I was locked out of the country due to CDC regulations because of the pandemic. Spectrum placed an unauthorized TV bundle on my bill since June 21,2021 for $24.99. I contacted spectrum and spoke to Andrea at 1:10 p.m. on 1-27-23 for reimbursement and was told I cannot have a credit for only 60 days. I then was transferred to her supervisor Tammy and she only issued credit for 60 days and was enable to provide proof that I signed up for this service. I never authorized this service and I am the only authorized user on the account. I am seeking a full refund. They refused and I filed a FCC, PSC, and BBB complaint. I have never had a more ignorant and selfish ISP provider treat me the way this conglomerate has done. They should be banned for their practices and protocols for lying to customers, sending contractors as salesmens to fix cables that are fine, rushing through calls, hanging up on customers, constantly resetting settings they have no right to go in on someone's computers for personal and business reasons and for leaving all decency of professionalism when sending field agents into people's homes. I would give 0 stars if I could. Customer service is nonexistent. I called to cancel my service on 9/26. I had to tell them multiple times that I wanted to cancel all service before they would do it. I asked them to cancel on 9/30. They neglected to tell me that they would charge me an additional $167 if I did not cancel immediately. I have called customer service and gone into one of their stores. No one will adjust the bill. They are charging me for a full month of service when they only provided 3 days. My husband & I have had nothing but problems with our internet service about every 6 months or so & last night we called because it happened again. We unplugged & restarted like they always tell you to do but of course it never works until you call them because the problem is on their end but they Never admit that! But this Rude woman was so condescending to my husband when he told her that he wanted an earlier date for someone to come out because our alarm system is hooked up to the Wi-Fi & she said "well you can just go pick up the equipment & install it" I told her No that doesn't work either cause we end up calling you anyway, like last time, like my husband just told you!!! Then I cursed at her cause she was making me mad & she has the nerve to say well I have to hang up due to language? Excellent company to do business with. It's such a pleasure to have a company work with me when I had some hard times financially. They even adjusted my bill so I could have a new due date. They always credit you when things go wrong on their end. Customer service goes above and beyond!!!!! Business department is A1 as well. Called Spectrum cust. service on 9/13/2020 to make changes to my cable services. My cable bill was high & so I was looking to cutting down my bill by making some changes. After changes were made I wanted to pay my bill that was due with the lesser charges. The agent informed me that it would be best to pay the full amount now (which was the higher charges) to be sure that I didn't under pay my current bill & needed to pay more on the next billing cycle. He said due to the system didn't upload the changes fast enough to give him my new charges at that time. I agreed & paid the my higher amount & would wait till next billing cycle to receive a credit for the changes on my service. Oct 2020 received my bill & no credits were applied. Called cust. service to find out why. Per the agent I spoke to, Spectrum is a month to month billing comp. & they do not prorate or give out credits for any changes made to your service in the middle of a billing cycle. After complaining with the agent that it is not right what they are doing by their comp. & having to listening to the agent repeat herself about their comp. policy, I asked to be transferred to a manager whom would be of further assistances to me. I got another person whom would also repeat himself of their comp. policy & was not being of customer service to me as well. He also mentioned that this policy is printed on their statements. Well to inform all of you readers out their as well as SPECTRUM it is not printed on your statements!!! What is printed on it is a website/link. Customers would need to look up information on their website for all of their policy do's & don'ts. What I do not understand is why can't a major company such as SPECTRUM credit or refund customers who paid for services they did not receive!! What do you do with all of your customers money that you seem to STEAL from them by not crediting or refunding them back what they are owed!!! How hard could it be to issue a credit into someone's acct. It's like purchasing a product, returning it and not being refunded. That's STEALING from ALL of your CUSTOMERS!!! Is that how your comp. makes money!!! During the COVID-19 times people are doing their best to cut back expenses, and cable expenses are just one of them. However your comp. is doing the opposite and are not cooperating and helping with matters!! I even asked for a compromise by giving me the service I paid for the following month and then removing it (giving the fact I have already paid for the service that I did not receive) and the manager said NO. Then started repeating himself of the comp. policy and how they do not issue credits with changes made in the middle of a billing cycle. After all that he then said all I can do is offer you a $10 credit towards your acct. I said what???? That's it?? Why not credit me what is owed to me. And wait a minute I thought your comp. couldn't do credits!!!! And all of a sudden he offered me $10!!! He said that's the best I can do for you. And once again repeated himself about their comp. policy. BULLSHIT!!!! This comp. has NO CONSISTANCY, NO CUSTOMER SERVICE, NO COMPANSION, and they DON'T GIVE A SHIT ABOUT THEIR CUSTOMERS!!! All they want is your business, your money, but when it comes time to issue you a credit or refund they treat you like a door mat and don't care whether you stay on with them as a customer or leave to do business with their competitors. Spectrum you have this attitude because you may have a lot of clients now, but with this type of business you will lose them one by one and then you will change your policies to get them back!!!!
