My family and I went holiday shopping inside Meadows Mall on a Thursday evening. Spencers is located inside Meadows Mall, off of the 95/Valley View exit in Las Vegas. There is ample amount of parking available. This was one of the last stores we ventured into and quickly exited as it was my first time in a Spencer's before. I had no idea what to expect. I originally thought it was going to be more like a hot topic when I initially saw some of their apparel when first entering. I was so wrong! Spencers is a unique shop with a variety of apparel, including sweaters, T-shirts, and so much more. There was also anime themed merchandise and other gifts. This is a unique store that is adulted oriented. Prices didn't seem too expensive. Staff was friendly. read more

Went in to buy a pair of shorts , didn't realize how terrible the quality was until I got home and washed them only to find out the string wasn't secured within the shorts properly like most are that are that pricey . I tried to return and I had the receipt but they said no returns due to washing even though it wasn't worn . But they said I could do an exchange for a new pair which makes no sense . It's the way for the company to lock in items so they don't lose money regardless . Terrible employees aswell I spoke to a short girl and another girl named Jordan - they were both very dismissive towards me and wouldn't offer me the Store Managers name who had said I wasn't able to return the item to begin with . I then just use store credit to buy one of their Lava Lamps , and even this is awful quality . I am never shopping at a Spencer's again , they're money hungry whilst making their items super cheap , have inexperienced workers ( not to mention rude ) ! read more

The people working here have no sense of customer service. I asked one for help and she said sure I'll help. Then walked away. She was waiting for me at cashier...she didn't say to follow her or wave me over. I asked her if she needed me over there. She said "yeah, I'd need you over here." Poor girl. I won't blame her for what she does not understand. Then I heard the gentleman mumble "would you like a receipt to another customer. He didn't hear it but we all heard the "Fuck it then." That he said after. So the customer left eagerly as he heard that & saw him put the receipt down. Then! He yells after the customer "you want the receipt?" I went to return a jersey I was unhappy with, the costumer service was horrible. The cashier belittled me. I was trying to be nice but she was giving me disgusted looks the whole time. I am a teenager and feel like she saw that and assumed I was not mature. She made me feel dirty and shameful. Also, they don't give cash refunds even though I bought the shirt with cash. They instead forced me to get a gift card to their store, which I don't want because I don't want to go there again. I don't recommend shopping here, especially if you only have cash. read more

I used to work for Specer Gifts when I was way young. Hehehe it's like a borderline porno store. I mean seriously - what made me laugh is people buy this stuff. Ok so yea I do! Spencer has inexpensive halloween stuff. Blacklights - stuff like that. That's way worth it! Christmas we had the grinch sandals....Sold for 19.99 a pair....Wow - that sold. I came to Meadows Mall particularly to go to Spencers to find a Christmas gift for my oldest dearest friend. I remember seeing a Edward Cullen snuggie here months ago (she would have loved it!) so I was hoping they would still have it. Unfortunately they didn't have it but they had the next best thing an Edward Cullen Blanket. I asked for a gift box but the cashier said they only had a gift bag but it wouldn't be appropriate. Awesome sauce!! I grew up on the irreverent nature of this store. I've been shopping the shelves for a very long time. Spencer's has the coolest merchandise if you have a sense of humor. But if you are politically correct, stay away! The political merchandise had me cracking up. It was almost as funny as some of the debates have been themselves. I did notice a lot more merchandise that seemed to favor Hillary Clinton versus the merchandise that poked fun at or offered insults towards the other candidates. Hillary should get similar pokes as well. But that part I will forgive them for....cool spot with very nice and helpful staff! read more

This used to be a really cool store but the Meadows Mall location feels more like a yard sale for frat boys. The staff asked if we needed help once then disappeared. We waited for 10 minutes to make our purchase, at the register counter. One clerk was gone and the other was chatting the whole time with someone. They never acknowledged us standing there until another customer came in asking for an exchange and certainly never apologized. I won't be returning to this location any time soon. read more

I went to the mall with a friend and our teen girls. It was my kid's birthday and a visit to the Meadows Mall was on her list of must dos on her birthday. Not on her wish list Ashlee, overzealous, rude Spencer's employee. Ashlee decided the girls were thieves and shook them down on their way out. Blocked their way out of the store. Yelled at them and told them to empty their pockets. Finding no stolen merch, Ashlee got mall security and followed the girls to another store. Waited outside of the shop for us to finish our purchases and again had the girls turn out their pockets. She spoke in a very condescending manner to me. The experience was humiliating. Again no stolen merchandise. And we were treated to added security attention after the incident had ended. Clearly it was time to leave the mall. We won't be returning. read more
