the button to confirm I was making a trade in (I am a senior citizen) and because of it I am not allowed to get the promotion for the trade in. Spectrum steals money from seniors... 82 year old mother who pays monthly internet bill to spectrum religiously, recently hit the spectrum icon on her smart tv and was automatically bank drafted an extra $100 for activating cable service... overdrawing her bank account. Spectrum customer service states they sent an email to welcome the new member to cable from that click into their icon, and offered help if responding quickly if an error, but there was no response to their email... so another elderly person is basically scammed and charged $100 for a click of an icon and failing to respond to an email among all the countless phishing and scam emails in her mailbox daily... As a recent widow I had to greatly reduce my services with spectrum. I have had an account since 1976 with this company which has undergone many different names. Time Warner, Cablevision, Etc. Despite changing service I was charged for the old rate which was $339 for less than a week of services, I reduced my services to $162 monthly and no credit being given for the 3 weeks left in the month. At no time did ant representative advise me of this. The first representative Joshua completely messed up my services which required me to make an appt and seek assistance from a store representative, who fixed the errors. At this point I feel that Spectrum has essentially stolen from me. I am very disgusted at this billing practice of paying for services you do not receive. read more

Orlando was very helpful and patient with switching our cell phones to spectrum. The Babcock location is always busy so get an appointment and check in. Even though you wait when they get to you they never rush you so you don't forget anything important. The employees know their stuff, I have always gotten great help from thid location. read more

Had my bill raised from 54 dollars to 95 dollars. When I call customer service they said I had a 600 Mbps plan which no longer exist and that what they could do for a 500 Mbps plan was to pay 85 dollars instead, as I am trying to look or the proof that I had been paying 54 dollars or the 500 Mbps plan I said yes ( uju uju). I call again a representative to provide the evidence for what I had been paying for the plan that I have always had, practically they denied to offer a decrease less than 85. I am stuck with the company as ATT doesn't provide service to my apartment complex. And sadly the internet service for the price being paid is not at the level. read more

You can sign up for fubotv 7 day free trail and then pay 57.00 for 2 months which increases to 74.00. What a way to pass the cost onto the customer, so pay my spectrum bill and fubotv, who I am sure Spectrum is getting a cut from to get a service that I signed up with them. Last Payment Ever! After the first year, our bill went up and so I tried to switch things around to lower the bill, but nobody could help me... UNTIL I went with another company and canceled my Spectrum account... THEN & ONLY THEN, would they lower my bill and help me out... Loyal customer and treated like crap... Never again!! I was told that my bill would be $49.99 (phone (free) and internet) for a year, and thereafter I would be called, if there was an increase. NO call received and my bill went up to $71.99 internet and phone $29.99. On October 21st spent over a hour trying to cancel the phone service. Thus was nit fine....Called in to make a complaint today which was a total waste of time. spoke with a Rep. who transferred me to Bruce (Lead with the escalation team). Spectrum Viera, Fl, I had an 1120am appointment, walked in at 1119am. At 1120am Nicholas Welms walked up to me and said; "Welcome how can I help you". I just purchased a phone S23 Samsung and needed a sim card. Nicholas installed the sim card into my new phone and got it up and running. Paid my final bill after & now I'm being pursued by a collection agency because somebody didn't do their job & terminate my service! I never logged in after I paid my final bill! Walked in with my new activation SIM cards and devices. 7:30pm. one other person in the store and 2 consultants. Conor didn't look up or greet me and pushed me out of the way to pack the display devices to close. I ASKED for help and went to front with Conor. he said we would have to call the online specialists for assistance. BUT they wouldn't answer because they were closing in 20 minutes. I called and the wait for a representative was 20 minutes. Conor never looked at me or spoke to me again. Worst service ever. BTW my devices still aren't activated. I'm a new customer with spectrum, and only having Internet service for 3 days, the Internet was interrupted, why? I don't know. Well, I was thinking maybe due to the recent storms. However, I called to complain about me not having services for 2 days and I spoke with the supervisor by the name of Crystal, she informed me, that no one can come out and reconnect the internet and that I will have to wait an additional 4 more days because a technician will not be available until then. Crystal, kept insisting that she will credit my account for the 6 days of me not having the Internet. I told Crystal, "that the credit was irrelevant and ridiculous". She didn't care, nor was she too concerned about the 6 days. I'm not getting free internet service, I should be treated with respect, I felt like I was inconveniencing her. I will be calling AT&T tomorrow 9/13/2022 to get new service with them. No matter what the cost maybe. I'll pay extra for quality and good customer service any day. After 20 years as Spectrum (BrightHouse) customer I went to complete streaming service. On Saturday my internet service stopped @ 9:00am. Called Spectrum, they could send a technician after 3:00pm. Technician showed up @ 4:15pm, internet service repaired @ 5:00pm. In the mean-time used hot spot cellular data. Totally used all 5 gigs. Called spectrum to reset hot spot data since it was spectrum equipment failure that caused loss of internet service and i was required to use hot spot cellular data. Was told they CANNOT reset the hot spot data. (Which makes no sense to me) because Spectrum mobile and Spectrum tv, internet are TWO different companies! What horse manure! So with all the insanity in the world daily as of late? When my cable box lost most of its channels, I hesitated to call Spectrum to request assistance, as with so many real problems? My box seemed inconsequential in, however quarantine time loomed ahead , so I justified as what else to do? Treating myself to a little channel surfing seemed justified, & told it would be more efficient in time & remedy to go to the brick & mortar location at the Avenue's & change it out, even providing an online appointment should I be concerned as to social distance if perhaps busy at the time entered. I did think about using the convenient appointment feature? But felt selfish in preventing someone who perhaps really needed a time placement, I decided to take a chance and just go in today, being Sunday I hoped for the best. May I say I was unprepared for the sparsely occupied existence encountered on my way from Merritt Island to the Avenues in Viera, usually bustling with impatient traffic, & once in the Avenues Town Shops on a Sunday? Circling more than once in search of parking is no surprise with all the restaurants, retail, movie theaters and general enjoyment of the afternoon enjoyed by so many. Today however there was a unquestionable change as the severity in quite, and the parking ease was almost unsettling. Parked directly across from the Spectrum store front, and noticed one couple sitting on a bench quietly engaged in conversation that lacked the usual relaxing feel as I walked past, and opened the door, entering into the cool air of Spectrum in the Avenues... Large by the old Brighthouse memory from Cape Canaveral years past, display areas of their new offering, in addition to the services of digital technology in television, & internet, now availability to provide all technology needs with a single provider, as telecommunications (cellular service) is noted by the many displays of various phone options, and other technology related informational needs, very nicely presented in content, not TOO much, but enough, although it seemed largess today as only myself seemed to be in need of assistance. I could go on and on with my experience today, but mine will be the exception, not the rule in days to come returning to the waiting for process, but I was provided an attentive staff of two, amazingly positive, knowledgeable and in my thoughts? Pretty friggin brave, as the risks of working in an open venue are high, possibly too risky. So the remarkable professional two that provided absolutely the best experience I personally have ever encountered (BEFORE all this social distances became regulated) & I am quite sure the positive professional service provided is their normal, irregardless of one customer or ten (I provide 10 as to date the top figure given in occupancy regulations today) their competent proficiency would flow just as smoothly, remarkable, something I must mention again here is the fact they were THERE... The phenomenal significance of dedication, brand representation and professionalism is beyond commendable, & I sincerely hope recognized by the hierarchy within Spectrum/Charter, as without those dedicated two? Well, pretty sure the possibility of my box exchange would have been far less, as told when called Spectrums support line? Appointments in house were behind, as having a difficult time finding home service technicians willing to risk entering private spaces, understandable, but nevertheless not as expeditious & efficient as my experience today, because two came to WORK... And my words should NOT be enough, no, not today, as of today? We have no idea of when, or if life will find a way to return old experiences, in all areas. So Spectrum? Thank your staff, especially at your Avenues location, a finer first representation you could not find, and show your appreciation with what everyone needs more than a good word right now, as I can only praise in print? So if you get a message to replace your modem be prepared for an extended outage and if the replacement doesn't work your screwed until they can get a tech out because they make you bring in your other modem when you come to pick the new one up.
