We went to the back of the store where there were a lot of adult sex toys and accessories. I was surprised to hear they shopped there. If I could rate this place 0 stars, I would. This is by far the worst Spencer's I have ever walked into in my life. Around 1:45pm me and my boyfriend walked into spencers. I was taking a look at the graphic tee's that they have there and noticed a coraline shirt that I LOVED. I proceeded to walk up to check out and this younger lightskin black haired woman proceeded to try to check me out and asked for me to put my number in. I proceeded to put my phone number in. After I was done, she proceeds to say "Would you mind being charged for a bag" I procceeded to say yes and then she says "Would you mind taking the clothes you stuffed out of your bags" I was very shocked and very CONFUSED on why she is accusing me of stealing when all I wanted to do was checkout a coraline shirt. The woman procceds to say "We have cameras so we can check" I put my bags on the counter for her to check because I wanted to prove to her I didn't steal a DAMN thing and then she says "Oh okay" and shrugs her shoulders. I didn't even purchase a shirt anymore because I was INFRUIATED. I used to work at a retail store and the number one rule was to NEVER assume that someone is stealing and DONT procced to accuse things. I walked out shaking because I felt so confused and targeted spefically by HER on stealing when I was so willing to show her my bags. I had also managed to speak to the customer call center as I reported this incident. As a customer that LOVES spencer, this place needs to seriously reconsider on employees there. 1 star for the store being organized 1 star for having what I came for 1 star for having no line when I was ready to check out. Now let me discuss what had me pissed as I was leaving the store. The store was nearly empty with 5 people walking around. I stood at the register for 2 minutes and 36 seconds, according to the stop watch on my phone, without any acknowledgement from the tall, skinny white male behind the register. He decided counting money in the register was more important than doing my transaction so I could swipe my card and be on my way. What annoyed me the most is he lack of professionalism. Customers should always be acknowledged. It takes seconds to smile and greet a customer. If it wasn't for my daughter, I would have left the store without purchasing anything. I can buy the same stuff on Amazon. Why can't these retail stores realize they have competition and word of mouth is the best way to keep others from shopping here. Until I hear from others that the customer service has improved, I will not be back. I have options, so my money will be spent elsewhere. Step up your game or close the doors. read more

Love the store, and most of the staff. Let me explain why I only gave 2 stars. This year for St Patty's day (2016), they had two big signs that said "Mix Match Buy One Get One 50% off" for their St Patty's day merchandise. When my mother, who was visiting at the time, and I walked in, we even asked the associate to make sure that the promo was for ALL the St Patty's day product, and he confidently said yes. When we go checkout, I was told that, the sale is only for the hats. When I walked over to check the sign again, it didn't say "Hats" and when I asked the associate, he also thought it was for all St Patty's merch. So this is obviously a typical retail error, but that isn't the main issue that bothered me. When the cashier asked his District Manager to do a price override to honor the sale, she just said no, while continuing her phone conversation... Oh and yes I know it's their district manager, because I've worked in that mall for two years. I've worked and managed retail stores for 6 years, she is the reason why retail is dying. The way she denied it.. for one, it was simple false advertisement.. it should of been overridden, and even IF the sign did say Hats somewhere, the associate even confirmed that he said that... She didn't even give me that satisfaction to telling me directly.. She didn't even look at me... The only reason this isn't a 1 Star review, is because the rest of the staff, and store is great, but that was seriously one of the most ignorant situations I've ever seen from a district manager.. ever... read more

We went inside bright and early yesterday morning in hopes of purchasing items for my soon to be bachelorette party. Upon arrival we greeted the two cashiers and began looking and picking things out. About two minutes later a mall security guard storms in and stands right next to us before interrogating is about why we were in the store. Beyond baffled at the fact that we three mid 20's African American females were just racially profiled we were trying to understand what threat we had caused to anyone. After a few awkward moments of still attempting to look we were informed of "no loitering" and then we simply left to diffuse an argument. Will not be going back into this store and it's a sad shame because we picked out quite a few items from another local Spencer's. read more

This place is as good as it gets to me. I love finding pranks at this store, and while some of the stuff is too crude, even for me, they have some things you won't find anywhere else. I generally use this store to shop for my office co-workers as some of them are parents of little kids and they won't go in here, so they will never guess what the gift could be. The prices are reasonable as well, unlike many other places in the mall. read more

Wow what a great store! I have never heard of this place but one of my boys was like dude you gotta check it out. So of course I did. They have some great sex toys and some hilarious t-shirts. I ended up buying 4 t-shirts because they had a BOGO deal. One of the shirts was about boobies, another shirt was about big butts, another shirt was about Fetty Wap. Gotta say also the staff is fine! They got some hot chicks working there and their was this funny older guy working who had a lot of knowledge about how to use the sex toys properly. MIkayla is wonderful and knowledgeable! She helped me save on my piercings! Wasn't aware of the sale nor piercing card.
