The chicken tikka masala was rich, flavorful, and perfectly spiced. The fried rice was full of taste and not greasy at all. And the naan? Soft, warm, and just the right amount of char. My husband wanted a five star dinner to close out our trip to Great Wolf and our family of 4 were blown away! I am so sad we are not closer as this Indian food is some of the top we have ever eaten. Butter naan out of the gates had the perfect softness with a touch of crisp on the bottom, slight shimmery sheen of butter (ordered 2 servings and could have eaten a 3rd). Mango chutney is a must for me - could have been a slightly bigger portion but delish, along with the tamarind and coconut chutneys that are part of the meal. We ordered Asian chili calamari and it was perfectly crisp and batter was egg free (another household allergy). Butter chicken was a winner for my younger one - contender for our favorite place in Jersey. If you have a nut allergy, note that they may use nuts in some of their spice blends and will let you know that up front. That said, my allergic child ordered chicken tandoori and she also said it earned top Tandoori status. My husband ordered chicken Chettinand and had no hesitation eating leftovers the next day (even as a vegetarian, the reheat even smelled amazing!). My favorite Navratan korma of all time is served here - other restaurants load up on tons of cream or have a bad ratio of veg to sauce. The hint of fresh cardamom in the spices and perfect balance of cream in the sauce (not too much) - plus the right veg mixture just made this a favorite Indian dish of all time. I think I had 3 spoonfuls left and insisted on putting it in a to-go box. Super super food and so glad we found this gem (and it's fresh ambiance!) during our travels. Very enjoyable evening. It's an interesting place, one side seems to be darker and more intimate while the other side is brightly lit and banquet-hall like. We were met by the waitress very quickly and offered ice water, which was cold and refreshing. My wife had a Thai Iced Tea, which she enjoyed, and I stuck with the water. I ordered a bowl of Tom Yum soup to start and found it to be just a tad salty for my liking and I could not finish it. They took it off the bill and were very accommodating. For our entrees, we both had the Butter Chicken and Naan. It was very good! Not a thick/creamy as I have had at other establishments but VERY flavorful and the spice level was perfect. We had a disappointing experience. Our waiter seemed less than interested in taking our order. Our food arrived and he never checked up on us. We had to ask someone else for our check. Food was good but not great. My husband didn't like his Pad Thai. My Palak Paneer was good. As far as ambiance, a large TV screen played Fox News, not enjoyable as we ate dinner. The fried rice was ordered with specific requirements but was served with none of the requested modifications. A dessert was ordered but never provided. - Some of the meat was cooked well. - The rice was cooked well. Service: - The servers were dismissive and did not listen to orders. Quality: - The ambiance was fine but much of the decor felt cheap - There were several instances of filth on utensils and drink cans. - They served drinks in cans instead of pouring them into cups. Avoid this place like the plague! Sincere incompetence has been shown, and I will never make the mistake of ordering here again. They lost my order. They told my husband that they had never received my order and they then had two very similar orders and confused them. The food was awful. For context, this was my first order since we were here on vacation. The buttered roti was completely bland- I mean normally you can taste a bit of salt but no. This was bland and rubbery. The pad Thai was not legitimate pad Thai. Too sweet and just gross. The "medium" curry was absolutely disgusting. I mean I love spicy, but something listed as medium should not blow my tastebuds out of their taste detecting ability. The rice was just too gross I mean our dogs wouldn't even eat it. So my first review from here was a takeout order and while it was quite good, it lacked a lot of the experience because I couldn't dine in (covid) and it was also a hefty price for one person to eat takeout. Now the prices have not changed, but the addition of the atmosphere and a "night out" makes them feel much more in line with what I'm comfortable spending. The Honey Sesame Chicken appetizer was excellent. Similar to a Sesame Chicken dish from a Chinese takeout spot but significantly better. Much more depth to this, not just sweet on sweet. The chicken was battered and fried perfectly. When we were done, I wanted more. The Butter Chicken was pretty standard as far as most Indian spots go, but standard is good. It's a flavor you expect to get, and it delivered. The Chicken with Broccoli was another Chinese style dish we got (my girlfriend is not super adventurous and she loves this from the Chinese place) that met the requirements of what we were looking for. Very good flavor and the meat and broccoli was cooked perfectly. The broccoli wasn't mush but wasn't too hard and the chicken was velvety and tasty. The Lamb Biryani tasted exactly as I remember it from my takeout meal, which was quite good. I will order this dish from here any day of the week and be happy about it. Now with their even nicer location in Bartonsville, dining in here is a night out that we enjoy. Chinese, Thai, Indian...you can get any of these 3 here, and they're all quite good. We ate here on a Saturday night after spending the day skiing at Camelbak. We were immediately seated which I appreciated given I was aching from the slopes. I had the chili paneer. It was very sweet. Paneer was dense and had a nice texture. There was enough of the dish to accompany a couple bowls of rice and some garlic naan. Portions were deceivingly large. Service was pretty quick too. Lots of servers walking around so it was easy to get water topped off or make a request. Two single occupancy restrooms. The service was terrible. Took my family including my mom. 1st ordered drinks for my kids. $3.50 for 1 12 oz can of soda. Bought 4 (2 later on). Smh about the price. Server stood around talking to some coworkers as we received our appetizers. I had to ask another person who was a kitchen employee for my kids drinks as the server continued chatting with his buddies. A little later all of our food arrived except my mom's. After waiting about 8 minutes, I asked the same kitchen helper as our server was no where to be found if they could bring my mom her food. They had to check to see if we ordered it. (Which the server had confirmed everything we ordered when we 1st placed it). They finally brought her food. We then asked for 2 more drinks from the only kitchen helper. He brought them out. Later another lady came by and we waved her down for boxes and the check. They added their own gratuity, we couldn't even change it. They couldn't give us a receipt for my mom at first, gave my husband a receipt and then we had to ask again for my mom's receipt. They brought it back 5 minutes later. I wanted to really try this restaurant and got the chance. This spot is byob. I went into the very nice restaurant and ordered. I ordered the vegetable samosas and the fried red snapper and rice. It took about 20 minutes or so for it to come out. When I dug in the samosas were very good and I liked the sweet sauce. The red snapper was good but the sauce was like a tomato paste so wasn't too fond of that but everything else was good. All in all it was a good experience. read more

I ordered through Uber eats, I believe they are closed for indoor dining. I placed a small order and after tasting the food I instantly regretted it. I ordered garlic naan and onion naan. I honestly didn't care for the onion naan because I'm not a fan of onions so I'm not Sure why I ordered it lol. The garlic naan was so good! It had amazing flavor and I truly wish I had ordered more. I also orders the cauliflower. It was extremely spicy so if you're not a fan of spicy then you can skip this dish or just ask for a side of yogurt. We came here for lunch, it's a really good choice for Indian food up in Poconos Mountains! Tandoori items were great especially Lamb Seekh Kebab.
