This was my second visit to the Sphere, and once again, I was completely blown away. Yes, it's expensive, but in my opinion, it's absolutely worth it! I've seen The Wizard of Oz countless times throughout my life, but I've never experienced it like this. The Sphere makes you feel like you're actually inside the movie. From the wind and the tornado to the falling snow and apples seemingly dropping from the sky, the immersive effects are incredible. It's truly an experience unlike anything I've ever seen before. If you're planning to go, I highly recommend sitting up high. We were in Section 406, right in the middle, and it was the perfect spot to take in the entire experience. One piece of advice: skip the popcorn. I know the souvenir box is tempting, but the popcorn was extremely stale. It tasted dry and almost plastic-like. My friend even took hers back for an exchange, but the replacement tasted exactly the same. Definitely not worth the price. Speaking of prices, be prepared--everything inside is expensive. I would suggest eating and drinking before you arrive. Despite the disappointing popcorn, the show itself was absolutely magical and something everyone should experience at least once. The Sphere takes a classic movie and turns it into an unforgettable adventure.
I loved the venue and would definitely be back for other experiences. Enjoyed No Doubt with great sound and good view of the stage. However; it's definitely better to enjoy the upper seating areas to see the full sphere area and get the full effect of the arena. Good food and drink offerings throughout the arena and plenty of bathrooms, although women's gets a long line still and why does it show free feminine products if there are none to offer??? *plenty of time and space to restock later in the concert but they choose not to. Hoping to catch a good show in the future and feel a little more prepared and I hope the venue is too.
I've been to the Sphere twice now, once for The Wizard of Oz and once for the No Doubt concert, and both experiences were incredible. After visiting the Sphere, it's honestly hard to imagine going back to a regular concert or movie venue. Everything about this place feels next-level. I don't think there's a bad seat in the entire venue. The screen quality is crystal clear, the visuals are breathtaking, and the sound is unlike anything I've ever experienced. What really sets the Sphere apart is the immersive 4D technology. During The Wizard of Oz, the seats vibrated during certain scenes, and foam apples were dropped into parts of the audience. At the No Doubt concert, foam oranges rained down from the ceiling, adding another fun and unexpected element to the show. Getting in and out is easy, whether you're walking across the bridge from the Palazzo or using the rideshare/drop-off area. The entire experience feels well organized from start to finish. If you're visiting Las Vegas, I highly recommend experiencing the Sphere at least once. It's one of the most impressive entertainment venues I've ever been to and absolutely lives up to the hype.
OK, first of all let me say this is the second time we had been to the sphere and as usual everything was very nice prices on the tickets were not too crazy expensive. But I think because this time we got to see the Wizard of Oz experience. This brought everything over the top and made it a very excellent experience. I will put up pictures and video if possible, but you must come check this out you will not be disappointed. Try to get here while the Wizard of Oz is still here, but either way the sphere is something that everyone must see check it out.
What an experience!! We loved all the special effects. I sat in the in section 405 row 14 seat 31. It's got a good view on the stage. You're high enough up that you aren't looking up to see the movie. I might suggest getting a little lower if you want to catch an apple. I heard they were selling apples in the gift shop after the show, but I didn't see any so that practice may have stopped or it was just a rumor. Either way I wasn't blessed with an apple. The hike to our seats was overwhelming. The sphere is so tall and steep. We took the escalator and got off on the 4th floor and walked up. We had the choice of walking up or down as our seats were in the middle of the sections. We voted it would be easier to walk up then down. We held on to the rail the whole climb. Most people were having difficulty on the walk, especially the women in heels with a cane. I'm surprise she made it without a spill. People were carrying food and drinks and it was hard to watch them after we got settled. I'm surprise they made it without a spill or falling. If you are afraid of heights this might not be your thing. It even made me a little queasy. Or you may sit towards the front so you aren't looking down and seeing the whole screen. Our seats were on the isle which was good. No climbing over anyone which would have been difficult. Especially since the rows are so long with not may isles. They should have put in more isles so you didn't have to climb over so many people. There were late comers too after the movie started. The seats were comfortable for the 75 minute movie. The seats don't recline, but they do rumble during different scenes. The concessions were decent. They had a full bar from what I could see. They also had your standard theater fair. Such as popcorn, some in Wizard of Qz boxes I believe for $12, candy of all kinds, chips, ect. They also had some hot foods such as hot dogs and chicken nuggets, don't quote me as I was just trying to observe from our seats. Lots of people were eating and drinking. More drinking than eating. With all the food being served and the possibility of spills I didn't find the floor sticky. The bathrooms were plentiful and clean. Even right after the show on the 5th floor there was not waiting. They were trying to push everyone to use the facilities on the 2nd level, but I ducked in and there wasn't an issue. There are several doors to enter in the theater. If you walk in soon as you get off your LYFT that door doesn't have the shoes, you need to walk all the way around and then you can get your shot. I almost walked in the wrong door and missed my selfie moment. They even have stickers on the ground telling where you should stand for the best selfie. After you take your if you a re general admission you need to walk upstairs to the entrance. Security was tight. You walk though a metal detector and the discriminate against large bags. And if you beep or are closed they pat you down. The line was quick to get in. They had multiple metal detectors and doors open. We arrived around 7pm for the 8pm show. We wanted to make sure we got all of our pictures before they opened the doors a at 730m. I believe they actually opened their doors earlier. The tornado scene was exciting. They had tissue paper leaves flying around as part of the effect. Those I was able to collect a bunch of. A fun souvenir. I would have rather have the apple, but beggars can't be choosers. If you aren't familiar with the movie and you haven't seen wicked it's kind of hard to follow as they cut so many scenes out. I suggest you watch the original movie before going to the Sphere. The movie is actually 120 minuets and they trimmed out 25 minutes of it. You may not think that's a lot, but it does make it a bit confusing. I am thankful that I saw both Wicked films and it really ties everting together. The had some fabulous merchandise and if money were no object to me I would have scooped more up. I settled for the white socks with the characters on it and the red poppies i really wanted the umbrella, but that was $75. And the fleeces coat I liked was $199 They closed the raised walkway from the Venetian, but it's still walkable from the strip. We took LYFT there because we were coming from the Rio and then we walked to the strip afterwards to hang out and then catch a LYFT back from a less busy spot. Overall it was a good experience. My husband came out confused due to the move was cut short and he hadn't seen wicket. We enjoyed the special effects.
Last minute No Doubt concert. Amazing performance and entertainment from No Doubt. Midori sour's were not strong at all. Mimosa was good and tasty. Surf n turf fries were ok. Shrimp was good but steak was cut really small. Oc smash burger was good. The Sphere is an amazing venue. Love the screen. This is my second concert here and I love it. Venue is clean and organized. Pre-pay for parking and park right outside the Sphere. It's easy to get out and out of the strip. Thanks No Doubt and the Sphere!
Vegas: Day 1 No Doubt at the Sphere! I am usually not the person who records concerts. Much like fireworks, I've always felt they're one of those "you had to be there" experiences. But the Sphere completely changed that for me. This was my first concert at the Sphere, and it was unlike anything I've ever experienced. The visuals, the sound, the immersion--it felt like being transported into another world. I found myself recording parts of it simply because it was too incredible not to capture. And No Doubt absolutely crushed it. Gwen Stefani owned that stage from the moment she stepped out. Her energy was nonstop, her voice sounded amazing, and she somehow looks just as incredible in person as she does on TV. Seriously... #NoFilter. I can honestly say I'm forever spoiled now. After experiencing a concert at the Sphere, I don't know how I'm supposed to go back to a regular venue again. Food/drinks - decent number of options. We got nori fries and a pizza. after eating secret pizza though, this pizzia is kinda just ok. we also got some slushies in the commemorative cups, but they were selling this cute sphere cup too. Seats - we sat on the lower level, but not the floor. which was cool because we were close enough to see the band but also got to have seats. im too old to be standing the whole time. but i kinda wish we got to sit in the upper level cuz they got stuff dropped on them from the ceiling! Sound - pretty good. Screen - depends on who you see im guessing. we saw no doubt and they created a special visual that worked with the sphere.
For the professional conference that I attended part of the program was the last night in Las Vegas party that they gave. This party consisted of a live concert by DJ Idris Elba (our Brand Ambassador and renowned DJ and Actor) and the most awesome Backstreet Boys! Let me tell you that the moment you come into the sphere it is absolutely amazing. There are LED lights everywhere to highlight any theme that someone wants to present. They're beautiful escalators led lights they're wonderful and beverage concessions everything is so well lit up and beautiful when you get into The Sphere as an attendee. Fast-forward to the concert OMG! The fiber optics and LED display inside of this concert. Venue is AMAZING!! the seats vibrate and you also get a wonderful sound experience as if you are in an actual movie or some type of a Hollywood production. The performers and the graphics everything was amazing. The music was fantastic. I absolutely and wholeheartedly recommend coming here for any type of performance whether it be a concert or a movie or a DJ or anything. This place is absolutely amazing. Thank you ServiceNow for my first experience at The Sphere, it was TOTALLY AWESOME!
Wizard of Oz show. Our first visit to the Sphere Easy Ubering in and out So no worries there If you bring a backpack, expect to locker it during the show for $10. Legroom when you sit down in your seat.....non-existent. Beware 6 foot gentleman.....suck it up and enjoy the show Definitely a bucket list occasion. Plenty of food and drink options prior to entry Be very careful getting to your seat, steep stairs and many vertigo opportunities here so help the older folks every step please
Since the Sphere opened, I've now been there three times. My first visit was for Postcard From Earth by Darren Emerson, followed by Illenium and No Doubt. I'll be honest -- while Postcard From Earth was a genuinely impressive immersive experience and interacting with the Tesla robots beforehand was a lot of fun, I wasn't completely sold on it at first. The ticket price felt high for what you get. It's probably worth it if you're a tourist visiting Vegas every so often, but for locals, it might not be. That said, seeing a concert at the Sphere is an entirely different level. The visuals are absolutely mind-blowing and incredibly difficult to describe to anyone who hasn't experienced it in person. Both Illenium and No Doubt put on fantastic shows, and I'm already looking forward to seeing more there. On the parking front: if you park at Treasure Island (TI) and walk over, it's free. At the Venetian or Palazzo, it's a flat fee of about $25-$30. I'm not sure what the Sphere's own lot charges, but since it's outdoor parking, I wasn't interested.
If you get tickets for something at the Sphere, it's going to be a splurge. But when they say it's a once in a lifetime opportunity, it really is. I saw the Backstreet Boys here in August and it was amazing. We had nosebleed seats but even then, they were still great seats. In fact the higher up you go, the better because you get a wider view of all the screens, which really is the main purpose of visiting the Sphere - to see all of the cool visuals. We took an Uber there, which was a bit of a nightmare because there really is only one way to the Sphere, which caused a lot of traffic. We didn't account for this so we didn't have enough time to take photos outside or to really walk around inside, so just be sure to leave yourself ample time before a show. They also said it's cold in there but I guess it depends on what you're seeing. If it's a concert, you're likely going to be standing up/moving around/dancing a lot, so I felt fine in my sleeveless top and long pants. After the show, it's also a bit of a nightmare to get out. They force you and herd you like cattle through a corridor to get to the Venetian, which is connected. Maybe there was a way to get in through the Venetian but again, we didn't have enough time to find out since we just Ubered straight there. Other than the getting in/getting out situation, the experience was amazing. I would definitely want to see another show here so if you ever get the chance to, you should take it. read more
I saw the Wizard of Oz at the Sphere. There are not enough words to express - how out of this world this experience was. Everyone needs to see this show or any show in the Sphere. The Sphere has out of this world viewing points. The drinks and snacks were super refreshing and reasonable. You can't get lost in this place because at ever turn there was someone helping you find your way. So excited to book my next adventure at the Sphere! read more
Seeing The Wizard of Oz at Sphere was 100% worth the fee. However, it was a one and done for me. All of the chairs have haptics (they shake at various times) and the seating is tilted, which is fine for many people, but I saw a number of people struggling to get up the stairs. There are fun effects - a bunch of leaf blowers and fans (the leaves are paper), there were remote controlled butterflies that flew in front of the screen, and RC flying monkeys over the heads of the viewers. There were pyrotechnics that are lame in my opinion. The movie is cut from 102 minutes down to 75. I started to fall asleep at least 6 times. The movie is altered both digitally and musically. That made the experience less memorable for me. I guess I just love the movie as it was and the changes took away from my enjoyment. There were several different vendors on each floor for show merchandise, Sphere merchandise, food, popcorn, candy, water, soda, and adult beverages too. The ground floor had a bunch of great selfie and group photo opportunities - screens, show displays, the wizard's booth, the wizard's hall, the Omaha hot air balloon. It was an exceptional overall experience- something I will always remember and cherish. I just don't see myself going back. The lights were also never fully dimmed - great for security, but not for seeing a movie, because you're never really able to immerse yourself in the moviegoing experience. It is worth it to go at least once. read more
If you haven't been to the Sphere yet, I highly recommend you check it out! We had the opportunity to see a showing of The Wizard of Oz - I was blown away! I can only imagine how a concert would be like there. The VIP Bad Witch package gave us access to a VIP Lounge and hour before showtime. Snacks and finger foods were provided along with special souvenir posters. If you have any motion sickness issues - be aware. There were parts of the movie where we had to look away momentarily. The facility is amazing. The staff are friendly and helpful. Even the food and drinks were good. Granted, tickets are expensive! But the experience was great! read more

Amazing venue. Security was smooth and so was getting tickets scanned. I love that they had merch and food and beverage on every level. The main stage and effects during the concert are unreal. I saw BSB and it was by far the best concert I've ever been to! read more

Highly recommend parking at the Palazzo near the casino elevator in the yellow building. From there, just follow the digital billboards with arrows to the Sphere. They lead you past the Wizard of Oz display, which is a fun spot to stop for a quick picture, and then across the bridge. They do a really good job managing people traffic, pausing some groups so everyone can get in and out safely. The Sphere sends an email ahead of time letting you know that the bridge doesn't open until about 45 minutes before the show and that only small bags are allowed. If you bring a larger bag, you'll need to use a locker before entering, which runs about $10-$20 depending on size. Despite reminders etc there were some people upset they needed a locker. There are food options and bars inside, but they are a bit pricey, though not any more expensive than eating at the Venetian. A large slice at Pizza Rock was $14. My kids were able to share one slice, which held them over until we grabbed something later off the Strip. We sat in section 207, back right, and it was great. There was even a small divider between seats 12 and 13, which gave us extra space. This section also doesn't require climbing a ton of stairs, which was a big plus. While center seating is usually recommended, I would absolutely choose these seats again. There is an elevator, but with so many people trying to use it, I'd recommend just taking the escalator instead. read more
OMG....What an experience.... Totally immersive....Did not feel dizzy at all-however we had scolimine " patches... didn't need them at all...I have loved The Wizard Oz since my early years... It showed on regular TV every Easter...Could not wait.. ..This production was GENIUS " totally immersive and spectacular... Kudos to the production team...I cannot think of a better movie to do this... My one negative... OMG... The merch prices were way over the top... Bought a teeny apple keychain as a Christmas tree ornament ..As an older person who no longer collects things. The tiny apple keychain for $16 bucks was my limit.... read more
While in Vegas for a girls trip, we went to the sphere to see the Wizard of Oz! The show exceeded our expectations! The revised classic with the immersive experience was excellent! There were many smiles and excitement from the tornado, to the house dropping, butterflies, snow on the poppy field and angry apple orchard apple tossing and the flying monkeys just to name a few! Finally, there is no place like home ! click click A lot of attention to detail all around ! There were people who dressed up as characters which made it fun. I only wore ruby shoe earrings and a t shirt that said it's all about the shoes ! Hahaha. Fun night out ! Definitely recommend seeing the wizard of oz or another show at the Sphere!! read more
Such an awesome place to go see a concert, especially if you're in GA with a full unobstructed view! The visuals and interactions you get with each new show are awesome. From falling apples at the OZ, to the wind storms and tumbling ground at Zach Brown, to the intense graphics of U2. There's always a surprise to your senses. The prices vary WILDY depending on where you choose to sit, so the les obstruction to your view... The more expensive it is (unless you choose to stand in the GA section) Drinks are Vegas standard (super expensive) want a double? You're paying $50 so maybe pre-gaming is a good idea if you don't want to cough up hundreds for just 4 drinks. Highly suggest taking an Uber or walking to the Sphere to avoid traffic. read more

This is not like anything else. I had no idea how cool it would be until I went for myself. It's very uniquely designed and the graphics and sound is incredible. The seats are decent, could definitely be a little wider and when we were high above it did feel a little scary but after a few minutes that feeling went away. We had a great time and coming here to see the visuals for anything is worth it itself. We parked at the Palazzo which will still require you to walk a good 10 minutes or so but we like getting our steps in. Parking was $30 for special event parking and that's cheaper than parking at the location. Will be back for sure. read more

Two stars at best, based solely on my experience. I paid a premium price for what Sphere considers prime seating for an immersive presentation, but the experience was repeatedly disrupted because staff breached their own published "no late seating" policy by allowing patrons to enter well after the show had already begun. This caused constant interruptions, repeated movement during the performance, and completely broke the immersive atmosphere we paid for. What was equally disappointing was the complete lack of staff presence or enforcement in the section once the disruptions started. Customers who spend significant money for premium seating should not have to manage repeated interruptions themselves. I escalated the issue to management afterward, hoping for meaningful customer recovery, but the response and proposed resolution were just as disappointing as the experience itself. Overall, I did not receive the premium experience that was advertised or paid for, and I left extremely dissatisfied with both the event and the handling of the complaint afterward. read more

Its beautiful, its unique and its candy for the senses. A country concert or any concert in a stadium is too big and impersonal for me these days. Like everything a little more intimate. When a band says Hello Las Vegas, I want to feel like they are talking to me. Havi g spent a decade helping produce live events, , i always avoided halftime football entertainment as it feels better on TV. Although not a country music goer, I knew this would be different. When you go to a traditional concert you want to be on the ground floor here. But the truly best seats are the second level. 3rd level is cheaper but if you are going to the Sphere you are better off in the third deck to feel the perspective of the large 3-d imagery. There is a little 4-D effect of shaking chairs. Hopefully these seats stand the test of time. For any concert this concert was pretty subdued -mostly because for half of the 19k crowd, he was just an ant down below yet projected as a giant on the huge screen in front of you Definitely a great place (it was a great concert). Also The Wizard of Oz is showing there now and it looks incredible. Imagine yourself running down the Yellow Brick Road with Dorothy! read more
Wow!!!! This needs to be on everybody's bucket list. What an experience. I don't want to give too much away, but still want you to be excited to see it yourself. I felt like I was immersed in a movie. I saw "The Eagles" concert there in Nov 2025. They say they will have more concerts in Jan, Feb and Mar of 2026. Make sure you get there at least 30 min before the show starts and watch the screen. We were in section 108. I read reviews about the steep stairways and small seats. We didn't experience either of those things, but it may pertain to sections 200+. From your seat you are looking at a screen a couple of hundred feet high and half of a curved sphere. The technical computerized images were incredible. I did have to wait in lines for the ladies room several times, but the line moved fairly quickly. There wasn't a line to speak of for drinks near our seats. If you are a math nerd take some time to look at all the math equations in the rotunda. Very cool. The traffic outside the Sphere was a mess because the Las Vegas Formula one was in less than 2 weeks and they had lots of streets shut down. Maybe it would be better on normal days. Overall, don't miss this experience!!!! read more

I was initially hesitant to watch the WIZARD OF OZ at the Sphere, but I decided to give it a try. I'm so glad I did! It's an incredibly immersive experience, as if you're actually in the movie. You can feel the wind and fire, feel the ground shake, and even see leaves and butterflies fall right in front of you. The amazing details that you can't see on even a large screen TV, such as ants crawling up a tree or birds flying incredibly high in the air, make it a truly remarkable experience!! read more
I had a great time at the Sphere to watch Wizard of Oz. Check in and security were straight forward and went by fast. SEVERAL of concession stands on each floor. Seating is magnificent but terrifying if you're afraid of heights. The sound and view is AMAZING. Nothing like you've ever seen before. It would be great if there was a variety of shows to see. read more

Somewhere Over the Rainbow... We Were There What can I even say about experiencing The Wizard of Oz premiere in Las Vegas The Sphere Las Vegas with my identical twin? ANTOINETTE JAMES A dream. A full-circle, heart-bursting, candy-coated, yellow-brick-road-of-a-dream! We've been obsessed with The Wizard of Oz since we were 4 years old -- I had every doll, from Dorothy to the Wicked Witch, the Emerald City playset, even the crystal ball. It's more than nostalgia... it's a lifelong love affair with the magic, the message, and the memories. And this year? My incredible twin sister surprised me with tickets to the premiere and a full birthday weekend in Vegas to celebrate US -- and let me tell you, it was unforgettable. Now listen... some might say: "Y'all are grown women dressing up?" And to that we say: YES. WE. ARE. Proudly, joyfully, and with zero apologies -- because we are the biggest kids at heart. We dressed up. We laughed. We shared our story in interviews. We took so many pictures with strangers who lit up just seeing us -- kids, grown-ups, you name it. It was nothing but hugs, smiles, joy -- the kind of joy this world needs more of. And don't even get me started on the sweets -- a dreamland of popcorn, candy apples, cake pops, flavored popcorn, chocolates, and a yellow brick road turned into a charcuterie board (yes, really). A kid's fantasy and an adult's sugar high -- worth every bite. A tons of food, from macaroni and cheese, Fried chicken wings, fries, chicken sandwiches and so much more!!! Through every storm, if you can find a moment to laugh, to smile, to share a little magic with the world -- do it. Please enjoy the photos and videos -- we hope they make you smile and remind you to celebrate the little things in life. And to my identical twin sister: Girl, you OUTDID yourself. Have seen two shows here. U2 virtual concert and Wizard of Oz. The venue is a nice refreshing option from the typical Vegas shows. Multi-sensoral approach and amazing screen makes it memorable. I liked the U2 concert more than the Wizard of Oz Movie, both the movie is still worth seeing. Sit in the lower level to catch apples! read more
We are back to the Sphere to see the Eagles tonight 10/11/25 and I'm super EXCITED to experience this concert!! The memorabilia is so cool and expensive like $50 for a tee shirt but who cares!! It's a once in a lifetime event! I love the improvements since April 2024 but I miss the AI robot experience. This is the best idea that anyone has ever had in Vegas or a concert venue!! it is off the charts PHENOMENAL This was hands down the BEST concert I've ever had the pleasure of attending and the Eagles sang and performed beautifully and their harmonies are infinitely better than ever! I love Deacon Frye and he is holds the magic spirit of his dad. Vince Gill is a true gift to this legendary band. It's worth every penny to experience this concert. read more

This is an excellent 4D movie experience. We had a lot of fun here. The only problem we ran into was very little room between rows and a lot of people showing up late or not listening to the ushers. They would rather disturb people after the movie start instead of going around and taking the short path to their seats. No problems with the forum, just tourists. If they have a movie you would like to watch in 4D, check them out. The cheap seats are just as good as the expensive ones. read more

This review is only for suite experience as I only stayed in the suite for Anyma, Eagles, BSB, and now Wizard of Oz. My best experience is Anyma, the screen design and the whole wow factor is unique and unbelievable. Wizard of Oz is my least favorite as the experience is not that special, merely an old movie on huge (180 degree) screen with some theater effects like falling apples, blowing winds, flying characters (not real human) and falling soak bubbles. But I have to shout out to all the servers inside the suite. They are all amazing and very helpful and professional. The food inside the suite is surprisingly nice: the best popcorn chicken I've had, really tasty chicken wings (deep fried style), empanadas, and the assorted desserts. The mediocre food items might be sushi and the wagyu burger slider. Among all the great things, the worst is definitely the traffic!! There are so many elder or handicapped audience who are totally suffering from the bad design of the traffic flow when they are (very often) forced to walk down the stairs or take longer walk outside on the street when Venetian closes their convention area. Wear your comfy shoes! And probably abide taking elder family members if they can't bear to walk. read more
After hearing many great reviews, went to see Wizard of Oz at the Sphere. What an incredible and creative show. The show was a simulation of all your senses, so technically and digitally creative. So worth the ticket price. If you're in town or planning to be, this is a must! read more
That place is magical. Went to see the wizard of oz there and it was a 4D experience worth the money and the hype. They also had a little after show for pics etc. the whole thing still feels surreal. We had seats a little high up to get the full effect of the movie. It wouldn't be best spots to see a live show. I also got vertigo bc it really was high and seats were tiny and very upright. I'm reviewing the Sphere from two angles: inside and outside--because they're two completely different experiences. Inside the Sphere: I went for the Backstreet Boys Millennium concert and had no idea what to expect. We've seen BSB a few times (including the Hollywood Bowl), so we knew we were in for a great show. But nothing prepares you for what the Sphere does to a concert. The show opened with us "riding" inside a massive spaceship, and from there it just kept escalating. Sitting in haptic seats, surrounded by a wraparound screen that feels endless, paired with an unreal sound system--it's indescribable. "Larger Than Life" suddenly was larger than life. I'm sharing a few photos, but honestly, photos don't even come close. You have to be in the room to understand the scale and sensation of it. Outside the Sphere: I stayed at the Palazzo on the 41st floor facing the Sphere and watching it from above is its own kind of entertainment. The exterior constantly changes--faces, animations, promos--it never stops. It became this running visual show I kept checking throughout the day and night. I'll let the photos speak for themselves. Bottom line: Everyone should experience the Sphere at least once. For me, a concert is the way to do it. I haven't seen Postcard from Earth yet, but from what I've read, it doesn't seem to deliver the same level of "wow" that a full-scale performance does. Wizard of Oz at The Sphere...YES PLEASE and THANK YOU! This was our first visit to The Sphere, and we were completely impressed. Ticket scanning and security was quick, yet efficient. The bartenders were super nice, and made great drinks. The lobby...OMG! I think I ran into three people just gawking at everything. The Sphere did a great job with special Wizard of Oz touches throughout. The seating inside the theater is comfy. The real star though is the actual experience. I'm still in awe. Without any spoilers, and being a lifelong Wizard of Oz fan, spend the money and go see it. Sit in the 300's and you will not be disappointed. We were in 307 and I got a special surprise. I had THE BEST time, and can't wait to bring my Mom and sister. read more
The Sphere is absolutely mind-blowing! Omg. The Sphere in Las Vegas was honestly one of the most mind-blowing experiences I've ever had. Yes, paying over $100 per person to watch The Wizard of Oz (the original classic, not Wicked) felt a bit steep at first--but once you're inside and experiencing the full 4D World setup, it suddenly makes complete sense. This is not a normal movie. It's like IMAX on steroids. If you're on the Strip, just walk into The Venetian and follow the signs to the Sphere. There's a long indoor walkway that takes you straight there, which is super convenient. One important note: they won't let you in until 45 minutes before showtime, so don't bother showing up too early. There isn't a comfortable lobby or seating right before you enter. Once inside, everything is super clean and modern. Restrooms, plenty of concessions (drinks, popcorn, etc.), and friendly staff everywhere. When you get to your seat--wow. Depending on where you sit, the experience can vary, but I actually recommend sitting high up in the 400 section. From that angle you can see the entire dome, which is key because... spoiler alert... the whole freaking Sphere is one massive screen. And if you're afraid of heights, good luck. The stairs are steep so I suggest you grab onto the handrails for dear life. During the movie it's easy to focus on the characters, but make sure you look up, down, and all around. The detail is amazing. The tornado sequence that lifts Dorothy's house out of Kansas was absolutely wild. Honestly, almost too loud--but clearly by design. It felt like the entire Sphere was shaking around you. The apples falling in the forest, the flying monkeys, the poppy field (snow falling from the ceiling!)--all of it was immersive, creative, and unlike any movie experience I've ever had. I haven't been to a concert here yet, so I can't compare, but for a classic film experience, this was unbeatable. If you're anywhere near Las Vegas and even remotely curious, go. It's worth the steep cost in my opinion. read more

A must-visit spot in Vegas. My family and I visited the Sphere to see 'The Wizard of Oz' at a 2:00pm showing. It is definitely something I think everyone should experience once for the novelty of it. We sat in Section 406, Row 15, seats 26-28 (aisle seats). These seats were a bit off to the side but were still relatively close to the center of the main screen. The seats themselves were comfy and cushiony. For this particular event at the Sphere, I would recommend sitting in the lower sections, closer to the center. I can see what the producers were going for, placing the characters at the bottom of the screen and warping the backgrounds. From the 400 sections, it feels like you are looking down at the characters and that the backgrounds are overly distorted. If you are sat lower, it would feel like you were walking with Dorothy down the Yellow Brick Road. It would feel like you were more immersed into the film if you were at their same level. You would also be able to experience the floating objects better and increase your odds of catching a falling apple. I would say that the sound quality was not great. At some parts, the sound was a bit empty and distorted. It was a bit hard to discern the dialogue because the sound was very distant. Regardless, the technology is very impressive. The effects align perfectly with the film. From the seats shaking to the wind blowing to the lighting, everything was awesome. The 400s sections are incredibly steep. Everybody was quite literally clinging onto the railings to get to and from their rows. If you are afraid of heights, I would be leery about sitting so high up. Being in the higher sections gives sort of the same feeling as standing next to a really tall ledge and looking over. Getting to the seats feels like a journey in itself. You'll need to go up a series of escalators that feel like they're taking you up into a spaceship. The lobby is dark with super cool lighting that truly creates an intergalactic ambience. The bathrooms were relatively clean and not busy prior to the showing. There are multiple bars/places to buy concessions or merchandise. There are TVs around the entire lobby with a count down to start time so you know how much time is left to get to your seat. Although busy, it was not difficult to move around or find your way. There are many staff members shouting and directly people on how to get to the theater. One thing I totally adored was the photo stations. There are multiple locations throughout the Sphere where you can take a photo of yourself with a background related to what is showing and have it sent to your email for free. Although I don't know how it would feel to be in the Sphere for a concert, I'm excited to see what else it has to offer. read more
The Wizard of Oz on the BIG BIG SCREEN! WOW!!!! What an experience. This is my hubby's favorite movie from his childhood. I am so glad we experienced this. The live 3D experience was worth every penny.the hurricane scene with the real wind, and the leaves that swirl around. No hesitation. Therapy is pricey, but a Backstreet Boys concert? That's affordable self-care. ;D Admiring the Sphere from the outside is one thing, but stepping inside for a concert is on a whole other level. Between the crooning of my pre-teen crushes and the breathtaking visuals, it was impossible not to be swept away. It felt like I had left Earth entirely. Somewhere on another timeline, a Joyce dressed in white, daisy choker decorating her neck, and butterfly clips in her hair is bouncing softly with every beat, still swaying, still singing every lyric, bathed in the radiant warmth of August 23rd. The honmoon was gold. My seats were in the 300 Section but I think 200s and maybe 100s would have been nice to fully enjoy the stage and the visuals of the Sphere. As someone who's sustained/survived being internally decapitated & consequently has lots of hardware in my neck, what section would you recommend I sit in?
205-208 or 305-308 so you can look directly at the screen in front of you. They are more centered and you will have a full direct view of the panoramic screen.
Taking 2 elderly handicapped ladies to the show on Thursday. We are Ubering down, is there an entrance to be dropped off or how do I get them to the show?

Is there restaurants and good food at the sphere?
You can order fast food at the Sphere. Ie. chicken tenders, chips, etc… The Sphere is also attached to the Venetian Hotel with an all indoor walkway, so you can go to their restaurants and food court, pre and post show too.
Section 210 first row or section 203 6 rows back - what seats do you think would be better?
I would always choose the first row. Sat first row center in 300's and it was ideal.
Can I buy tickets at The Sphere on the day of the showing for Postcards from Earth?
Yes, but it is better to buy ahead of time online so you can choose your seats and to make sure they are not sold out for the day. There are discount vendors online such as Vegas.com where you can purchase tickets cheaper.
Are kids 2yo allowed? And if so what's the best show for them to see?
I don't know what their official rules are, but I think a two-year-old would be overwhelmed by the Sphere experience in any capacity. It is loud, flashing lights...could be scary.
Are they really strict with the bag dimension?

The sphere requires a very complex camera for all footage used inside so they currently only have one movie--Postcard from Earth. I hope to see more movies in there soon!
Are security lines a long wait or do they move pretty quickly?

Has anyone parked at the adjacent H parking lots? Is it a very long walk to/from the Sphere? Going after F1 & reserved onsite parking but Sphere refunded due to F1. If having difficulty walking, park at Venetian or H lots (H1 better?) -w/c better?
The parking and traffic around the Sphere is gridlock on event nights. You're better off parking further away and walking. We were at Paris and walked - it was easy and beats sitting in traffic.
Where are the bathrooms and emergency exits?

What time should I arrive for the U2 show?
I stayed at Paris. Definitely recommend walking. Traffic is a stand-still before and after the show.
Are they strict on the purse policy of 6 by 6?
My purse was slightly bigger...maybe 6"x8"? & I had no issues going thru with it. I thought they'd make me open the purse & check but they just had everyone go thru the metal detectors.
