The pizza at SPIN! is, of course, fantastic. Never been disappointed with the pizza, and it's right in the name! Nailed it. The sandwiches, unfortunately, I'll have to give up on. My partner and I used to eat them regularly, until her cold cut sandwiches started being made on bread so slender it might as well have been a single breadstick. So we gave the sandwiches a break, went back to the pizza. Delicious little mini mias, still on point. Then tonight (admittedly an 8:30 order when the place closes at 9:00), we try them again, both of us getting paninis. Unfortunately? Big mistake. I had forgotten how much I loved this place! It's just down the street from my newish job, I think this is the only one in the metroplex too. I have a rewards program with Spin! and during your birthday month, you get a free pizza mia (personalized pizza) and a side salad. I placed an order on my app for a 12:40pm pickup. I ordered the double pepperoni pizza mia and a side Caesar salad. I got to the restaurant around 12:35pm and parked in the pickup parking spot. They brought my order out pretty immediately after I called which was awesome. The pizza was so good. It had a little sweetness to it. It looks like a small pizza but it was very filling. Got my first order of pizza from SPIN! and I have to say that I am very impressed! Their is no other way to spin this review. ;) The crust, sauce and pepperoni were perfect. A perfectly thin crust, an even amount of sauce and cheese, and thin pepperoni that makes for a delicious pizza and without a lot of the grease you get from other places. Spin is awesome, I tried a few pizza places out in Texas. All were horrible and had great reviews. Spin is one of the few places I would consider having some real pizza. It's a little more expensive then those other places but worth it. My favorite is hands down and double pep. Deducted a star because they gave me the super run around to get my 5% off for signing up but when I went said it couldn't be done. So I wouldn't sign up for their rewards program since it's nonexistent in my experience. read more

Wow! I'm surprised I'm just eating here. I came in for lunch and was very impressed. I love the vibe of the place and it's really cute inside. The staff is super friendly and very attentive. I ordered the mini three meat pizza with a side of tomato soup. The pizza was so delicious and cooked to perfection. It was crispy and very rich tasting. I mean you could taste the sauce and the cheese. The meatballs were very delicious. The soup was super hot and tasted so good. Definitely not soup from a can. Couldn't be less Italian. The crust on the pizza isn't that great tasting either, and it's really greasy. Do not recommend. For them to put "Neapolitan Pizza" on their logo, and then basically take a dump on Naples is a shame. This is my favorite place to get pizza. The quality of the food is incredible! The ambiance is very cool. It's in a great location too. My best friend and I eat here at least once a week. Okay, I've since tried more things here since my last visit. And I can say that I'm not really a fan of the pizza, since there was no mistaking it - the crust, like the first visit, came out salty and more akin to tasting like a pretzel. Definitely not what I would consider to be Italian-style. But this time, I had the original Margherita. The cheese was better because they only use the mozzarella di latte (other pizzas in the menu consists of a cheese blend of three different types). The vibrant tomato sauce, the cheese, and the basil were all of good quality. My complaint mainly rests with the salty crust. Perhaps it's best to switch their "original" (aka salty pretzel) crust for another one that they offer. I also had gelato here - and the straciatella (milk-based ice cream infused with fine chocolate flakes) and strawberry gelato were good. I also sampled some others, and they were all good. I was surprised that they didn't have any single sorbet though. How do I compare the gelato here with others in Dallas? I still think Paciugo's is far better, since I find the flavors here a bit more subdued and more "milky" whereas Paciugo's gelato flavors are a bit more robust. But for Richardson, where at this time there is no Paciugo or even Super Chix (which surprisingly has amazing custards but only in three flavors), this might be the best bet for ice cream in town. And I also tried the blood orange sangria, which is something I've never seen in any other Italian establishment - to date. And I like it - it's sweet, but sangria is almost always sweet. What surprised me is that they put additional sugar on top of the fruit that was used as a decoration on top of the cup - talk about sugary overload. But... still good, and at happy hour prices, I wouldn't mind getting another cup. read more

Been here a couple times with my daughter, I think the first time it was really busy, this time not so busy. We ordered a 14 inch double pepperoni and it was very, very tasty. My only complaint, It was very, very greasy. Other than that, ingredients for good, the crust was good, all around good pizza. I guess one complaint is I think 14 inch is the largest they got. That 14 inch was just enough to feed two of us. I like to order a large enough pizza so there is leftovers the next day for breakfast and or lunch. $14 Plus tax for the 14 inch. read more

Decided to visit this place since it's close to my job. I ordered a 6 inch Magherita pizza with pepperoni and basil to go. it was ready when I arrived and checking out was very quick. The pizza was pretty good, however it's not Neapolitan pizza. The crust is thicker, but still good. The toppings were fresh and I don't have any complaints. If you download the app they will give you $5 off your first order so take advantage as I did! They also have great Tuesday specials for their larger pizzas. Definitely worth a shot. This pizza is good but the large isn't that large. I ordered a make your own large pizza online through their website which was easy and quick. The pickup process was arguably even easier. The customer service and accessibility of SPIN is great! I wasn't wowed with the pizza. It was good, defiantly fresh, but it wasn't amazing. For $18, I was expecting a large pizza to fill three people and have some leftover but we ultimately had to make salads so that we all felt full. I like the Neapolitan chain of restaurants. Their pizzas are tasty, thin crust and there are also a great choice of beers. They have a great atmosphere that is lively, bright and friendly. My favorite location is the one by SMU but this place is also very good. It's hard to recommend a specific pizza cause they are all very good and I usually try different ones to explore their menu. The food and management at Spin! Pizza are excellent. The service, however, is basically nonexistent. The restaurant is comfortable and roomy. This restaurant is convenient for lunch, so I go there at least once a week, or more. The customer orders and pays at the counter and then locates a table. A server brings the drinks and food to the table when ready. That is the last you'll see of the servers at your table. They clean the tables at leisure. If you need a refill or a box to place the remaining pizza in to take home, you'll need to return to the counter to make your request. Service has been pitiful since the first time I went into this restaurant. If the manager is around, he usually comes by the table to ensure that the food is up to your standards, and it usually is. If he sees that you need a refill or a box, he will ask and then tell a server to bring the items. Otherwise, if the place is not busy, you'll see the servers standing around chatting. I no longer feel the need to tip for no service; do people believe they are entitled to a tip simply because they work at a restaurant? If so, where did that nonsense begin? I rarely leave a tip on the table. I make sure I give it directly to the server who actually provided service. The rest of them need to understand that tips are left for the service provided, not for their presence at the restaurant where they are employed. The folks behind the counter are always great, but the "servers" provide little to no service once the food has been delivered to the table. The pizza and salads are good, so I have been ordering take out more often. I can go inside the restaurant to pick up my order, or the restaurant offers curbside delivery. Russo' s is just down the street, so I may try that pizzeria for lunch to see if the food is as good and if table service exists. read more

This was my first time visiting, and although the customer service was friendly, my expectations were higher than reality. I came late with a friend and ordered one of the personal sized pizzas. It was around 8 dollars for the smallest size and only pepperoni which I thought was expensive for such a small size. The pizza was not amazing to me, it came out fresh but the flavors weren't there. I also asked for ranch, and they only had a cucumber sauce which was different. I've never heard of a pizza establishment not having ranch! I do have to say that upfront the customer service was great, the guy that checked us out was friendly and made sure to ask if we went to UTD to give a discount (I'm not so I couldn't) but the manager was friendly and helpful as well. They have a system where you pay at the register but they give you your ticket to keep at the table because there's a wait staff. The system was confusing because someone checked on us at the beginning and nothing else, we had to go up to the counter to get things. I'm guessing they wanted a tip by giving us one of the tip folders with our receipt. We mentioned that there was a lack of service in the dining area and they were very apologetic and receptive.
