Called again on Friday and again did not have it ready and now was told they need proof of insurance. Why was this not communicated on Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday when we called? I am happy to be the one to give the first review of this gas station. I went to tri par about 2…read moreweeks ago with my son. I was getting gas, but we went inside to grab some snacks. I had grabbed my chips and was ready to check out with the nice young lady and the counter, but at the other side of the counter with the registers stood a short old man. My son was making his way up to the cash register with his candy, when he decided to switch to a different candy since he could only get one. My son changed his mind again and was indecisive, mind you there was no other customers in the store or in the parking lot. Once my son finally decided what candy he wanted he walked up to the register while the short man who was counting cash in his hand looked over and stuck his middle finger up directed at my son in clear view. We set our items down and walked out. What a shame.

It is always really busy when I visit and it just seems like it needs an upgrade and expansion. The ladies bathroom is clean enough. I highly recommend signing up for the app as there are some amazing deals provided through it. Overall, it's better than bad... it's good. Not great, but good.

With…read morecurrent gas prices and no Costco (my regular brand) anywhere nearby, I went for the cheapest gas in the Cedarburg area, and at $4.099/gal for 87 octane (10% ethanol) it was cheaper by about 10 cents than a nearby Mobil I saw.  88 octane (15% ethanol) was actually $4.029/gal, but I didn't want to bully my engine, as I believe more ethanol to be a teeny bit more corrosive.  I also don't normally go with the cheapest discount brands, but once in a while seems fine to me, especially at current prices.  Having worked in the oil industry, gasoline is purely a fungible commodity and as far as I know, the various brands really only differ in their anti-corrosion additives packages.  My car didn't quit on me and didn't act any different, so success, and I'll go with an "ok" rating for now!

I believe the guy's name is Amann, I will tell the story now: I live in Sheboygan and work in Milwaukee. I got into my Jeep and started on my daily trek to work, and about 15 miles north of this place, my gas light comes on. So I pulled off and headed into this gas station. Upon my arrival, I realized that I had left my wallet on my night stand. I talked to Amann (sp?) and asked him if I could call my Fiance' and get my card number and have him run my card. There was no way I was going to make it back home, OR to work and I was in a REAL BIND. He informed me that the way I was going to do that, was not allowed. But he reached into his own pocket and offered me 20$, I only took 10. There is a bank branch where the tellers know me in the area towards my work. I was so floored that a complete stranger, would help a person out and keep them from getting stranded. It restored a bit of faith in humanity that day. I obviously stopped back in the next day and returned the money. I plan on sending some food that way. A small gesture in a world where things like that dont seem to happen anymore. First time, I tried to pay at the kiosk for 10 minutes with no luck, using 3 different cards, all of which were refused. When I gave up, I decided to go into the shop and charge a snack. The clerk easily processed my card, but denied there was a problem outside. As I was leaving, another car was backing out of the kiosk. Second time, I used the other lane, paid, and nothing happened: no lights, no signs -- nothing. I ended up driving through the wash area, and stopped in the store for a refund. The FINAL time, after more than a month, I went to the first lane again. When I reached the entrance to the car wash, a pleasant young man greeted me and directed me to proceed. He began spraying the car, wheels, hubcaps, etc. and motioned to me to follow directions on the sign (put in neutral, foot off breaks, hands off wheel). Then the car started shaking as the mechanism ground away at my tires -- tires that were just serviced, aligned, and rotated the day before. He ultimately had me back out because the mechanism wasn't working. Seriously, fix this stuff or shut it down.
