Chicken makhani and Greek hand-tossed pizza restaurant
    Anna S.

What a wonderful find!! Whenever we're trying to decide what to eat for dinner, I'm always in the mood for Indian food, and my husband is always in the mood for pizza. Now we get to split the difference! Everything here is phenomenal. We got chicken makhani and a superb hand-tossed pizza. Service was attentive and kind. I'm so happy Spice Hub/Fox Point exists! We'll be back!

Came in here for lunch last weekend and tried several dishes and pizza. We ordered Tikka Masala, Makhani (butter chicken), and a Supreme Pizza. The food overall was very good! The service was excellent and we had plenty of leftovers.

This is a new business Spice Hub that took over a beloved pizza spot in Lakewood . In Fox Point area to be exact. They're less than a month old. I ordered two dishes that I would definitely go back again but would rather try their other ones for sure. I love Saag and its earthiness and I chose lamb to make it even more so. The second dish was the Vindaloo with chicken . Both of them in medium heat. They got it right. Perfect! The service was polite and down to earth. Love it! They made minor changes to the decor and it's a lot more bright in there! The counter looks different now too. Get the Mango Lassi it's delicious n thick! Oh. And a patio! And for those of you who can't let go of pizza for a moment they have a menu for pizza!

Food was overall good but was overpriced. The pizza does the job but is more of a flat bread. The daal curry was yummy but was a bit watery. The chicken tikka was good flavor wise but the texture was a bit strange. Maybe too much cream? The cheese naan was delicious. The quantity of rice was also a lot and overall good. A reliable place for takeout close by but wouldn't travel to get it.

Vegan pepperoni pizza with olives added. Delicious!

This was the best vegan pizza! We got a 16" vegan pepperoni with olives, which was about 8 slices, and split it among 3 people. There's a lot seating inside and seating outside. The restaurant was very clean and tidy. The staff was so nice and made sure our food was to our liking. Overall, we had a wonderful experience. I highly recommend eating here!

Really cool spot with two menus, one for Indian, one for Italian mainly pizza. The staff was over the top friendly, our server PJ was awesome! The Indian is legit, next time I will try the pizza. They will get 5 stars once there is a liquor license.

They didn't seem to know how to balance different things people were asking for. We had to ask for the naan we ordered when it never came out. A table across from us had to ask for boxes twice before getting them. Another table had to yell out to get their attention for more to drink. It was hard to get his attention for something. Generally the service was a little frustrating, other people in the restaurant seemed to think so too. I got the Boti Kabab and it's the more expensive item on the menu. The vegetables were lightly sautéed onions and bell peppers with very little flavor. The lamb was extremely chewy and was clearly only cooked only in a tomato paste and red chili flake mixture, it didn't even taste like it was marinated in the sauce it said it's marinated in. There was a cold yogurt garlic dipping sauce on the side that I assume was the marinade that was just kinda okay, but I asked for hot and it was barely mild. It was kinda upsetting for the lamb to be as chewy as it was with barely any flavor outside the cold dipping sauce. I'm also 99% sure it was supposed to come with rice and I never got rice, though I could be wrong. Other meals probably would have been better, the photos look good and the other person with me got tikka, and it tastes pretty good. It was a little upsetting that the more expensive meal was crazy low quality compared to chicken tikka. The naan was also okay but it was kind of thin and cracker-like.

I had the Traditional Plate with Lamb and Misir (Lentils) as the side. The dish came with injera (a spongy flatbread that you eat the meal with). I was looking at the plates, but noticed that I could just order single items as a side. I wound up getting the Kik Alicha (yellow split peas), and it was great! It was a very generous serving, with what looks like two pieces of injera bread (yummy tart Ethiopian bread). I got rice as an add-on and the whole thing only cost $9.00! Had I ordered without the rice, it would have only been $6.00. Prices like that are almost unseen these days! The Kik Alicia was nicely seasoned and mild (not spicy), and was the perfect protein for me. Service was also super fast, too! Highly recommended if you're vegan/vegetarian and looking for some simple comfort food. Love when I'm traveling and can find good food like this!
