Brought my car in in December for an estimate after an accident after being referred here by my insurance. They agreed to fix the damage and work the insurance. Repairs would take several weeks, so I rearranged my entire work and school schedule to go without a car for that timeframe and set it all up for an appt in Feb. I go to drop off the car for repairs and now get told that they won't do the repairs because there's a scratch on the left corner panel (which has always been there) and they're worried about giving a lifetime warranty and blending paint. Why didn't they say this in December! Now I have to start the process all over. Their word (and written estimate) are no good! Don't waste your time. read more

Another company that has fallen victim of their success. The business is excellent! Reliable, responsible, very good at what they do! But, it used to be that you could stop by, talk to the guys, ask them questions etc. Heck, once I drove from Mission Valley holding on to my driver side door because it would not close! Stopped by this shop and one of the "guys" fixed it with a screw driver! That's what I'm talking about. Friendly, nice, relaxed. Now you can't get past the rude receptionist who very arrogantly tells you that they're scheduling estimates a week out! I used to get one of the guys to come out, take a look and give me a ball park. Now they're too successful to be bother with courtesy! What a shame.... read more

Dishonest Unprofessional Disreputable NEVER EVER TAKE YOUR CAR HERE This place was a rip off from the second they laid eyes on my car. Aside from the fact that they acted like they didn't want my business to start with, to the fact that they planned on robbing my insurance company from the get go, this place should be shut down. Insurance sent me here, the guy told me to go somewhere else while he looked at the car for the initial inspection. Then since insurance picked them, I was informed that "there may be more damage than originally thought". And of course there was. So 2 more weeks while they "ordered" parts, more like had them smuggled in through a tunnel, they finally call to tell me my radio didn't work. It worked when it got there, they refused to accept the fact that they broke it,and after harsh words and calls to the insurance company, they finally put a fuse in. A fuse they blew. As the world knows you break it you buy it ( in this case fix it) and all they wanted to do was try to bill my insurance more money. CORRUPT BUSINESS PRACTICES!!!!! read more

Picked up my 2018 Toyota Camry XLE after being fixed due to auto accident. My windshield was not replaced and was told for me to deal with insurance and take care of it myself. Took it to Toyota dealership right after I pick up for oil change and inspection. My car had a visible shock leak, per dealership they suggested not to drive. I took it back to Fix it Auto for inspection and was told they didn't find anything. When I confronted Chris who helped me he then changed his story and said that yes they had seen it and knew about it to contact my insurance and for me to take care of it. I was giving them a second chance to make things right since they didn't do it with my windshield, but that did not happen. So with that said I was livid to know they sent me on the road with a leakage in my car. Luckily, I didn't have anyone in the car. I've found other issues but honestly I don't want to deal with them. This place is the BEST!!! Someone threw something on my passenger doors or threw up or something...but it left a bad stain on both doors. I could not get the stains off. I had to file a claim w/my insurance. My insurance sent me to Fix Auto. I dropped off on a Thursday night and Friday they called and said they had removed the stains!! They had polished it out!! Did not have to repaint the doors...didn't have to use the insurance at all!! They took the time to try and do what they could to get the stains out with out having to repaint the doors! Everyone at Fix Auto is nice and friendly and will do what they can to make your experience the best experience they can make it for you!! 20 stars in my opinion Will recommend them to anyone I know who will need body work! read more

This is not a repair shop I would recommend if you are looking for availability, reliability, or quality customer service. I booked repairs with this location after a incident, where my front quarter panel was mildly damaged, all cosmetic. It was enough for my tires to rub up against it when making 90 degree left turns. I booked the appointment with this shop, only because they verified inventory and assured me the repairs would be swift. Immediately after disassembly, I was called about new repairs that needed new parts that and they could not promise would be received anytime soon or reassemble for me to take the car to a different shop. The clergies that operate the phones aren't very nice, and if you require info on your vehicle's status they do a good job of keeping you in the dark. The small radiator filters that sit behind the fog lights on Chevy models are cheap and wildly available. If you need this specific job done i recommend doing it yourself. BTW they are also closed on weekends, so if you must obtain repairs here I recommend dropping off on a Monday not any other day read more

The staff are very helpful on the phone and in person. Mara in the front office is professional and personable. She seems to keep things running smoothly. I was sent to Fix by my insurance company and noticed how busy they were but their employees seem to thrive under pressure. For example, the day I went in for the initial inspection, one of my tires was severely deflated. I didn't want to be late to my appointment so when they were done I asked if they could put air in that tire. I am very very disappointed and upset. My accident was in September 2022, on November 2nd, I left my car to fix in Fix Auto. I was hit while I was at a red light and the person behind didn't notice and it hit me. The entire bumper and part of the trunk were affected and those parts had to be replaced and when disassembling they told me that they found more things to fix. All good up to there. On December 2nd, I'm going to pick it up late and I'm going with my husband, the entire passenger side had scratches that it did not have before, when the trunk was closed you could see one side further apart than the other side. At that time they agreed to fix it under their warranty. The next day when I was able to take a good look at my car in the sunlight, I see that the color did not match, the difference was great. I call them and tell them, they gave me an appointment for December and they cancel me, then for January and they cancel me, I was already upset until February 14, I left it and they started working on it. I pick it up on March 6th, and the color looks much better (not perfect but better), and they fixed the trunk better. Now, let the trunk fill up with water, that really bothered me a lot. They worked on my car, and I don't know what the hell they dumped or broke because the water gets in. I'm tired of going to complain, after an accident, what you want is to fix the car and stay calm, but they did a crap job. The manager Sussue is a nice person, she listens to the client but those who are working behind (painting and body repair) are useless, they do the job as they want and that is a waste of time for the client and even money, they must look for people who like them work and are really responsible. I'm tired of calling them and going to Fix Auto and my car is still having problems because they don't finish fixing it. I do not recommend them. Really disappointed read more

Recently in a auto accident and my insurance listed this location. The staff is very friendly and communicative. Once I dropped my car off they contacted me with any updates and even were friendly when I called myself got a check up. They explained everything from a rough estimate to any possibly delays. Even with a estimated completed they always let me know if something could cause a delay, whether it is parts or waiting for new paint job. This made it easier to plan ahead whether alternate transportation etc. I'm not fully aware of competitive prices but in terms of quality, time and professionalism. I am very impressed. Pulled in early this morning for my 8am appointment and witnessed the receptionist wiping everything down in the entrance and lobby area and thought to myself she is definitely doing her part in representing Fix Auto's part for the COVID19 crisis, very well done on their part. That being seen, I was already impressed on what I anticipated on some work being done to my 2019 Civic Type R. A few hours later as planned, my car was ready and looked very impressive. They did not just take care of my car, they took care of me. When I dropped my car off they made sure I was taken care of, ride to Rental Car Place, offered me Food & Drink everything they could to make me comfortable. They said they'd have my car done 3-4 days tops and I had it back in 2 with everything fixed. They even detailed the car for me inside and outside which was above and beyond what I could have asked for. I brought my luxury car here for light body damage that took 19 days instead of the originally assessed 7. I left the car almost empty on gas. There were only 4 miles left to drive before it was completely empty. When I returned I had 31 miles to drive. There were inmate deposit slips stuffed into my glove compartment with the inmates booking number and someone had deposited him 100 in my vehicle. And left the papers as if they magically materialized. They tried to cover it up by saying sometimes people leave water bottles. This is far from a water bottle. They also said they leave the car running so it doesn't drain the battery but I had to buy an entirely new battery two days after getting my car back from them. They also turned on and left the child lock and I had to reset my automatic windows, work I payed them for. We all know mechanics can change car mileage they are covering one of their lying employees who drove personal errands in my car. This is a complete disregard for trust. This is my second time bringing my vehicle there and there's no telling how many people this is happening too. Do not let this be you!!! Check your cars thoroughly once you get your vehicle. Took my car in for a repair estimate based on YELP reviews and recommendation from my insurance company, what a mistake! guy said there was non-relevant damage done to the side panels, and declined to do the repair work. Never gave me an option of me paying for the side panel work, just flat out declined it. Also claimed there was repair work done to the side panels, which I know is not the case.
