I love popping in to Spice Hut to grab some spicy onion samosas. They're definitely hot, but so delicious! They have an awesome selection of frozen food, a nice produce selection, and tons of packaged food. I've enjoyed trying their spices and sauces and chutneys! I am showing them they charged me twice for the same amount, on the same day and time and showed them the cc charges, they denied to refund me. They are asking for receipt. I remember this charge, I tried my phone to pay and the POS didn't show it went through and right away I used my credit card. All of this was relayed to them. This isn't my favorite SpiceHut store in the area. It is messy, disorganized and is heavily non-compliant on pandemic protocols. That said, this store carries all your basic Indian grocery requirements, fresh produce and frozen items. This store will carry (as all Indian stores do) the most affordable priced, well-appointed gluten-free flour options. There are specific brands to southern Indian foods and snacks that are available here. They have a little pastry/dessert/snack bar inside for takeouts as well. They probably have the largest variety of Amul chocolate bars- a true international candy one must hit. read more

So far only tried their bakery but think it's a pretty good Indian bakery! We were craving butter scotch and black first cake and came here at 9pm in the night. We got the cakes and wow. They were pretty tasty and we will be back! The frosting is very whipped cream like and the cakes were very soft. The crunch of butterscotch in the cake were good as well! read more

Their Groceries and Vegetables were kind of pricey compared to other places around but their South Indian Snack Corner was Everything. They had Authentic South Indian snacks at decent prices , I got all the varieties available today and everything was On Point . Onion Pakoda , Masala Vada , Punugulu , Cut Mirchi, Vegetable Samosa were all super authentic and reminded me of the snacks I used to have Back Home . They were all served hot which is always a plus and They are priced low for the quality they offer . This is first time I am giving review. I had to because cashier behind the counter who is acne queen, miserable woman screamed at me. I was wanted to order snacks since I am vegetarian, I asked her what that item is. She first looked at me from head to toe and them rudly said " THIS I BONDA MADAM!" I was so taken a back but I ignored. I politely told her can I get two of these. She then again screamed in same tone "MADAM ONE ORDER 4". That is where I couldn't take her attitude and I told her to cancel the order. Not sure what her misery is but she should reply properly at least. I visited this morning and saw that the guy in produce section was not wearing a mask. I asked him why he is not wearing a mask in spite of a sign at the entrance for everyone to wear mask and gloves. Hi reply was that I am not comfortable with mask. There will come one day when spice hut will have two check out counters working in tandem without confusion! Until then, good luck getting out of this place in time. Often you will see one gentleman on a checkout counter doing something but not really checking anyone out. Wonder what must be so important. The snack section boasts decent snacks but again, insanely long in checking folks out. The prices are bit expensive when compared to say suvidha (that place is a fire hazard btw) or Around the World market (best Indian grocery store still imho), but the good part is its spacious, very close to where most Indians live and the snacks are a plus. read more

This is an excellent Indian grocery store (note the oxymoron) which is unusual. The chaat, snack bar has lots of goodies and I may soon add 10 lbs if I am not careful. The produce is cleanly organized. Not much variety in the other items. I would think they carry some items not carried by other Indian stores, because this store seems unique. Some of the owners are those who worked at other Indian stores in this area and the hired help also is from local Indian restaurants and they looked happy and eager to help. They must be treating their employees well! This store is a bit far from my house but whenever I am in that area, I go there to get the groceries. read more

Average Indian grocery. The price tags are missing on about a 3rd or half of the items. Walking around with a cart is sometimes a challenge. On the positive side they do have some snacks and sugarcane juice to order. The snacks selection - for example crackers is below average. Rude Management / Pathetic customer service by the person who claims to the Owner of the Store. We heard about there fresh snacks from one of our friends and happen to go there to buy there Gilebi and forgot at the store after buying. We realized after coming home and called the store if we can pick it up or do refund the next day as it was already late at night. The lady who picked our call said it completely okay and asked to come by the next day. Next day when we visited the person who claims to be the owner of the store happen to say that do not have that dessert and asked to come after 5:00 pm and when we requested to do a refund as it almost 30 min to commute from home just for one thing. Pathetic customer service. They sold me a stale frozen stuff and when I went to return it next day, they refused to take it, citing that they have not manufactured it. Yeah you did not, but you are accountable to storing it safely and selling it in edible condition. The person on the counter tried convincing me that there is nothing wrong with the product and also claimed that it's used in their restaurant too. What??? You use these stale / expired / rotten stuff in your restaurant. Thanks for letting me know. Very clean! Very organized! Is it because this Indian grocery store is new? Not sure, but I hope it stays that way. So many different types of snacks, dry and fresh, lots of different flours, spices (obviously hence the name - by the way why spiceS hut in plural and not spice hut? it sound better). Some of the produce is cheaper than other Indian stores, such as green chilis and there was good deals on rice also. This is the worst grocery store ever. We bought a 2 packets of Paneer from here. When I made the Sabzi, the paneer was tasting so bad and the texture was like rubber. I had to trash the whole sabzi. Next day, my dad went to return it and the Owner talked so rudely with him. Instead of apologizing, he denied to take it back even though my dad had the receipt. Such a horrible customer service. It is below average Indian grocery store. You can drive 5 more minute and get good grocery store. Staff are non professional. I saw many times, they have expired products. They do sell evening snacks but quality is average but we do not have any other option because they are the only store who makes evening snacks. They do not sells below 1/2 lb in sweets so if you like the sweets then ready to eat 1/2 lb :-) Overall below average and very poor staff they do not know basic etiquette. read more
