Stopped in for dinner for some dim sum. Relaxed spot with a nice ambiance and quick staff. Ordered seaweed salad, pork dumplings, shrimp shumai, and soup dumplings. Seaweed salad was tasty and fine size to share for two people as an appetizer. Just the right amount of pickled flavor. Pork dumplings and shrimp shumai were pretty straightforward. Soup dumplings were smaller but still had good broth flavor and beef. Decent local spot for dim sum and other dishes. Thanks

Just went for a lovely early dinner. Service was great, our waitress was really attentive and kind. The vibe was nice too, they have a really pretty mural on the wall and wasn't too busy. Food was delicious, I got a chicken hot and sour soup which was great and exactly what I needed. My partner got a pork belly ramen and really liked it. We shared the veggie buns, so tasty! I'd come back for the lychee green tea alone because it was that good but everything was great, will definitely be back!

Does this really look like $26 worth of food to you?!

I can only speak to the delivery order I received. While the food was very tasty, the portion sizes are tiny for the price. I paid $15.95 for that tiny portion of short ribs and $9.95 for four dumplings. Definitely not worth $35 for delivery!

Amazing service, terrific valued. Came here for lunch today and had a great experience with their Taiwanese beef noodle soup. Service for our food was very prompt and also very polite. Restaurant was pretty empty since we went at the tail end of lunch rush so vibes were quiet. Restroom is clean and portion sizes are great on both the meat, broth, and noodles. Thanks!

I think this place is my GO TO for dim sum restaurants but not even for the dim sum itself LOL! If you go, you HAVE TO GET the taiwanese braised pork belly over rice. Like the pictures I took speaks VOLUMES. It's so good and it's so low key you wouldn't even expect it. Whenever I go it's always empty so I get my food pretty quickly (no complaints at all). And I don't know what it is about the vegetable buns but they're surprisingly delicious. I like the area too because I usually can find street parking so quickly, it's like the best of everything

This restaurant will satisfy your cravings for Asian fusion food. I got the wonton soup dish and it was good but not great. Tasty and passable. Service was fine and friendly but server needed to check with kitchen about some simple questions on the menu. Parking a bit challenging since it's located in an office building with other store front services. Overall an average place.

Veg fried rice and plain dim sum.

Food was amazing, lady who I think is the owner gave me and my little sister children's chopsticks since we struggled with the actual ones, and there is good Chinese music playing in the restaurant, along with a nice mural on the wall. Conveniently located next to a parking garage, as well as a Target with parking, which is where we parked. Would absolutely come back here.

A lot to love here! I was hungry walking home from an event and stumbled into Dim Sum & Noodle with zero plan. I asked the friendly staff at the counter if I could place a to-go order and wait for it, and they let me know it would be ~10 minutes. Incredible! A few notes: + This spot is BYOB. I can't wait to come with a group and a bottle of wine and order the whole menu. + For a place with "dim sum" in the name, the dim sum menu itself is a little small. What they do offer packs a punch and will fulfill your craving with gusto. + Do NOT skip the chicken chow fun! One of my favorite dishes I've had in a good long while and lasted me 3 full days. + Really reasonable prices and conveniently located in the Rodin Place plaza. + The steamed pork dumplings were good but left a bit to be desired for me when, again, dim sum is in the name. Thicker dough wrapper, pretty basic pork filling. This will be my go-to for takeout and delivery, and I cannot wait to try more dishes on the menu!

Dan Dan Noodle with Chili Peanut Sauce, Sauteed Meat with Eggplant in Garlic Sauce + Chicken Hot and Sour Soup (lunch special)

I got pork ramen from here once before which was decent but my takeout lunch order today really impressed me. I placed the order through Uber eats for the Dan Dan noodles and the lunch special spicy garlic sauce eggplant with hot and sour soup as my side. It was ready for pickup in less than 15 minutes, service was fast and easy. The eggplant was super flavorful, not too saucy, and they gave enough rice which I feel like some places don't always do. Dan Dan noodles were spicy and delicious but I just kept reaching for the eggplant, definitely the star of the show for me. Hot and sour soup was more sour than hot so maybe request extra spiciness if that is what you prefer, but the way they made it was perfect for my taste. I'll definitely be back to get takeout again for the lunch special and dinner--would recommend this place to anyone who has a Chinese craving!

Neighborhood spot with reasonably priced Chinese food (of all types). Dim sum is good, but the Braised pork belly over rice is my jam.

I do prefer the shrimp to be more plump & flavorful, & my favorite ones tend to have sauces other than soy to drizzle on. My trio of items was a steal at barely $20. Nom Wah is an excellent pick for quality dim sum at rock-bottom prices. I arrived early to a mostly-empty restaurant which allowed their staff to be extra attentive. The waiter described what sauces & dishes he was placing on my table, & the waitress offered to fill my water bottle before I left, as it was a 90° day. A lovely first impression!

The sticky rice in leaf had a good consistency although small with minimal ingredients. The shrimp dumplings are a staple but maybe too much flour which made the outer layer too doughy and chewy. The pork dumplings are good although smaller and tasted more like the frozen variety. Service was slow although there was only one waitress for the several tables. She did fill my water but I had to ask. And seemed to be somewhat frugal when I asked for extra napkins and only received ONE?!? She did come back later and gave me one additional napkin without being prompted. The biggest advantage for this place is it offered shrimp rolls but there are many other options available nearby.

We ended up having to move another table that had just seated to get our preferred table sizes next to each other, but the staff accommodated it with some back-and-forth. Once we were there, there were carts going around. Enough to be regularly getting food without being too interrupted, but would have liked to have a few more options every once in a while. We also requested some Chinese broccoli early on in the meal, but it came out pretty close to the end. Seems like a la carte orders are not handled in a timely way during dimsum hours. Otherwise, dimsum food is standard quality, as good as expected, but nothing too wow-ing. Solid for the price and the vibes. It ain't too fancy here, but a solid choice for dimsum if you're craving it.

Food is ok, has certainly decreased in quality after COVID and is more expensive. There are other dim sum places within a few blocks that are much better quality. As others have said, the situation with their staff demanding 15-20% tip has made it so I will not come here again. A tip is not legally required. It is only legally required to cover the cost of your food as stated on the bill. I think the BBB needs to be contacted to investigate their practices surrounding tips and almost harassing customers into paying more than they wish. In addition, they have loud trucks every day disrupting the quiet street behind. Many elderly live there and are woken up by the loud beeping from the truck alarms, as well as trash truck coming VERY early and waking up residents. No consideration for those who live right there. I will be contacting the city about this issue as there was a similar problem in Fishtown and now that restaurant is no longer allowed to have trucks outside of reasonable hours disturbing residents. The trucks are also TOO large to safely turn into their loading station and people park their SUVs making the space even smaller. They constantly case a problem with traffic blockages because of the trucks unable to turn into the loading dock.

This place immediately came to mind after I read the reviews, and I ordered takeout tonight. I am very pleased to say that this was an amazing experience! I opted to do fairly simple dim sum, mainly because a restaurant that has "dim sum" in its name should shine in this category. I was able to place my order online, and had the scallion pancake, the pork, soup, dumplings, the chicken and shiitake dumplings, and the shrimp shu mai. The order was prepared, extremely fast, but very attentively. The packaging was thoughtful and protective, without being wasteful. They included a small container of delicious black vinegar/soy for dipping, and some chopsticks. All of the dishes were fantastic! My favorite was probably the shrimp dumplings, and I was happy that it was two for one night. Everything tasted very fresh and well-made. The seasoning was spot on, without being overly salty. My only regret was that after going to pick these up, I noted that the inside of the establishment appeared to be quite quaint and comfortable, and would definitely recommend that people check this place out for dine in options. The staff were very friendly, and made the pick up experience a positive one. So, if you're in the area and really want to have some dim sum, I would definitely recommend this place. I will most definitely be back in the future!!

There were some of the usual downsides to carts--some items were lukewarm (particularly non-steamed items) and the selection was occasionally limited (there were no vegetables or rice rolls [cheong fun] on the carts, so we asked for them off the menu). As other commenters have noted, it was rather salty too. That said, the flavor was excellent. Har gao were some of the best I've had in a while, bean curd was also a highlight. Spareribs, chicken feet, and fried vegetables were standard (good and unexceptional), as were the desserts. Some plates of clams unexpectedly appeared and were tasty though a bit sauce-heavy.
