He had to replace insulation in an outer wall and do some tricky cutting to fit the drywall around outlets, vents, and plumbing in the laundry room. we hired T&M last week to do some interior lite work, prime, paint and trim work in various rooms…read more He comes over, very polite and seemed business like. my wife showed him each space that she wanted done and what she wanted done in each space, he was taking notes. we had purchased the trim wood for one space plus additional pieces for another space. he looked at the wood and wrote it down. he gives the office person, his notes. she/they come up with $7,500.00 estimate. they phoned my wife with the estimate (nothing in writing), poor business practice. workers arrived, doing a good job, however did not put on the inside corner pieces, just a button to cover up the space. while that was going on she calls and it would cost another $2600.00 to pai nt one room . they never showed us a final estimate to verify and sign. if they had, allthis would have been avoided. as it is, they believe we won't pay any more than the $4,000.00 and they are right. he estimated wrong on the wood, nothing was given to us in writing as to what they were going to do, that cost the $7500.00. i apoligise for raining on their parade, but business wise, i am surprised they are still in business after 3 years. work wise, they have 3 good people,just need fine tuning on corner pieces. thank you, Paul Thorne.

I agreed to do the only garbage disposal installation for $160 and set an appointment . He show up one hour early without communication. He told us need to do the outlet box and it will be additional $100 (decided to raise another $10) , my husband said he will do the outlet box himself, Jaime was ok to sell us electrical plastic box just extra $1-$2. When he finishes the job he said is $170, I asked why? He said because I brought you the electrical box that's additional $10. I told him I don't need the box you can take it back (since he want to up charge so much) , he got mad and say don't ever call him in the future for any service. We never wanted him to do the outlet box since the beginning, and he got mad because we didn't want to pay him $10 for this $0.50 electrical box he brought us. Poor communication and not professional at all.

Today's issue, a clogged/back-up drain in our kitchen sink....he snaked it out, then noticed damage to one of the drainage pipes...hops in his truck to go out and acquire the right part, returns to complete this job....then, while he's already "under the kitchen sink", replaced and installed a new kitchen faucet for us....then, before he can make his escape out the front door, with his tools still by his side, he make a stop and replaced/installed a new toilet seat in the downstairs-guest bathroom....moral of this story....you only need "ONE Dave visit...to kill many birds"....Dave the Handyman, DOES IT ALL....thanks for great work today at a fair and reasonable price....!!!
