Both dishes were good. The lightly breaded fish is perfect goes well if you dunk into the soup they give you. It's not salty so if you're expecting saltiness. It's not. It's very healthy. Service was good very kind. It gets busy so be patient with the waiters. Ambiance it's for a good time with good seafood, I would say if you're buying dinner for friends this is a place to go. Have driven past this place tucked in a shopping center so many times and finally stopped in. Im glad we did ! Walking in the resteraunt is open , bright and clean. The colors are great, orange and blue (Go Astros) and I love the fish decor on the wallls. The menu is of course mostly mariscos type seafood but there's some beef options for the oddballs in your group. It's also in Spanish but there's pictures of the food so you can just point and make your choices. Drink menu has some great choices but I saw it too late and made some mental notes for next time. Before your meal ,you get a basket of chips , green salsa, and creamy refried beans to dip into. So good ! And then they brought out a small cup of vegetable soup. I would come back just for that soup. The broth was delicious. I ordered the whole fried tilapia which is basically a very big platter of salad , french fries , white rice , buttered texas toast, and the whole fish. For a slight upcharge, you can get red snapper. The fish was crunchy on the outside , fried hard. The inside was moist , flaky , tender , almost like steamed fish. You will have to be careful because of the plethora of fish bones but that was a minor inconvenience i'm willing to deal with. Service was good, our server was attentive and stopped by our table enough times that we didn't get parched. To the MANAGER...It is the NFL playoff...You have 4 hanging TVS. You have the College Playoff...When I ask if they could put the NFL PLAYOFF GAME...He did not know what TV Station it was on. You as a MANAGER should know what is happening in sports world.I am not criticizing your restaurant. We enjoy the food. Outside my realm.. I'm in Corpus Christi visiting my other mother in law and my wife's brother and after a day of running errands, we got hungry. We came to Mueller 37 which means commercial pier. This place is a Mexican seafood place. And if you're looking for Red Lobster type meals, this place is not for you. They do have fried fish but they do not offer hush puppies or mashed potatoes. So trying something different is at hand here. I normally don't associate Mexican cuisine with Seafood, but this is an exception! I had the fish platter #2 which has 2 fried fish and 3 shrimps. The shrimps were big and although it was fried, it tasted like tempura to me. The fish itself was a cod fish fried and breaded lightly and cooked to perfection. The rest of my family are ceviche which is cut up fish with pico de Gallo in line and citrus juice. The combination "cooks" the fish which is why it looks white. I tasted it and it was indeed good. I couldn't eat it as I do not like raw onions. My wife had the grilled fish platter and I finally tried it and it was better than my fish. Seasoned lightly and grilled deliciously. Not something I would eat often but I would come back again. They serve the fish with a salad and rice and your choice of tortilla or bread slices. If you want something different with your fish give a try for Mexican seafood. You will enjoy! read more

I've heard great things about this joint. It did not disappoint.....except for the fact that they did not have oysters available (only reason they did not receive a 5 star rating). However, the food was outstanding, and the service was above average. We first were served chips with refried beans on the side, green salsa, and limes which was a tasty combination. Our entrees were served with a flavorful white rice. I don't get to excited about rice, but they have a very good rice. My wife ordered the cilantro fish, and I ordered a platter fried fish, shrimp cocktail, salad, fries, and onion rings. read more

We wanted a nice dinner on date night. We opted for Mexican seafood. Muelle 37 has incredible food. Great service. A bit on the high side but so so good. We ordered this seafood botana for two. Omg. The little broth they bring with chips and refried beans is so so delish. The service was so good but she could've done a better job on refills. She was busy chatting with co workers. Getting her attention was all but standing up and dancing for a refill. the homemade lemonade is the bomb. This place is so good. Try it if you haven't already. Good stuff read more

such an amazing experience! went to corpus for moms birthday, she wanted a mariscos place so i went on yelp to find one and came across muelle 37 and it only had a few reviews and decided to go with our luck and try it out. It did not disappoint! We got seated right away, and our server, Ana, came up to us within 2 minutes. We asked for some recommendations and she was amazing and guiding us in the right direction. She wasn't trying to upsell the most expensive thing on the menu she genuinely wanted to know what we were in the mood for. decided to start off with the botánita which had octopus , fish and shrimp. 10/10. got some micheladas and we're decent size for the price! then we got the #2 (2 chicharrónes, 3 camarones, arroz, papas, ensalada). 10/10. my mom is a SUPER picky person but didn't have one negative thing to say about this place. the staff surprised my mom with desert and sang her happy birthday! This place was so good! My fiancé had the whole fish, and I had the fried fish and shrimp plate, and we also ordered a ceviche with tostadas as an appetizer. Everything was amazing!!! The staff was very friendly, the beers were cold, and the food was so fresh! You get salsa with chips and refried beans to start and both were homemade. I was surprised for a Friday night that this place wasn't packed. A place like this in the valley has our long weeks. This is definitely a hidden gem in Corpus. Heard great things so we had to try it out. The chips and salsa w/a side of refried beans they give you are good! The lemonade is good as well. The ceviche sampler was not the greatest out of the 3 options they serve you on that plate the white fish ceviche was good, the other two were made with canned jalapeños. The Michelada was 9$ and wasn't great, it was just the Clamato Michelada mix,which is fine but nothing great. The food was ok, the fried shrimp was really good,but that's about it. The shrimp cocktail was very sweet and had no flavor. Fish was not the greatest either it was bland. They also spilled an entire bottle of hotsauce right next to us and didn't even get an apology from the manager or a simple response from management in that regard. Needless to say we smelled of hotsauce as we had things to do so we had to go back home 45 minutes away and cancel the rest of our day. It was a horrible to say the least we won't be returning. Regardless of the hot sauce incident the food was still not great. Not worth the price point. read more
