Worst customer service experience ever. Called in to order at 6:25pm for delivery.Charged my card incorrectly and will not refund. Told me"it's only a dollar it should not matter."The time is currently 7:48 and I have yet to receive my food. I have called the restaurant multiple times and they keep hanging up in my face. Very rude saying "stop arguing" over the phone. You're food is too mediocre for you to lack in anything else to survive business wise. Update:it is 8:06 and I barely received my food. Almost two hours to receive two items :) please keep in mind the restaurant is eight minutes away from my hotel :)! Update again. While eating , I discovered a hair that resembles something I hope and pray it is not. You be the judge .

It's 8pm and you've worked the whole day. You're tired, hungry and are looking to indulge in food you wouldn't usually eat if your willpower wasn't so low. Order Spicy Noodles! They have a huge variety so they probably have what you are shamefully craving. The service is quick and friendly and they have delivery if you can't be bothered to leave. My top choices for vegetarians are: 1) Veggie Lo Mein 2) Tofu in Peanut Sauce 3) Veggie Fried Rice Warning: avoid foods with the bamboo shoots bc they used the tinned variety and it smells funky

Chow Fun is the litmus test for Chinese food. If this basic dish fails the so does the restaurant. They passed. :)

Whenever I am in Montreal for business I stay at a hotel close by. When I have a craving for quick authentic Chinese food I come here. They are as authentic as you can get for a 'fast food counter'. These folks serve so many people during the day it is not difficult to see why their food is fresh and tasty. In the grand scale they are good, not the best, but I won't hold it against them.

My favourite Asian fast-food restaurant. I love the staff that works here. They always have a smile on their faces and that provides me with a sense of warmth. The food is really warm too! My favourite dishes are Pad Thai and Fried Rice. There was one time my food was too salty, they gave me a new one forthwith!

Come out, come out chicken, wherever you are.

When we decided to try noodle soup, we came straight back here. The restaurant was full, and they offer a wide variety of noodle dishes. You can also choose what type of noodles you want in your bowl so that was fun to select! The noodles were perfectly chewy and fresh. I ordered the medium‑spicy beef noodle soup, and it was incredibly good. I honestly wish we had a place like this back home.

I ordered noodle size #5, and the texture was just so-so--it didn't have the chewiness I was looking forward to, which was a bit disappointing. I also found the beef to be underwhelming. The slices were very thin, which can be nice in some cases, but here they felt a bit lacking in substance and didn't have much texture or flavor. It ended up being just okay and didn't add much to the overall dish. I ordered a medium bowl, but the portion was quite large--definitely more than I expected. A small would have been enough for me, so keep that in mind when ordering. We arrived around 8:30 pm and it wasn't too busy, so we were seated right away. The service was pretty good overall, and the staff was attentive without being overbearing.

The hand pulled noodles here are so good. My partner and I got the small bowls (braised beef and lamb noodle soups), but the portions are HUGE. Highly recommend going for noodle style 6 (thickest, more chewy) or 4. We also got the pork and cabbage dumplings, which are super juicy. This meal was very filling; we could've done without the dumplings, but they're too good to pass up. Service was ok since only one person was handling most FOH procedures. Atmosphere was also fine. It was just really warm, even with the multiple fans running (open doors, no AC), but it was to be expected with the pots of noodles cooking in the front. Since everything is so tasty and affordable, we'll try to make a stop every time we visit :) (Having trouble uploading photos - check Google review) BRAISED BEEF SOUP NOODLE (S) - $13.99 CAD LAMB SOUP NOODLE (S) - $14.99 CAD PORK AND CABBAGE DUMPLINGS (15) - $11.99 CAD

The Long Version: My husband and I had dinner here and we really enjoyed it. I initially was going to get their soup dumplings (their specialty), but when I looked at the menu, I saw that they had Laksa ($18.99), so I couldn't resist ordering that instead. My husband prefers pan-fried dumplings over soup dumplings, so he got the pork and mushroom dumplings ($14.50) and there was a $1.99 surcharge for pan-frying (the base price is for steamed). My Laksa was huge and delicious. The broth was so rich with coconut milk and a bit spicy. It was really flavourful. The noodles had a nice chew to them. The soup also contained some decent-sized shrimp, velvetized sliced chicken, cubes of tofu and a boiled egg. I wished it had some vegetables in though because I felt very unhealthy eating just starch and protein, lol. I did enjoy it though ;) I had one of my husband's dumplings and it was good. It had ground pork in it and chopped up mushrooms. There was a slight gingery taste to it. I liked it and my husband liked them too. Service was very pleasant. The server refilled our waters regularly and I like that the water had ice in it and was very cold. The restaurant is not too large and has seating on a main level then up a few steps they have 4 more tables of 4 by the front window. We walked there from our hotel, but as with pretty much all businesses in The Plateau it's street parking only. Review #209 (2025)

I was expecting a more flavored experience and maybe that is not what they do or I could have ordered differently. The menu is huge so it is hard to know where to start. We went here because of the good Yelp reviews. Were we arrived in Chinatown there were many other places that looked great, so we loitered at the door for a minute while deciding what to do. As we loitered a family came out and noticed us and asked if were were going to Keung Kee. We said we were thinking about it and they said just go, it is the best restaurant in Chinatown. Sold. We went in, up the stairs, waited a bit, and got a table. This is the kid of place you need to bring a lot of people because that is whet it is built for, the menu is extensive, and the portions are huge. We puzzled over the menu then ordered our food. We wanted a bottle of cold sake and the waiter brought it in an ice bucket. Nice. We started with the pork dumplings. The dumplings were very goof but came in a hot thick sweet peanut sauce. With a lighter sauce these would have been outstanding. The scallop was huge and had a bunch of stuff on it. There was some good scallop flavor but it was masked with all the stuff that tasted like old oil. The noodle dish was good but also had some old oil flavor coming from somewhere. All the meats and vegetables were nice and fresh but the good sauce I think was the source of the oil. We saw a table next to us had the pork chops and was asked, what are those? So we got that too. The chops were thin bone in with a batter fried then soaked in a vinegar sauce. These would have been good as our only item with a bowl of rice. Our co-eaters there had many good looking things. I would give this a try again but would bring a few more people so we could try more stuff. Total for all that including the sake was $100 Canadian. Not bad!

Snow peas sautéed with Garlic was clean, fresh and crunchy. Garlic flavor wasn't overly done. Beef Stew over Baby Bok Choy was tender and beefy. The Baby Bok Choy was hidden underneath in my picture, but it was there. There was also beef tendons as well which I always enjoy. Salt and Pepper Squid was a huge portion and similar to Pork, very crunchy. This was a huge portion. Got seated right away in a packed restaurant on a Friday evening. Service was quick and friendly (except for one dude who took exception to me want to pack my own leftovers). LOL.
