The menu had a wide variety of vegetarian and non-vegetarian noodle and rice dishes. I'd definitely recommend trying a noodle dish as they're known for hand pulling the noodles. Went here with like 6 people two weeks ago. Cold damp night. When you walk in there is the pleasant smell of the herbal soups. Certainly, whetted the appetite. We weren't seated right away. Be aware that larger parties might require a bit more time to be seated. We started off with some crab rangoons. A guilty pleasure. Crispy with the imitation crab meat and a sweet and sour sauce. I'd argue it's not pretty, it's not elegant, but it does sate a need for cheese in the standard American when you're at a Chinese spot. Feel free to skip the item. I was happy with it though. The cucumbers were a tasty side dish. Refreshing and flavorful with a sweet soy sesame sauce. Definitely a good portion and perfect for sharing. Still one of my favorite place to get noodle soup. The broth is so flavorful, if you can take the spice I always recommend to add the extra for Szechuan spice $ it's worth the money imo. I get the veggie a tofu and it's so filling. I always have leftovers. If you can't decide between knife shave or hand drawn , you can't go wrong. Decent vegetarian options - we got the stir fried veggie hand-pulled noodles and the sesame tofu (server told us usually it has shellfish but he could have it made without). The noodles were actually pretty tasty, not greasy or oily and spiced just right (we got mild but it still had a slight kick). However, I felt like I could smell something fishy in them so was slightly put off. The sesame tofu had good flavor but the sauce was very gelatinous - clumped together a bit and felt gooey in a bad way, maybe too much cornstarch to thicken it? It's quite possible this place just became my favorite hand drawn noodle place in Chinatown. I'm a big fan of Nan Zhou. I'll always be a big fan of Nan Zhou. Spice C was a very nice experience for us. We were just wandering around China town and decided to pop in for dinner on a Sunday night. My wife got the sesame chicken. She was disappointed you couldn't do a side of fried rice but the chicken was cooked perfectly nice crispy crunch to it and the sauce had good flavor. I had the treasure stir fry with the hand pulled noodles this was great, I loved the flavors and there was a solid amount of meats shrimp were kinda small, but the noodles were the star of the show best noodles in an Asian dish I've had. The servers are pretty attentive and quick. I ordered the Wonton Soup, specifically with the hand-drawn noodles, and the Crab Cheese Rangoon. The Crab Cheese Rangoon was super delicious! It was very warm when it came out and it had the perfect amount of filling inside; the sauce, which I believe was sweet and sour or a sweet chili, was also good. I will say that I am not a big Chinese noodles gal just because I do not really like the spices and flavors that are in those dishes, such as star anise. With that being said, I ordered the Wonton Soup and I did not like it a lot, but that is on me for the dish I picked knowing my taste buds. However, the wontons were pretty juicy and savory. The broth itself was flavorful but the noodles, although fresh, seemed to lack flavor. My husband got the stir fry noodles with beef which was quite bland. They charge an extra 4% for card payments, so it's better to bring cash. They have so many noodle soup and stir fry noodle options. We ordered the dumplings (boiled and fried), wonton soup, Three Treasures noodle soup, and Three Treasures stir fry. - The dumplings were good. The skin was just the right thickness, and there was a good amount of filling. There were only 6 pieces, but they were pretty big. - The won ton soup was okay. It came with 4 large wontons. The broth was light and refreshing, but the wontons themselves were just okay. I couldn't taste much of the pork filling, and the skin was a bit too thick for my liking. - The hand pulled noodles were chewy and not too thick, which I like. The Three Treasures stir fry dish was delicious. My friend who got the noodle soup version of the Three Treasures noodles seemed to have a bit more beef. They charge an extra ~$1.75 for the mala soup base. Between the hand-pulled noodle soups at Nan Zhou and the ones at Luscious Dumplings, we liked the noodle soup here the best. The broth here was richer than the broth at Nan Zhou, and the noodles were less doughy than the noodles at Luscious Dumplings. I saw some comparisons between this place and Nan Zhou, and I personally would come here over Nan Zhou. I got the roast duck noodle soup w shaved noodles and it was huge and came w plenty of meat - I am a spice wimp so the server told me to not get the spicy broth and get the regular broth --which I enjoyed. My bf got the fish noodle soup w the spicy stock and he really loved it. I tried a spoonful of his and it was too spicy for me so I made the right choice. His soup came w sooo much fish. The service was good- menu questions answered, dietary accommodations made, water refilled, food came pretty quickly. I got the hand-drawn noodles with shrimp. It was a lot of noodles and enough shrimp. I was disappointed, however, because I asked if the dish came with vegetables in it and was told it did. The vegetables on my plate consisted of a few scallions and shreds of carrot, maybe a bean sprout or two. That's not what I had in mind and would have ordered differently had I known. The chicken on a stick appetizers came out fresh & hot and were a great size for an appetizer. The chicken tore away easily and was juicy.
