The location is nice. Oxtails, peas and rice were good. Could use a little bit more oxtails. I also had curry chicken with peas and rice and cabbage but I forgot to take a picture of it. It's probably better to call ahead and place an order over the phone before you get there. There's a good chance. They may be out of certain dishes when you arrive.

As I continue transition into the Delaware area I seek to find authentic food spots. Spice N Nice 2 hits the spot. The first day I tried I was disappointed when I arrived at 6:15pm and not realizing that they close at 6pm. Bit of a shock for a NY'er only Wall St. closes that early. However, the next day I gave them a try during lunch time and it was definitely the proper choice. I ordered the small Jerk Chicken (definitely filling) with rice and peas, mixed veg and plantains definitely delicious definitely reminded me of my aunties rice. Love it! definitely going back.

I visited because of a recommendation from a coworker and I'm so glad I followed through! Their curry chicken was so tasty and the portion size is great. We also tried their jerk chicken and the meat was so tender that it fell right off of the bone. Will be coming back again! (Curry Chicken was $12 and jerk chicken side was $5)

There are a few JA restaurants in DE, but this 2 store chain is the best JA food experience I've had so far in De. I've been going to them from their days when they only had the 1 (Spice and Nice) restaurant off Route 9--still there. It still doesn't comes close to a Flatbush/ Utica Ave Brooklyn experience, but for a DE experience it's on top! The Patty is really good and always fresh from my experience. Oxtail, Curry Chicken and stew Chicken are my favorites. The only negative to this chain is the wait time as they're clearly on Jamaican time! I highly suggest anyone thinking of making a 'quick' stop in to get that out of your mind. You'll just end up going there and wait forever on the food and probably get so annoyed you probably not got back. With that said CALL AHEAD and with that add a few minutes of wait time in the planning on top of that. After many times getting there and twiddling my thumbs I've come to just accept its just a JA ting. I've just come to realize it's part of the experience and I plan accordingly as I suggested earlier. The food just keeps me going back! Tip: when calling know that they're actually there. They just take a little longer to answer the phones--again they're in JA speed mode :) At times they get so busy they don't even answer! Again the food keeps me going back!

They have grilled cheese that's more like microwaved than grilled cheese and you get your soup served with a hunk of good crusty bread. They have different ice teas and fountain soda you get your own, they hand you a cup. They also have single serve drinks available in the fridge. You can choose from three sizes of soup and everything is in to-go containers so you can bring it home. They had cookies and I think brownies for purchase too. Soups are good and hearty, you can get free samples to try out different onesie before selecting your favorite. Chicken Noodle always seems to be there but the others get changed up so they have more options. Tables and chairs in the middle and booths on the side that are comfortable. This is in a strip mall near Ulta and Best Buy. Parking in front and around the side of the place. Prices are pretty reasonable and people aren't there too long to eat so you can always get a seat. It's not table service, you order and pay (Apple Pay accepted) and then sit. They'll call you when your food is ready for pick up. You get it in a small brown paper bag with handles. I usually ask for an extra bread and take some soup home for later. Staff seems very happy to be there and the soup keeps being brought out and hot to go! Only giving it four stars cause the grilled cheese could be done better.

The prices are comparable to every other dive (this not a dive) Chinese place but the food is always very fresh and the place is clean and nice. A place you can go on a date night. I enjoy dining in more than take out there. The customer service is excellent and my food has always been correct. The vegetables are always cooked perfectly they are slightly crisp and never overlooked. They have a crazy all you can eat that I have never participated in. But it is a hell of a deal. They prepare your all you can eat as you finish the dishes. So your food is always prepared for you. It is not scooped out of a steam table. I have had the sushi. I think is tasty even though I don't really like sushi to begin with. I have talked to a few sushi snobs that say this sushi is amazing especially for the value. And the sushi is also all you can eat. The only negative thing about the "all you can eat" is you pay extra for food you don't eat. I actually think it is fair because there are very wasteful people out there. But overall I hope they keep up their standards and keep up the great work!

I visited this restaurant on a Saturday around 1 PM with my cousin, and the experience was…read moreextremely disappointing from start to finish. The service was unacceptable. The server, an older woman, was consistently rude and dismissive in her behavior. While I cannot confirm intent, the interaction felt uncomfortable enough to raise concerns about whether bias may have played a role. I have rarely encountered such discourteous treatment in any restaurant. After handing us the menu, she returned to take our order. When my cousin pointed to Thai basil fried rice, she abruptly said it was only available on a different menu or day. I then pointed to "Thai basil vegetables" and asked if that referred to Thai basil fried rice, and she said yes before quickly taking the menu away without properly clarifying. When I asked whether the dish contained egg or meat, she confirmed it did not. She did not ask about water preferences and brought us warm water without ice. When the food arrived, it was not fried rice but plain white rice with vegetables. When I raised the issue, she insisted I had ordered that item. When my cousin tried to explain that he had specifically asked about Thai basil fried rice, she told him to stop speaking for me, which was highly unprofessional. What made the situation worse was that when she tried to justify the order by pointing to the menu, she was unable to locate any listing for Thai basil fried rice on that same menu, which further highlighted the confusion and lack of clarity in her explanation. Eventually, she brought the correct dish, but I noticed the incorrect item was then served to another customer, which was concerning. The portion size was also quite small, though I understand this has been mentioned in other reviews. Toward the end of the meal, she cleared the table prematurely, taking my cousin's plate while he was still eating without asking. That was the final point of frustration. Due to the overall experience, I left no tip and made that clear on the receipt. I strongly caution others to be aware of the service here. If a restaurant is not prepared to treat customers with basic respect and professionalism, it should reconsider its standards of operation.
