Chicken Greek Spiedie salad & regular cheese fries
    Dina J.

This place used to be a favorite but I haven't been since I got food poisoning from bad lettuce here in 2021 so decided to give it another shot. Sadly they were out of pork speidies so I had to get chicken. The good? The chicken was pretty tasty & the fries were yummy. Salad as a whole was good & the processed cheese goo was just what I wanted for the fries. The bad/off putting? I asked the cashier (who was very nice) if I could have some malt vinegar to go with the fries. She asked the older woman with short dark hair & glasses (who had already grumbled because I asked for my "sandwich" without bread so she had to put it in a container).. (I should note here that the older woman was already pouring malt vinegar into a larger dipping cup for another customer when I asked the cashier for some)... the older woman snapped at her "who asked for it?" I was at the counter waiting since it was to go so I said "I did please".. she looked at me, grunted, poured the thimble's worth of liquid gold malt vinegar and said "ugh this smells like feet!". I was excited for my food but her attitude was gross & I didn't need her to put that thought in my head As additional insult to injury, pretty sure I was overcharged for this.. Even looking at the different prices on the menus from the website, pretty sure a large Greek & a regular cheese fries (no drink) should not have been $18.77. The takeaway from this? It was ok, but not stellar. It was 2:50pm & they close at 3:30. I'm sorry if the older woman was just having a bad day, but that wasn't my fault. There are too many other places to give my hard earned money to & I won't be back.

    Pork Spiedie and Fries

Great food but that doesn't make up for the unfriendly / unprofessional staff. My pork Spiedie was wonderful unfortunately I ordered a combo with French Fries and fountain drink. The coke free style machine wasn't working and kept going into a maintenance mode. I informed the guy at counter, he tried it and same thing happened. He then told a girl who said give it 5 minutes. Meanwhile my food is up and I have no drink. Another older couple said "let us get something from refrigerator / cooler" the reply was no it will work shortly. The girl told guy cooking about the problem and he said "I don't care, that's not important" Finally after over 10+ minutes one of the girls called someone else and finally said it's ok to get something from the cooler. Luckly the relaxed and hungry me was in the establishment today or I would have requested / demanded a refund. To use an old saying. The big issue I see here is that "a bunch of Indians are running this business with no chief" to make things happen and ensure it's ran well. It's sad because they have good food but the taste you leave with isn't good because of the service. I was here a month ago also, food was great then but service was about the same except the free style machine worked at that time.

Chicken Spiedie with lettuce and extra dressing, Delicious!

This looks like a bookstore from outside. I love the vibe when you walk in. It actually feels like a speakeasy. You have to open a secret door when you walk inside the lighting the decor is all phenomenal. We did have to have a reservation as the place is completely booked on a Friday night, even the bar was too capacity. We were seated right away as we had reservations, the nice part about the reservations as well as you could text them to get those reservations. We had dinner prior to our reservations, so we didn't get a chance to try the food although the menu that was in a folded binder was lit when it opened a very cool little feature. The drink menu could've been a little bit more extensive for their specialty drinks, however, they had what seemed like hundreds of liquor options for you to make your own or to choose something on the rocks. Our server Nate was excellent, he suggested and recommended different drinks for us, he also brought over a little cheesecake because it was Amanda's birthday this week. Just an outstanding location vibe service experience. All of that. We would highly recommend it and if we're back in Binghamton, we would definitely go. If I lived in Binghamton. This is the place I would bring all of my guests to. Would we go back, absolutely, so much so that we are hoping or would love to see this in our hometown

We came towards the end of the lunch rush (1-2PM?) and were seated immediately. The ambiance is hip and buzzy, with lots of colorful decor. The menu had some very tempting options, even for vegetarians. We started with the buffalo brussel sprouts, a stroke of genius. I'd never thought about dousing this tasty veggie in hot sauce and blue cheese, but it makes sense. This was a very tasty app, and the sprouts were roasted perfectly with crispy outer skins which provided the crunch needed for a good buffalo dish. The special that day was some kind of french dip sandwich which one of my dining companions got. Another one got a cajun catfish sandwich and graciously offered me a bite. It was flavorful. For my main, I got the spring roll bowl and decided to add tofu. It had noodles, peanuts, a sweet thai chili sauce, and lots of veggies. It was MASSIVE. Prices are a little high but the portions definitely made it worth it. I could have taken half home as leftovers if I'd wanted. The restaurant also has a coffee bar which we decided last minute to partake in instead of venturing out into the rain to find a different cafe. This was such a convenient option because we didn't have to fight to find parking or brave the weather to go to a second location. I did a pistachio latte. Someone else at my table got a Mexican hot chocolate. I treated myself to the homemade whipped cream. The coffee hit the spot. Throughout the whole experience the staff was wonderful. Our food came out quickly, and the servers were very friendly and joking with us. I'd come back if I was in the area.

It was around 5:30pm on a Saturday and luckily there were plenty of tables still available. We started with the Buffalo Brussels Sprouts which I absolutely loved! These are some of the best Brussels sprouts I've had at a restaurant. The buffalo sauce was light and not overpowering and even the blue cheese dipping sauce (which I'm usually not a fan of) was pretty mild and paired well with the Brussels sprouts. A great start! We then shared the Large Rigatoni a la Vodka and added Meatballs to it. The Large is definitely enough for 2 people. The Rigatoni was cooked well and the vodka sauce was well balanced with the cream, tomatoes, garlic, and cheese. It wasn't anything spectacular but it hit the spot! My only complaint was for ~$6, I expected the meatballs to be larger than they were. The Meatballs had good flavor but for such a large bowl of pasta, it barely makes a difference. And those 3 meatballs should be $1 each at most, in my opinion. The Side Caesar Salad was a great pair with the pasta and for ~$3, very reasonably priced. All in all, worth stopping by if you're in town!
