Show was good-nice editing to make it shorter....effects were fun BUT.... several things were not really managed well ...the wait to get in and the organization to go in is chaotic.... The bag policy "strictly enforced" according to everything online it said you needed a bag that was 6 x 6 x 2.... It even said if your bag was oversized, you would have to take it to a locker and lock it up ....So prior to going ...I did everything I could to find a bag that would hold my phone that would be 6 x 6 x 2.... Show up using a bag that was tiny ...get to the show and there are people with all sizes of bags, including one woman who had a Target shopping bag ...nothing was checked. No one was stopped. If you're going to mandatory have a rule, then follow through. I agree with many reviews when you get there the chairs are so high!!! great to see the show but horrible to go up and down the stairs. read more

4.2.26 - Came back again for Illenium/Slander. Merch and drink lines on ground floor were long. I recommend going on a different level for those. My cousin spent $110 for 1 Jameson coke, 1 rum & coke and a double shot of whiskey, which was overpriced. Our seats were in 407, row 8, seats 20-21. After experiencing the show in both section 207 and 407, I would recommend the 305/306/307 sections. But, if in 207 or 407, go for seats 1-10 (closer to the center). It was my cousin's first Illenium show at the Sphere and first time at the Sphere in general. He loved it! Im glad I was able to attend this event twice! read more

PROS: this is by far the best movie theatre I ever went to! The sound, the seats rumbling, the huge fans, apples fell from the ceiling, human monkey dummies flew around!! This was an amazing experience for any wizard of oz fan! This place holds concerts as well CONS: the oz movie was overpriced, starting at $120 per ticket. If you enjoyed the Wizard of Oz as a kid, then definitely go. It has been so many years since I last saw it on TV, that I didn't miss the parts they cut out too much although it did seem shorter. We were in section 305, row 16, seats 24/25 - close to the middle. Good seats and not the crazy expensive ones. My husband caught a foam apple, and I touched one. The blowing leaves did come up to our section. Before the show, there were some mini spheres in the lobby you could get pictures with - the house in Kansas, the Cowardly Lion. After the show there is a Wizard of Oz short interactive performance and you can get pictures with the performers. For the AI parts, yes sometimes Dorothy's face was clear and the people around her were blurred, but the detail you could go see and the sheer scale was almost like you were there yourself. The special effects like the chairs rumbling for the tornado, wind effects of crepe paper leaves flying around for the tornado, and foam red apples dropping from the ceiling were fun. The red foam apple has the "Wizard of Oz" logo on it ,and it is a really well-made apple with a brown stem and calyx at the bottom and green leaf. It was such a silly thing, but I really wanted one and you can only get them by catching one, so I was very happy my husband caught one. Growing up watching "Wizard of Oz" on our little TV, it was great to see the detail in Dorothy and the Wicked Witch's face when it is larger than movie screen size. Seeing the colorful Land of Oz through Dorothy's open door or the Emerald City towering over you like you are really walking up to it was thrilling. The sound system provides 3D sound, and I couldn't help my body bouncing as I heard the familiar songs "Follow the Yellow Brick Road" and "We're Off to See the Wizard." We arrived around 7:30 pm for the 8:00 pm show. It took us longer than we thought to walk from the Cosmopolitan. Most of the people it seemed were arriving 5 or 10 minutes before 8 pm. If you are going to see the show, stay at the Venetian since you can walk there directly -it is attached to the hotel convention center area. There were some moving walkways which made the long walk easier. It did take us some time to find our way out of the Shops at the Venetian to get to the Strip. read more

We went to the Sphere to see the Wizard of Oz with our kids. I went to the Back Street Boys at the Sphere a few months prior and was blow away by the show and the sphere itself. We were in town again, this time with our kids so we got tickets for Wizard of Oz! The Sphere is just so cool, I wanted my kids to experience it! The visuals and the sounds are fantastic. It's immersive in a way that's just spectacular. The falling leaves, apples, snow, and wind were so fun during the movie. The seating is definitely steep, but that's what makes it what it is. There's really not a bad seat in the house because of the design. My kids loved the movie. We got the souvenir cups and snacks before the start. After the movie in the lobby they have characters from the Emerald City do a show with the Wizard. The kids enjoyed that as well. We then walked through the tunnel to the Venetian to check out the Wizard of Oz photo spots in the waterfall atrium. We bought a parking pass for the sphere so you have up to 2 hours after the show before you have to move your car. Can't wait for our next show at the Sphere! read more

Finally made my way to the Sphere to see Wizard of Oz and it was a super cool experience! I took my daughter on her 13th birthday and we had a blast! I am not going to share too many details (as I know others have already done so), but I am sharing a few photos and videos. I wish it didn't have to be so expensive but that seems to be the way of the world right now. Even so, I would consider returning for other shows in the future at this venue. The staff does a decent job moving the lines through the building on the way in and out and there are refreshments available too. This is for the Wizard of Oz at the Sphere. If you can go, do it. I've watched the original 1939 movie many times since I was a kid (many years ago), but it was exciting and thrilling to see in such a huge format with enhanced backgrounds, great audio and different effects. It's an experience. It's not inexpensive - and they cut some out of the movie (although it does cut out some of the lines I remember that I enjoy, it doesn't affect the story line) - but it is a unique experience. In the future, I understand they are planning to run Rocky Horror Picture Show. I expect that would also be a great experience here in the Sphere. read more

My husband and I were treated to a visit to the Sphere. Such a memorable experience! Our group first had lunch that included sliders, fruits, vegetables, pretzels with cheese, and several appetizers walked around by the servers. Wizard of Oz cocktails were passed out and the bar served draft beers and cocktails. The group spaces included a few collection pieces such as ruby slippers, outfits, and news articles. Our seats were in the 200 level. We realized the curtain at the front of the room was a projection. Throughout the show we loved the "live effects" from wind and leaves to flames and flying monkeys. I smiled the entire show and loved watching how the show was brought to life. I was able to notice things on screen that I've never spotted during watching the film at home. read more

This first part is a review for the Sphere Backstreet Boys concert general admission. First, show was amazing and obviously you know what you're getting into when you purchase general admission tickets, but I feel like they packed us in a little tight and they could've sold less tickets for that area. What an outstanding entertainment experience!!! The Sphere is huge inside and out! We went to see the Wizard of Oz! I wasn't expecting to be BLOWN AWAY but I totally was! The experience is so hard to explain. The vividness of the effects of the visuals and audios as well as special effects make you feel as your part of the show! We did get there early enough to get some snacks and they actually have a pretty good Scicilian Pizza Slice. Adult Beverages are available as well as sodas and other snacks the prices are on the higher side! And of course plenty of Souvenir Shops. What an absolutely stunning venue! I visited Sphere, the world's largest spherical structure, with my husband for a concert and it was such an amazing experience. Navigating through the venue was super easy and straightforward. There was plenty of signage all over the place, so it's almost impossible to get lost. The process of getting in (scanning our mobile tickets, doing a bag check if needed, and going through security) was very smooth. Even though there were thousands of people, there were also more than enough lines to move everyone through quickly and at ease. Once you're inside, you get a unique, fully immersive experience. I was so impressed with the 160,000 sq ft LED display, interior haptic seats, 4D effects, and spatial audio system. I was seated at the 400 level, which is the highest seating area in the venue. This section is superior, as I had an excellent view of the entire screen and excellent sound quality from my seat. For me, this section did not feel too high or scary at all. Definitely put visiting Sphere on your bucket list if you have not visited yet. The venue is even cool to observe from the outside, as the LED exterior displays appealing visuals. read more

The sphere was nice but the seating I git did not have the full view of the visuals which was a bummer. We recently saw Kenny Chesney at the Sphere, and it was one of the most unique concert experiences we've ever had. The immersive visuals are incredible and add so much to the show. Pictures and videos really don't do it justice--you have to experience it in person. Ticket prices were definitely on the expensive side, but we were able to find seats in Section 110 with a "restricted view." In our case, that simply meant we were a couple of rows behind the overhang, so we couldn't see the very top of the dome. For a concert, though, it honestly didn't matter to us. We had a great view of the stage, which was what we cared about most, and we still got to enjoy the amazing visuals. The seats were also comfortable and had plenty of room. We arrived early, and I'm glad we did because there was plenty to see and do before the concert started. It helped build the excitement and made the overall experience even better. One thing to keep in mind is that it's a long walk to get into and out of the venue. We cut through the Venetian, which I highly recommend, especially since it was 110° outside and the indoor route was much more comfortable. The moving walkways weren't operating when we were there, so be prepared for quite a bit of walking. Leaving after the concert was also very crowded, with what seemed like only a few exits funneling everyone in the same direction. During the concert, someone a few rows in front of us became sick. While it took around 15-20 minutes, the staff came through, cleaned everything up professionally, and handled the situation with as little disruption as possible. The guests involved never returned to their seats, so I assume the venue was able to relocate or otherwise assist them. Overall, we had an amazing time and would absolutely go back for another concert. The Sphere is an unforgettable venue, and if you have the opportunity to see a show there, it's well worth it. read more

Came here for a Tuesday afternoon screening of The Wizard of Oz at The Sphere with a friend. This is the first time for both of us at The Sphere. Tickets were expensive even sitting more towards the back, but the whole experience was really fun and I'd say worth it checking out at least once. It was a pretty immersive experience that they definitely put a lot of time, money, and effort into. I loved the The Wizard of Oz at The Sphere display at The Venetian - I got some nice pics there. Inside of The Sphere - the displays/decorations, gift shops, and and actors putting on a performance after the show - it was a pretty wondeful experience. I loved the movie as a kid, and got so nostalgic watching it! During and after the show, I even started shopping for somewhere that sells red glitter shoes like Dorothy's since I had a pair as a kid. I was looking for cute earrings of the red ruby slippers, but the gift shop didn't have any - that would've been adorable. Expensive and overpriced, but fun to check out just once. The theater itself - seating is pretty tight and not the most comfortable. I intentionally bought aisle seats because of this, but we still had to keep getting up so people could get in/out of their seats.I also noticed how no one bought tickets to sit up closer since those were too expensive. As usual with Vegas being Vegas now - they're playing their usual rip off the tourist trap, making us pay $25 for Sphere parking, but its not even all day, we have to leave after the show. We parked at The Venetian and walked since the signs weren't clear and told us to walk outside in the hot sunny 105degF desert weather from Venetian to the Sphere on Sands Ave. It wasn't until the walk back that we saw there was a nice air conditioned indoor tunnel connecting The Sphere to The Venetian. But I later noticed one of the emails I got from ticketmaster said that the pedestrian entryway was closed before my show anyways. read more

We came here to watch The Wizard of Oz, 2pm show on 8/12/26. The walkway inside from Palazzo to the Sphere was closed because of a convention, so you had to leave Palazzo and walk on the street to get there. It was a pretty long walk in the Vegas heat. Once you got there, it was amazing to see the Sphere up close. We picked section 406, row 12 because we didn't want to spend too much, and the view was amazing! I think there isn't a bad seat in all the sections. The place was about half full, and no, the apple didn't fall into our section! If you want to catch one, you'll have to sit at least in row 8 or more forward. You can always buy one for $10. The show was pretty impressive, and if you're watching it with kids, make sure they know it's going to be loud! Really loud, and bring a jacket or coat because it's going to be cold! Overall, it was a great experience watching it, and the staff were very helpful and directed us where to go before and after the show. I wouldn't watch it again, haha, once is enough. Oh, stay until the credit ends, most of the people already left and you will have a prefect opportunity for a nice photo of the theater with the show background. read more

I went to see No Doubt at the Sphere. I recommend to avoid the back row seats in the 100 sections as your vision of the entire screen will be cut off. The show was good and I thought it was great how much Gwen Stefani interacts with her fans. My experience was pretty easy. I had someone drop me off by the west side of The Sphere. There is a stairway that leads up to the upper walkway. At the top of the stairs, if you go right you'll be going through the walkway that takes you to the Venetian. If you turn left you are at the security line to enter into The Sphere. The lines moved quickly and going through security was easy. Once you are inside of The Sphere you are at the main level. This level has concession and merchandise areas. There's plenty of staff that will let you know where to go based on your ticket. What's nice is they will allow you to bring an empty water bottle so you can fill it up from their water fountain. I didn't know this before and I ended up paying over $8 for a small bottle of water. read more

**This review is based on Wizard of Oz.** Immersive like I've not previously experienced ... except for Rise of the Resistance at Disney World. I totally felt like I was part of the movie. Everyone talks about catching an apple (I caught one), but the sound and video here are just as amazing. Everywhere you look, you see part of the scene. Add in vibrating seats, high winds, leaves, apples and snow -- not to mention robotic butterflies and real characters who pose as flying monkeys -- and you become part of the action. I came for the illenium show and I was blown away! We walked from the linq and walked through the Venetian. It was really easy to get in and out. They had signs all throughout the Venetian showing you were to go. The Sphere didn't feel overcrowded and the staff were nice. We were in the 200s and it was perfect. Had the opportunity to see "No Doubt" in concert at the Sphere. First things first, this experience has probably ruined future concerts for me. I have attended a lot of Shows in my life at all types of venues and this blew them away. I like "No Doubt" and enjoy their music, but was not expecting to walk out loving them. They took us down memory lane with the music, the interviews, videos and personal reveals from the heart. You start with a walk-through of the pop-up museum with all types of exhibits/sets with photo opportunities. You also have a chance to grab some Band gear. From there you can to the Sphere from the Casino to the gates. Once inside you can either go to your seats or explore the food & beverages that are available. They have a huge info board with all the different food choices on each level. They do have standing tables available, not a lot, but a great way to meet other concert attendees if willing to share space. We ordered a Smash Burger that with Fries and a giant pepper for under $20. The Burger was delicious, way better than expected. The wait time was minimal and the Staff was super friendly and helpful. Overall, 1) Security, Staff and everyone we came into contact with were great 2) Facilities were clean, stocked and our seats were comfortable and spaced enough that even I did not feel cramped (I am pretty big guy). 3) Sound System was unbelievable, along with imagery and videos. The music was clear and u could feel the bass in your body. 4) Our seats were lower 103 which made a difference as the higher seats seemed to have some blockage of the whole show. Rows higher in our section, not sure about higher levels. 5) Exiting the Show was smooth despite the crowd. The museum was open and less crowded so went through again to see what we may have missed due to so many fans 6) we parked at the casino, getting out was crazy, very slow & aggravating. The parking was really my only complaint other buying water ($$$) then being told they had to remove the caps. We bought at beverage Vender station. When we bought our food, we saw that they did not remove the caps so not sure what the rule is. $8 water with no cap was a pain. We did get a cool souvenir cup. Once again, the Sphere experience was amazing, it will ruin you. read more

OMG I was so excited to come here for the first time! My family came here before to watch the Wizard of Oz and they enjoyed how beautiful the visuals looked from the 400s section. Recently, I came here with friends for a concert experience for Illenium to enjoy the Sphere myself. The bass and the speakers were very loud and I really liked that I could hear the performers clearly through the mic and the speakers weren't blown out or anything despite the noise level. The seats vibrate due to the bass, it was amazing! The seats were pretty comfy and firmly-cushioned with good leg room. You can sit to relax your legs and still have a good view of the sphere even if the row in front of you is standing and dancing due to the seat decline. PS We were seated in the 100s section. My friends who went to the same show on a different night had some motion sickness being on the 400s (definitely do not recommend if you have a fear of heights). Overall a great experience and was a pleasure to enjoy!!! I never actually used the restrooms here because the women's line for them were extremely long. I would rather walk to the hotel casinos nearby and use the bathrooms there. read more

This place is WILD! I'd love to watch a "how it's made" Discovery Channel episode on this thing. Going in, it was clearly marked and had separate lines for bag checks and whatnot. Though their site clearly states that they have a strict restriction on bag size, this is not strict. We took in reasonably small bags (9x4.5x2.5) and they waved us through without even opening them. It was SO NICE! So relieving! I was stressing about not being able to bring a bag and in a place like Vegas, you have several bare minimum items that require the use of a bag. Concert venues need to be at least semi-reasonable and I'm glad I risked it with my bag rather than risk losing my phone, wallet, keys, or glasses. Please stay this way, Sphere! You're in a tourist location. Half of people's phones don't even meet the measurements. The food and drink is your typical severely overpriced, like most venues nowadays as well as everywhere else in Vegas. Eat and drink beforehand. We saw Kenny Chesney and it was a phenomenal show. He is always ten pounds of fun in a five pound bag, but this was on another level. The graphics and optical illusions mixed with the seat vibrations made it more than a concert... it was a full blown ride! The only negative thing I thought about it was the leaving process. You get shoved out of there and not let back in on any level (we took the stairs) in order to use the bathrooms after the show ends. Then we came out far behind it away from the Strip side, causing us to walk a country mile all while dying for a loo. You don't get to one soon at all going that way! They didn't let people up the stairs to get to the skywalk thing either to go back into the hotel so we were forced to do the long walk. We'll certainly plan better next time when it comes to that. read more

The Sphere is truly a world-class facility and easily one of the most impressive venues I've ever experienced. Everything feels modern, well-designed, and incredibly clean--including the bathrooms, which are well-maintained even during large events. The seating is surprisingly spacious and comfortable, though the layout is definitely steep. That said, the incline actually works in your favor since it gives you a clear view from almost anywhere in the venue. Honestly, there are no bad seats in the Sphere, but the sweet spot is probably in the center 300 sections for the best overall experience. One of the most convenient features is the ability to walk to the Sphere through the ballrooms at the Venetian, so you don't even have to step outside--huge plus, especially during extreme Vegas weather. I've attended two events here--Illenium and The Wizard of Oz--and both were unforgettable in completely different ways. The venue elevates every type of show with its immersive visuals and sound. Once inside, everything is easy to navigate. The entrances are well-organized, and crowd flow feels smooth, even with large numbers of people. Overall, the Sphere sets a new standard for live entertainment. Whether it's a concert or a cinematic experience, it's absolutely worth visiting. read more

I came back to the Sphere to see one of my favorite movies...The Wizard of Oz. The added footage -- did Munchinland have mountains? Were there ever so many butterflies? -- are fun and serve to fill in the gigantic screen. Has the tornado scene ever been so foreboding or terrifying? Have you been pelted with apples during the forest scene before? These fun additions as well as improved color and sound make sure that audiences can appreciate the film. I added a star as the entry into the Sphere from my previous visit is much improved. The crowd seemed much more manageable and the lines moved quickly. It was a bit of a walk to find my ride share but once I found the pickup point it went quickly. There was also some rumble-action going on in the seats so it really felt like we were riding a spaceship. The way BSB utilized the screen for their concert blew me and the SO away. So many cool visuals and use of the stage (they started levitating at one point!). Crowd organization is alright, it got a little crazy after the show. There is only one pair of escalators to each level so everyone was herded out in phases. It's been over a month since the show and I still get flashbacks to how great it was. My first visit to the sphere was to watch the Wizard of Oz. A small part of me thought it wasn't going to be worth going to watch a movie I've seen a couple dozen times growing up. I'm so glad we gave it a shot. This was a completely different experience with the heart of the story fully intact. It was incredible looking around at all of the details and how they expanded the screen to make you feel like you were immersed in the land of Oz. I knew it was "interactive" but it was so fun being swept up in the tornado with the wind and leaves, trying to catch a falling apple, the flying monkeys swooping around us. I felt like a child wondering "wow, how did they do that?!" Concessions (at least the one I went to) were self service, grab what you want and self checkout. There were multiple spots to buy merch outside of the big one. There were a few photo op spots before the show but the magic really picked up after. The wizard pops in and there's a few moments he brings the crowd into it. I was just enthralled in all of the details. I will definitely come back to the sphere for another show in the future. read more

Attended a fantastic "No Doubt" concert at the Sphere Las Vegas. The venue has multiple floors, multiple areas to get drinks and purchase apparel. Our usher helped us to our seats and we enjoyed the show. The prices for drinks are pretty steep, $50 for a Vodka soda, but they came with commemorative cups. When the concert ends, they do direct you outside to the public streets which was a little inconvenient since we were staying at the Palazzo and would have preferred to leave the venue and go back yo the hotel. read more
