Spice junction 11777 Coursey Blvd, Baton Rouge, LA 70816 As I've been eating more Indian food over time, I've found myself enjoying it more and more. If you're a fan of bold spices, rich flavors, and comforting dishes, @spicejunction is definitely worth checking out! Here's what we ordered: 1. Honey-Chili Cauliflower (favorite) Crispy cauliflower tossed in sweet, spicy honey-chili glaze. 2. Chilli Junction Crispy paneer with peppers in spicy garlic sauce. 3. Garlic Naan Flatbread brushed with garlic butter. 4. Samosa Chaat Short crust with white peas and fennel seeds. 5. Plain Dosa Crispy rice & lentil crepe griddled to perfection. 6. Chicken 65 Fiery deep-fried chicken bites tossed in bold South Indian spices for a crispy tangy kick. 7. Butter Chicken Creamy tomato-based curry with tender-chicken and warm indian spices. The Honey-Chili Cauliflower completely stole the show: it was easily my favorite dish of the meal. You'll definitely see me back here for another order of that! Tonylameats Approved

Our son and I went to Spice Junction on Coursey Blvd tonight, and it was as good as any Indian we've had in town. We enjoyed the Gobi Manchurian, Chicken Wings, Chicken Tikka Masala, and Garlic Naan. The Naanwich appetizer was a favorite, and the owners/managers came by to ensure we were enjoying everything we ordered. They even brought us a nice rice pudding dessert to try after the meal. We'll definitely be back soon to explore more of the menu.

The place is beautifully renovated with dishes that were well crafted. The flavors were on point and the different naans were buttery and tasty. Will definitely be back!

Lovely atmosphere. Get the Apollo Fish!! Their Garlic Naan is the best in town. Will be back soon!

Cucumber onion salad- great for mixing in a rice dish

Delicious authentic Indian food!! Beautiful setup with a relaxing atmosphere. I felt so welcomed and service was great! I've never had Indian food so Chadra took his time to walk me through the menu and he gave some great recommendations. The owner checked on me and had a kind personality. There is plenty of options from fish, chicken, goat, lobster, shrimp and vegan options. You can also pick your spice level for every option. I had the Indian hot and I was sweating/ nose dripping. I had the Apollo fish and spice junction special chicken, onion cucumber salad and mango lassi. I really liked everything- no complaints. The mango lassi is so darn good - it tasted danimals yogurt smoothie. I appreciate that prices are very reasonable and the serving sizes match! They have beautiful patio with a swing. I will be back

Bullet (spicy) and garlic naan, falooda, Masala Dosa

Loved everything about this place!! The atmosphere was warm and inviting, the wait staff was incredibly friendly! The chef even came out to chat with a few tables, which showed how much they actually care. The decor was modern and everything was clean, including the bathrooms! The patio was adorable and even had a swing and the perfect spot to take selfies! All of the food was incredible and flavorful - best naan I've ever had! And definitely try the falooda dessert!

Aloo Gobi, plain and garlic naan, and lamb Tikki Masala

Noticed Spice Junction had an open sign and we ducked in to give it a try. They are still in the soft opening phase, but the service was excellent and the food was even better. I work on Sherwood and this will definitely be my go to for Indian.

Then I remembered this Indian restaurant that I tried before, even though my husband has not. I visited this place back when it was still smaller and had not expanded yet. I still remember the food being delicious so I was really excited to come back. We went around lunch time and it was not too busy. We decided to do the buffet since I knew they added it after the expansion, but I never got a chance to return until now. The buffet was 19.99 per person. I am not sure if that was a holiday price or the regular price. The food was amazing and full of flavor. I really enjoyed the mushroom masala and the butter chicken. Their goat curry was also very good, the meat did not have any strange taste or smell. I do not usually like goat so I was hesitant, but this one surprised me and I actually liked it. The service was super nice and attentive. The server noticed we did not have naan because they were out at the moment, and when the fresh batch came out he brought it to our table right away. He talked to every table and made sure everyone was doing good, and he also listened to feedback. Everything was great, but me and my husband both felt that having a few more food options would make the buffet even better. The selection was still on the smaller side, although I do understand Indian food can be more expensive and time consuming to prepare. I do wish they had samosas and garlic naan. The regular naan is good but garlic naan always hits different. If you do not want buffet you can also order plates instead. After about thirty minutes I noticed a lot more people started coming in, which means this place is well loved and popular. Overall it was a good experience. The price is a little high for the amount of selection, but the food quality is top tier so it still feels worth dining in. We would definitely come back again

Priya puts a lot of care and love into every single dish and you can tell that she truly wants everyone to have a good experience. That said, upon arrival, we did wait about 10 minutes before the server finally came over to take our orders. This place is extremely understaffed given the demand so the food also took a while to arrive at our tables. We ordered the butter chicken and the yellow cauliflower, two dishes that were warm and flavorful but not completely transformative. The roti bread was also a bit underwhelming as it lacked flavor and puffiness. The naan was a little bit more promising but given the price point--left much to be desired. We also noticed that all drink options are grab-and-go but nobody tells you that when you walk in. (We figured this out after watching a few of the regulars grab their beverages from the fridge.) One high point is that the service was friendly enough and there was a complimentary soup brought out to the tables before the meal is presented. All in all, while it is easy to enjoy the samosas and hummus dips sold by Priya at the farmer's market, the dining experience of being in her actual restaurant needs a bit more fine-tuning. 5/10 for this one ~

This has to be one of the best Indian restaurants in the country. As a person who has tried lots of Indian restaurants, this place stands out above all. The service is impeccable. I wouldn't expect anything less given the quality and the taste of the food coming out of that kitchen. Our servers were very proper, very respectful, very courteous, and you could tell they were very proud of the food they were serving. The space is very well decorated, not a giant restaurant. If you don't already know who they are, you honestly don't expect what you're about to taste, and you're in for a ride. Every plate had something special to it. I didn't think I could fall in love again with lamb chops, but they proved me wrong. Reminded me of the first time I ever bit a GOOD lamb chop. I didn't think I would be impressed by (seemingly) fried chicken bits, but you too won't understand why they're so good when you bite into them. Fried cauliflower, AMAZING. I don't even like cauliflower - the ears are weird. We had.. Crispy Gobi Chicken Pakoda Tandoori Shrimp Tandoori Lamb Malabar Fish Cury Kolhapuri Chicken For drinks we had Vodka Mango Lassi (he knew I was in it for the vodka) Spicy Margarita (very good and very nicely presented) This place is a MUST GO
