Had a quote on my car for $300 for rotors and calipers. Do to extra labor it ended up being double the price at $600. No communication on the price being doubled until I paid and was extremely surprised and confused. They did a great job but the lack of communication on the extra labor charges I cannot recommend this place. $140 for labor is robbery! read more

Once again, I want to tell everyone what a great experience I have had with this garage! We've tried many garages over the years. Big, small, corporate, family owned you name it, I've tried it! I've never found anyone as honest as this place! Their looking out for the customer first, instead of trying to up sell you and get you to do unnecessary work. I don't mean to slam other reviews - but I have to just say that Rory C is just way off-base. My family has been using Speedy Lube for over 14 years. These guys know how to do an oil change and fast. A standard oil change is $34.95 which includes additional things like windshield wiper fluid. They do a great job and have a staff that has been consistent over the years. The Chaput family is one of the few families to trust when it comes to cars. They take care of them. For the same reason, we do our inspections there too. They are a bit more expensive than some other places - but they do a standup job. This year, I had a sensor fail on my car (hence my engine light was on.) They didn't give me the run around like the reputation of many car shops. They don't do repairs too often. They are an oil change place first. But if you can get them to do a repair, you're in some of the best hands Manchester has to offer. Remember, Speedy Lube makes their money on oil changes and that they'd rather have you come visit them for every oil change rather than one or two visits. For this reason, the prices on any repair are comparable or better than what you'll find elsewhere. Speedy Lube is a staple of Manchester auto care. I highly recommend going here. Honest, quality services performed by a solid family business. The first indicator that you are in great hands here would be that instead of trying to sell you on a new air filter these guys take the air compressor to it and blow out any debris. Trust me most oil change places like Valvoline will try to convince you that you need a new air filter every other oil change. So when the techs here try to say that you need a new air filter you really should trust them as they only once suggested it to me as mine had a gnarly tear in it! I also give them props for no BS on inspections. This isn't to say they will just slap a sticker on a car, but again they are honest and I have even had circumstances where they have said "this passes now, but I don't think you want to wait a year". When I once did fail because of a ball joint on my truck it was totally legit. The wheel could be wiggled around with minimal effort while on the lift and I was beyond grateful they pointed it out to me then made things very low hassle once I came back post-repair. If you live in the area I urge you to give this honest, sincere family business a chance. They deserve it!!!!! read more

Great place . Fast state inspection garage as opposed to other places that take like 2 hours to do a state inspection which is BS. I recommend this place to everyone. A friend told me about this place. Didn't believe it until I went . I am now going here all the time. So the middle finger to the rest . Haha the rest just lost my business. Took my mom's car, a new car to another garage and yet they told her she needed a 4 X 4 thing at the dealership. They pass it but recommend she get it done even though it's a new car and it will not need it until 10 years. That's crap. It would cost her $ 500 . This is Bill Dube of Dover. Don't go here. Avoid at all costs. Cost me $69.90 for a basic oil change. For starters an oil change is the easiest maintenance on a car. I pulled in and they managed to screw up an oil change. Something about their oil pump messed up and my oil got overfilled along with a ton of oil over my engine. They cleaned it up and I thought no big deal, mistakes happen. Then I went to pay and the cost was $69.90. Keep in mind this is crap oil and a cheap oil filter. This isn't high end synthetic. I usually change my own oil and now I remember why. The worst oil change I have ever had and cost me more than I have ever paid. Not sure if it was because they saw I was from Massachusetts but either way it comes off like they do bad business read more

Speedy Lube is not exactly speedy. Took about 2 hours to get a State inspection done. First come, first served policy for inspections. Was done quickly and fine once they finally got the car into the bay. Would not suggest if you are in a hurry. Cost was consistent with what most places charge - $30, but, many of those places will take an appointment so you are not wasting your time waiting. read more
