It consisted of their food pictures and some type of banana leaves. //SERVICE: We came up to the counter, young hispanic lady greeted us and called an older Vietnamese lady in the back to help us order. We had to order, pay first and then we can sit any where we want. The Vietnamese lady asked if I'm paying credit or debit. I said, credit. She said, there's 3% charge for using credit. I said, that's ok. Then on the pin pad, it asked me for tip, so I clicked 10%. I wanted to give 15%, but I felt like why am I tipping now? Shouldn't I tip after all the services have been provided? I thought I had no other option so, I had to click either 10% or 15% or 20%. I thought the 4th square was blank but after I paid, my fiancé said I could have clicked where it says CUSTOM on that 4th square and not give tip at all. Well, idiot me!!! Lol. I didn't see it. After I paid, I GOT EVEN MORE ANGRY!!! Why?! When we sat down, we looked around and there were signs stating some thing a long the lines of, 'PLEASE BUS YOUR OWN TABLE.. ' I'm like WTF??? My friend and I were craving for some soup because it was cold at half Moon Bay. When we were looking for some area with soup, we saw this place on yelp and had good reviews. So we had some expectation that the Pho was pretty good. We ordered two pho, one with beef based and one with chicken based. They were very bland. I don't think this place is very known for their pho soup. Their sandwiches on the menu look better though. Next time when we come back, we will order their sandwich instead. But I don't recommend their pho if you're okay with very bland light soup. The noodles were also a bit soggy too as well. It was good on the first couple of bites and then, a few minutes later for some reason the noodles got soggy. So we both kind of lost the appetite. They may have overcooked it. Overall, the staff were nice. And it's self-serve to get the sauce and utensils. And it's also self cleanup. The place is pretty small as well, maybe we can only fit a few party. read more

Once there, it's a hole in the wall type vibe where you order at the counter and bus your own table, as well as grab your own sauces. The food was absolutely what you'd expect - delicious and authentic. The spring rolls with shrimp and the peanut sauce were good- 7 out of 10 only because they were a bit thin. I had the make your own noodle soup with chicken broth, pho noodles, pork and shrimp dumplings, mushrooms and a pan fried egg- 10 out of 10: broth was flavorful, dumplings were juicy and amazing, and overall I couldn't even finish the entire bowl because the servings were huge. The nice lady in the front was very patient and kind, since it was our first time there she gave us plenty of time to decide what to order. She was attentive as soon as we were ready to order. Really nice wrapped in lettuce with the noodles and veggies and fish sauce, which made it much more than just some egg rolls by themselves. I had the garlic noodles with pork. The garlic noodles were done really well. No raw garlic taste at all. Very well roasted. But the pork was the star of the dish. Very nicely charred bits that had tons of flavor. Portions were very generous. I was really pretty impressed. You order at the counter and they bring the food to your table. There are mostly smaller tables for 2-4 although there was a group of around 8 at the table up front. I liked that the tables come with a big pitcher of ice water which is nice so you don't have to wait for someone to bring you water. People in the restaurant were very nice.
