They told me they'd be there at 6; by 6:45 they were still a no show, and hadn't called, so I called in. The person who answered promised to get ahold of the locksmith, but by 7:20 I still hadn't heard anything - from him or the locksmith. I called back again and he simply told me the locksmith never returned his text - no explanation for why he didn't call me, no apology, just seemed to not at all think this was unusual. Given locksmiths are usually called in emergencies, I definitely would not depend on them again.

The locksmith that was sent to our home spoke absolutely no English and could not understand one word we were saying. On the door leading from the garage into the house he installed ONLY a deadbolt with no doorknob and no handle. I've never seen a door setup that way in my entire 40+ year life. The door now cannot be closed and unlocked at the same time. He did absolutely no cleanup and I had to sweep and pickup all of the work areas myself around all the doors. When I called the next day to complain and ask for another visit (by someone who speaks English), I was told they would call me back but they NEVER did. Take your business somewhere else.

I walked into Fox Chase, and asked if they could re-key and I would pick it up later in the day. They said I could wait if I wanted. I got a quick bite to eat, and the old cylinders were re-keyed, cleaned, and lubricated when I got back, and at a very reasonable price! GREAT JOB GUYS!!!!

I like the fact that he called to tell me he was on his way and the time it would take to get to my house. This was important because a friend offered to drive from a great distance to sit with me until a locksmith arrived but with a short ETA, it wasn't necessary (saved my friend time and gas). Russel was friendly and worked quickly on that rainy evening to replace the lock on my security door. Unfortunately, because the lock was a deadbolt he had to drill through the key hole to remove the entire unit. Although a bit expensive, I'm very happy with the quality of service received from Jefferson Locksmith from the time I placed my call up until the end of the service call and I highly recommend them.
