Lovely atmosphere. Get the Apollo Fish!! Their Garlic Naan is the best in town. Will be back soon!

Loved everything about this place!! The atmosphere was warm and inviting, the wait staff was incredibly friendly! The chef even came out to chat with a few tables, which showed how much they actually care. The decor was modern and everything was clean, including the bathrooms! The patio was adorable and even had a swing and the perfect spot to take selfies! All of the food was incredible and flavorful - best naan I've ever had! And definitely try the falooda dessert!

Aloo Gobi, plain and garlic naan, and lamb Tikki Masala

Noticed Spice Junction had an open sign and we ducked in to give it a try. They are still in the soft opening phase, but the service was excellent and the food was even better. I work on Sherwood and this will definitely be my go to for Indian.

It's exactly the same taste and quality as the bbq Gunpowder Chicken Biryani and I live closer to Swagat. The owner said the owner of Gunpowder is from the same city in India. I like the Indian Spicy heat level and it's not overly hot but it can be made mild. It is chicken chunks cooked in tangy red curry spices & comes with a side of Naan & small cup of cooling Indian house-made Raita (yoghurt, cucumber, carrot & spices), sliced purple onions & lemon wedge. The lemon adds a brightness over the Biryani Rice & spicy chicken. I've had this 2x in one month and crave it now. I'll add a photo next time but it's amazing.

We came by on a Sunday afternoon and it wasn't too crowded at all, only a couple other tables. We shared the samosas which were good but not great. They weren't bad just didn't blow me away. I also ordered the chili chicken I've usually had Sichuan style so I didn't know it would come in sauce but it was really good! Not too spicy. For my main I got the malai kofta and paired it with the paratha. Everything was so flavorful and fresh. The dumplings were perfectly spiced and soft. The buttery paratha paired so well with the rich sauce. It also made enough for leftovers the next day which I always love. Not in the area often but highly recommend to anyone who is!

Then I remembered this Indian restaurant that I tried before, even though my husband has not. I visited this place back when it was still smaller and had not expanded yet. I still remember the food being delicious so I was really excited to come back. We went around lunch time and it was not too busy. We decided to do the buffet since I knew they added it after the expansion, but I never got a chance to return until now. The buffet was 19.99 per person. I am not sure if that was a holiday price or the regular price. The food was amazing and full of flavor. I really enjoyed the mushroom masala and the butter chicken. Their goat curry was also very good, the meat did not have any strange taste or smell. I do not usually like goat so I was hesitant, but this one surprised me and I actually liked it. The service was super nice and attentive. The server noticed we did not have naan because they were out at the moment, and when the fresh batch came out he brought it to our table right away. He talked to every table and made sure everyone was doing good, and he also listened to feedback. Everything was great, but me and my husband both felt that having a few more food options would make the buffet even better. The selection was still on the smaller side, although I do understand Indian food can be more expensive and time consuming to prepare. I do wish they had samosas and garlic naan. The regular naan is good but garlic naan always hits different. If you do not want buffet you can also order plates instead. After about thirty minutes I noticed a lot more people started coming in, which means this place is well loved and popular. Overall it was a good experience. The price is a little high for the amount of selection, but the food quality is top tier so it still feels worth dining in. We would definitely come back again

You pick your seat and the ordering is different, as after reviewing the menu, you go up to the counter and order. I ordered the Samosas for the appetizer and it was so good, the flavors and spice just a completely different taste. The mains were the Masala, and what can I say, but flavor perfection spicy but you can still taste all of the seasoning, and the garlic naan that went with this another level, then the fish pomfret, yum especially with the sauce, and lightly grilled onions was one of the better fish dishes I've had, a little salt for perfection, however put it all together with the naan and you have one delicious bite, the lemon rice with nuts was definitely a twist that were not used to but in a good way. Definitely returning to try more delicious dishes.

The chicken biryani was wonderfully fragrant and full of flavor, with tender pieces of chicken and perfectly cooked basmati rice infused with spices. The butter chicken was rich, creamy, slightly sweet, and incredibly comforting -- the kind of dish you just keep going back to. The garlic naan was soft, warm, and full of garlicky goodness (without being overpowering), perfect for scooping up every bit of sauce. Portions were generous enough to enjoy leftovers the next day. If you're looking for a satisfying meal at a reasonable price, this is a great choice. Better flavors, prices and portions than Destination India in my opinion.

Priya puts a lot of care and love into every single dish and you can tell that she truly wants everyone to have a good experience. That said, upon arrival, we did wait about 10 minutes before the server finally came over to take our orders. This place is extremely understaffed given the demand so the food also took a while to arrive at our tables. We ordered the butter chicken and the yellow cauliflower, two dishes that were warm and flavorful but not completely transformative. The roti bread was also a bit underwhelming as it lacked flavor and puffiness. The naan was a little bit more promising but given the price point--left much to be desired. We also noticed that all drink options are grab-and-go but nobody tells you that when you walk in. (We figured this out after watching a few of the regulars grab their beverages from the fridge.) One high point is that the service was friendly enough and there was a complimentary soup brought out to the tables before the meal is presented. All in all, while it is easy to enjoy the samosas and hummus dips sold by Priya at the farmer's market, the dining experience of being in her actual restaurant needs a bit more fine-tuning. 5/10 for this one ~

As someone of Indian heritage who has eaten at Indian restaurants across the country and abroad, I do not offer five stars lightly. The Tandoori Chicken Tikka is the best I have ever had -- anywhere, full stop. The char is perfect, the marinade deeply fragrant, and the chicken impossibly tender. This dish alone is worth crossing the city for. The Chicken Biryani was layered and fragrant, with each component perfectly spiced yet cohesive. The Malai Gosht was rich and silky -- a quietly elegant dish that lingers on the palate. The Palak Paneer was vibrant and fresh, nothing like the heavy renditions found elsewhere. The Bullet Naan -- marketed as "eat at your own risk" -- delivered on its promise. Bold, building heat that commanded attention, but never reckless. Paired with a curry, it was outstanding. The Falooda dessert was a perfect finish: cooling, fragrant, and beautifully presented. The wine list was surprisingly decent for an Indian Restaurant. We enjoyed the Brunello! And the service -- led by Manager Aman -- was over the top in the best possible way. Warm, attentive, and genuinely invested in every guest's experience. The hospitality matched the kitchen's excellence at every turn. LuFu Nola is a must-visit. Easily the best Indian food in New Orleans.

I would like to try a few more items but how things ended altered that. Our experience started off well but ended with being rushed out for other reservations. To be a party of 4 and seated for a total of 1 hour, asked for two to go drinks that were horribly made because they were rushing, it left a bad taste in my mouth. The waiter who made our initial drinks made some well crafted drinks, the waitress who was rushing us out did not and it looked and tasted as such. Overall, the food was good and I guess takeout is an option.
