I wanted to update my review of this business as they have proved themselves to be top notch in the service department! As noted below, I took my Colorado for regular maintenance. After the service, there was some damage to the hood and side panel. I contacted them and EVENTUALLY spoke with the manager (see below for the mix up). Long story short, these guys are just what I would hope to find in a service department at a dealership. I live quite aways away, but I am willing to make the drive to have these guys work on my truck because they are diligent, honest, and generally very pleasant to deal with. I will continue to bring my truck here for service and will probably purchase my next truck from them based on the excellent service I have received! Thank you! read more

I don't usually leave reviews, but this experience needs to be documented because of how misleading it was. I came in completely upfront about my situation. I was trying to get out of a bad loan and into something more reliable. I was told multiple times, that helping customers in situations like mine is something this dealership "takes pride in." That couldn't have been further from the truth. The deal they presented was structured to leave me financing close to $30,000, even after I clearly said I needed to be much lower. What made it worse is that I had already told them I had pre-approved financing and was focused on the total amount financed, not monthly payments. Despite that, they repeatedly tried to steer the conversation back to monthly payment options, as if I hadn't already made that clear. That alone told me everything I needed to know about how they were approaching the deal. Then it got worse. They showed me KBB breakdown sheets to justify the trade values, but conveniently anchored everything at the lowest possible baseline. My Ram 2500 diesel was labeled as a basic SLT, completely ignoring the fact that it has the Outdoorsman package. Anyone familiar with trucks knows that matters, especially in the diesel market. That truck is worth significantly more than what they tried to represent. They highlighted the basic tow package while ignoring the professionally installed gooseneck hitch, an obvious value-add, further minimizing the true worth of the truck. They even deducted $200 for the truck being white, which felt like a petty and arbitrary adjustment used to chip away at the value. They absolutely knew what they were doing. So instead of valuing my vehicles fairly, they minimized everything to make the deal "work" in their favor. On top of that, the inconsistency and pressure tactics were obvious. I was told the Audi had been sitting for months with no interest. Later, after I pushed back on the numbers, I was suddenly told there was "another buyer waiting" and I needed to act immediately. That kind of contradiction isn't a coincidence. And after I declined the deal, I was told my Challenger would just be sent to auction, which came off as dismissive and unprofessional given the situation. I've attached the actual deal sheets and trade breakdowns so anyone can see exactly how this was structured. I didn't walk in expecting a miracle. I expected honesty and a fair attempt to help. What I got instead was a clear example of how numbers can be manipulated, distractions can be used, and pressure can be applied to push a deal that doesn't actually make sense for the customer. If you're considering doing business here, slow down, review everything carefully, and pay attention to the total amount being financed, not just what they want your monthly payment to be. so let's start with sales and finance... they said I had a 6 month 6000 mile warranty on top of a 30 day 1000 mile warranty. I had an issue with the vehicle and the service department was prompt and very courteous with. turns out all was good, thank you to service! sales, however, I spoke to the sales manager about the warranty period and he said that he would speak to the salesperson and finance guy and they would be getting back with me the next day... well that never happened. I guess I need to contact them again on my next day off (I take vacation days for this nonsense). I don't feel like this dealership values the time or hard earned money customers bring to their dealership. very poor follow up, maybe even lies to customers. We bought a 2017 Chevrolet Bolt EV from them. The salesperson knew nothing about the car or EVs in general. I was told the car was fully charged even though it was charged to only 183 miles and it should have a range of 259 miles. i checked and it was fully charged, but the salesperson had no idea what the problem was. He eventually found a story somewhere that the software would not allow the car to charge past 80% until the new battery had 6000 miles on it. I had checked with GM and yes it did have a new battery with only 4000 miles on it. We bought the car and had to charge twice to get home to Moscow Idaho. The "service vehicle" light had come on some time after we left the dealership. I took it to the local Chevy dealer and they figured out that the wiring for the battery coolant recirculation pump was damaged, thus the pump was not working and the computer was limiting the charging as a safety measure. The diagnosis and repair of the wiring cost me about $450. The car now charges to close to 300 miles. I have notified Speedway of the situation many times and never received a response. It is possible that they just reset the service light - aware of the problem - and then sold me the car with the undisclosed damage.. read more

If you're in the market for an new car - Tom is the best! Dealership wasn't too busy and we stopped in after a really negative experience at the Burien location. Tom was extremely low-pressure, and very helpful. Despite not having the exact car we wanted on the lot, he was quick to locate it for us and coordinate it getting delivered with a loaner thrown in while we waited for it to arrive. There was a small discrepancy for a rebate on the paperwork, but the team at Speedway was quick to get things updated and resolved for us. Definitely would come here again next time I'm in the market for a new vehicle! read more

How about doing the right thing and own your error AND comp my son for the inconvenience and insult (charging him $400 to pick up his vehicle that you damaged in your own lot). Shows how much they DO NOT care about their customers, acceptable business practices, and their own business!! And then to lie about 'looking into it'! Insulting. Meanwhile, because my ex and I bought a $48,000 Jeep Wrangler from them several years ago, we get an email from a manager? Mike Lentz inviting us to come in and shop! We'll pass. read more

My experience with the dealership side has been good, but I took in a car I had bought there - hoping it was still under warranty - because the wiper fluid pump was no longer working for the front windshield. They charged me $250 to diagnose the problem, and their diagnosis was just that the pump didn't work. They told me I'd have to pay about another $800 to have the pump replaced. I don't think they even looked at the pump: they charged $250 to press the button and determine exactly what I was telling him - that it wasn't spraying. I declined their offer, bought a pump at the auto parts store for $25, and took it to a local repair shop where I was quoted one hour of labor to replace the pump. I agreed, but the mechanic called me a few minutes after starting and told me the old pump functioned just fine. It had just come unplugged. So he charged me for a half an hour of labor and I was able to return the pump I had purchased at the auto supply store. So this dealership charged me $250 to diagnose and didn't notice the pump had come unplugged. Then they wanted another $800 to install a $25 pump in less than an hour. The funny thing is, when I didn't know how much it should cost, if they'd offered to credit the $250 I paid for them to diagnose it toward the charge to replace it, I probably would've done it. But instead, they chose to attempt to shove it as far up my backside as possible, and I walked away and they've lost a customer for life. Crooks. read more

They basically just rubbed dirt around- it's swirled af (which was the whole thing we're trying to avoid!!!!) and scratched! Going to have to have it detailed and waxed now beyond ticked! read more

My Cadillac suddenly overheated, and I scrambled to find a mechanic ASAP, as it's my only vehicle. I had appointments to meet, so it was critical to get to them. I was striking out until I landed on Speedway. I took the car in, and the service manager checked around for availability of the part needed to fix a leaking hose. Boom! He said he could get it overnight, and he turned me over to Nate, a service advisor that scheduled me at opening time the next morning. Nate provided an estimate as well, cautioning me that he was including extra time just in case it took longer than anticipated. When the work was done, he did, in fact charge the lower end of the estimate. The facility is clean and well organized, and the waiting room is super comfortable as well. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Speedway to my friends and family. read more

First I want to say I love the layout of my Coachman Catalina but we bought it brand new a year ago March. Did a run through, pillow on coach was missing, we let it go as we really didn't want them. The led awning lights didn't work. They put in an order for new lights. Got the trailer home. I was getting it ready to use and realized the frig didn't work. We called it in. putting things away the cabinet door fell off. My husband put it back on. I bought a small frig to tie us over until the big frig was replaced or fixed. The unit comes with a small outside frig too. It worked temporarily-- it took several months for the frig to get straightened out- I never did know if it was fixed or replaced but it's still working. The other frig I bought is collection bf dust in my garage but we needed it at the time. Door falls off of cupboard again, husband fixed it. I don't recall how long it took on the outside lights. If memory serves me right they came in but were wrong size. New order several months later comes in and they install them. Goes and gets trailer and they are all white not the multi changing light that was to come with unit and the remote is to work with. After almost a year trying the get lights for outside we let it go. This past Feb I believe it was my daughter slept in the trailer. She smelled smoke. The canopy had been on fire caused by an error in the lights. Now the lights don't work and I've several holes in my canopy from the lights catching fire. Thank God it was raining and put the fire out. The dealership won't make good on it , says it's Coachman's issue and Coachman won't make good on it so my husband is fixing both. I'll never buy a Coachman again nor from this dealership. We were lucky the trailer didn't catch fire with my daughter in it and neither place seem to care. read more

I am very angry and disappointed , two years ago I bought a GMC Sierra 2500 diesel from this dilership with warranty and all this time I have had problems with this truck, the truck emits blue smoke and I have taken it to be inspected on many different occasions. Supposedly the dealership has nothing to say about it and they always have to fix different problems but they never find the real root cause of the issues. As soon as I leave the dealership and drive away it starts emitting blue smoke again and again. Which I pay for because the repairs are not covered under the "amazing" warranty I bought. The way I see it they don't want to take care of the problem and want to wait for the warranty to expire . My family has always had a Chevy but thanks to this we will focus on other better quality brands. read more

I purchased a new 2014 Chevrolet Sonic LT Hatchback. This is my 2nd purchase from Speedway, my first being a used car. I also have my 2006 Pontiac GTO serviced there. I came back to Speedway because of that first experience and the great service from Chris Appia. I really appreciate the way I was treated by the whole staff there. I used to sell new Chevrolets at a dealer in the Los Angeles area. It was a privately owned dealership and so it was not a production house like some of the large dealers now. The sales staff would stick with you the whole way and we built relationships. That's how Speedway is and I hope they never change. They didn't jerk me around and it was a very easy purchase. I will be bringing the Sonic there for service when needed as well as my GTO. My wife will be needing a new ride in a year or two so I will be contacting Chris again when we're ready. read more

Shane our advisor & Joe who handled financing were both exceptional. We've been in the market for a truck for a while no real need but shopped at least 4 dealerships with conversations visits etc. Working in sales these experiences can be very off putting. Classic sales processes for dealerships, getting commitments, up selling, putting pressure on decision makers. Shane responded to a random phone call, respected me and my space, and listened to what my wife and I were asking for. Both Shane & Joe communicated on our terms and pace and made the process simple and enjoyable. Funny enough this is the second car purchase in two months due to an accident and first Chevrolet either of us have owned. I think that the repair was completed by skilled technicians and the work was done to a very high standard of excellence. The communication was not great and it was unclear about the timeline. I like everyone who works here but getting through on the phone is difficult I was not contacted much regarding progress and apparently the part was late but no one told me. I think a big improvement would be to offer a photograph of the vehicle while it is disassembled. I think it offers peace of mind and an artifact to keep in a portfolio. Real disappointed that Chevy did not warrant this repair as I had told the dealership about a small leak while it was still under warranty. The service department decided to wait to replace the part until it was a big problem instead of submitting it to GM warranty department at the first sign of leak. I told the dealership service department at Lee Johnson Speedway Monroe at two separate times that the heater core was bad and described the fogged up windshield and smell of coolant while driving. They did not take any action while the vehicle was under manufacturer warranty. read more

I really want to love this place but... I've tried to buy a new and used cars from here but the sales team didn't know their cars well enough to "sell me". I wanted a 3/4 Ton suburban but they didn't have one so the sale person tried to convince me that a (used) Denali was "just as good". Really?! The parts counter is friendly but they only seem to know what their computer tells them. Asking them "what other parts should I get, while I am here?" Answer, blank stare. And the service is hit and miss. Jennifer is the make-it-happen service rep while the others seem to want me to feel bad for coming in with an issue for them to fix - ya know, service. The service department will lie to you, they will steal from you. I took my 2020 3500 in a couple days ago because the parking brake wouldn't release and I had a "Service Parking Brake" alert. I got a call from the service advisor saying all the voltages checked out - no problem with the brake modules. He said my parking brake shoes were worn and delaminated. He wanted $1150.00 to change the shoes... which cost less than $100. I turned down the attempted theft and picked my truck up. When I got it home I realized they had never even removed the rear wheels to look at the brakes- they never asked where my lug nut key is and there weren't any fingerprints or smudges on my wheels- they never touched them. So when I picked the truck up they charged me $225.00 for "diagnostics". I asked if they could perform the recall that was still outstanding on it, the guy said they already did it. The recall was a software update for the DEF system which required a computer restart anyway. So basically they plugged their computer into my truck, did the recall and restarted the truck computer, charged me $225 for that "service" and then TRIED TO ROB ME of $1150.00. I brought my truck in due to running roughly. They said it was a sensor ($450) to fix it. Paid it and took it home. it started doing the same thing right away So I took it back. They said it needed a tune up ($1200), I paid it and took it home. It started to do the same thing again. I took it back, they kept it for 3.5 weeks! Brought my Tahoe in for a recall repair. The person that I spoke to knew exactly what I was talking in and got it on their schedule quickly. I had never been there before and the service department was fabulous. Not only did they fix the recall but they were very accommodating. I asked if they could do an oil change that day & they fit in the oil change, rotated the tires, checked the brakes, replaced a tail light & washed the car before they gave it back. If I could give this Chevrolet dealer ZERO (0) for rating I would. When my ABS service light came on the dash, I took it to Les Schwab & have them diagnosed it. They did a complimentary diagnosis & said I'll be needing a new Yaw rate sensor & that I'll have to take it to the dealer for that repair. Which I did that same day. I showed Dennis Weaver the paperwork from Les Schwab & he said come back Tuesday (0618/19) for them to diagnose it. I dropped off my vehicle b/c he said it'll take an hour just for them to diagnose. Not once did they let me know before I made the appointment that it'll cost $169.42 for them to diagnose it. They just assumed that they will rip me off after I come back later. Few minutes later, I got a call asking for $844.85 for the part & that does not include the tax. I said no & I'll come by & pick up my truck. The same complimentary diagnosis Les Schwab has given me cost $169.42 at this rip off place. I was so mad because they literally misled me & no one had told me that just by looking at it will cost me that much. The service people are terrible, they spend more time gossiping on the phone & make you stand in line & listen to their nonsense conversation. They make you feel like they are doing you a favor for giving them your business. I went home & looked online how much the actual part cost, less than $30. This is the second time I went to this dealership & both times are the worst experience I've had. I will never recommend this dealership & will directly complain to the Chevrolet headquarter for sure. The WORST dealership I have dealt with. I wanted to support our local businesses but this kind of bad customer service & chauvinistic attitude is unacceptable. read more

I brought my van here for an oil change & tire rotation and just dropped it off for the day. They did those things and then also washed my van for me. They had it for an additional two days, then lied and said they could not recreate the shaking. I was able to Immediately recreate the issue, and now it happens at slower speeds. overpaid, they underdelivered and then lied about it. read more

Great car buying experience. My husband and I were on the market for a new truck. We visited Bickford Ford and here. Night and Day. Bickford was your typical shady pushy untrustworthy car buying experience. At Speedway we were met with kindness and understanding like actual human beings. Jackson at Speedway was our guy and he was so knowledgeable about trucks. And so nice and sincere. We got our dream truck with a great experience and great deal. Thank you Jackson. Scam Alert I took my vehicle to the service department with a transmission issue. The quote was $2600. About half the price of the vehicle. So I wanted to get another estimate before buying a new car. After paying about $300+ for the estimate I took my car to Aamco. They gave me a free estimate and told me that the repairs would be $460. Aamco could not find the issues that Speedway claimed was causing the transmission problem. I had the repairs done. It has been a month and the car is running great. Shame on you Speedway Cheverolet. read more

Purchased a 2012 Santa Fe here in July. Service was friendly and relaxed. Car has been great. I get my Santa Fe and my wife's Sentra serviced here as well. Service department is great, except for the older/bigger gentleman with a shaved head and Goatee. The 1st time I got my oil change, I had a coupon, and this guy tried to scold me about not giving him a coupon prior to dropping off and letting him know I had a coupon. It's $5 bud, and I gave it to you at time of check-out. Anyway, I gave them a second chance and we noticed the other members have been friendly and honored my coupons (without a hassle) the last 3 times we've went. I would give 5 stars but the unfriendly service guy the 1st time and not working with me on a price discount for the Santa Fe knocks them down to a 4(which is still a good review). I would still recommend Speedway Chev due to friendly service and inspection during our oil changes (they even wash your car, which is a huge PLUS) and the laid back sales approach. Keep up the good work and tell the larger guy, with a shaved head, the coupons are what got your company my business. So dont hassle customers when they use them. After our two month old car was totaled by a drunk driver we found ourselves in a new nightmare, getting a new vehicle. Since we paid the car off in less than a year our credit took a hit. Nobody seemed to care it was a drunk driver that caused the payoff. Insurance company nightmares had us scrambling from dealership to dealership trying to put our lives back together. Nobody seemed to care about our situation until we got to Speedway Chevrolet. The facility is clean and beautiful and thats a reflection of the people we met. Jeff Gross our salesman and Joe Harvey from finance saw the hoops we had to jump through and not only worked with us they jumped through them with us. We judge businesses by above and beyond customer service but there is the rare business that makes your trouble their own and solves it. Initially we had a very pleasant experience. Traded our vehicle and got money back. We were to have our plates mailed because we live far away. I've had to call and reminded them twice now to send the plates. I'm still not sure if they've been sent out and I'm 2 days away from temporary expiring. I had to call and remind then to send me my check. I was happy about to he Bluetooth and they never told me it would cost me an extra $300 to have it installed. Apparently what's equipped is partial. I was never informed that the factory warranty needed to be transferred within 30 days of purchase at a cost of $150 to stay valid..... and now my 2016 vehicle is acting up. Well I have never trusted stealerships, but I decided to give them a shot since I had recalls on my Sierra that needed to get taken care of. I had a door panel pin break off I wanted replaced and was told it would be about $200 Keep in mind this is a single broken plastic pin! Couldn't take more than 5-10 mins! I can do it myself! That was the first red flag. I needed my truck detailed and they had a good deal for exterior @ $189. I pick up my truck today and there are noticeable chips in the paint from the detail and I spoke to the manager there pointed them out and he claimed they were there before. That is funny its my driver door I look at everyday and wash once a week I would of noticed the chips! Anyways the manager called me a liar and refused to do anything. The service department also must be on commission and will only help their own customer. When I picked up my truck there were 3 people at the service counter and I had to wait over 20 minutes for help because Scott "had my file" While the other service reps sat there just bullshitting while i was waiting. All my paperwork and keys were already on the counter. I work with a lot of people looking for good places to get a car and I will make sure to let everyone I know about my experience. I have never had a worst experience. Being called a liar after giving the dealership over $300 bucks. Point of the story if you want a detail or work done on your car/truck don't come here unless you want your paint chipped and to pay a fortune for any other work needed. read more

I made an online appointment to do warranty work on my truck. Received a TON of email and text reminders about the appointment and had someone take time off from work to pick me up. Once there they said they had to order parts and would call me. ??? Seriously? They could have contacted me anytime over two weeks to tell me this but instead let me drive all the way in just to "get my VIN"...I could have provided that over the phone. The service manager couldn't have cared less (Brooks) and said he had "no way" of contacting me about the parts issue.
