We came at an odd time. After lunch & before dinner. It's been a while since we had Peruvian chicken. We were in the area and we were hungry. Plus, I saw the word "Charcoal" and hoped this would be added along with Super Chicken in our rotation. There was no one at this location around 4pm. My worry was that the food wasn't being replaced as it was being sold and that it was sitting around. My fear came true. When we got the food, it was hot no doubt. Here are the gory deets. The chicken was good and had good flavor on the skin. But the chicken was dry. No hope. But they charcoal flavor was there. Too bad. The sides... red onion tomato salad was on point. The fried rice was kinda wet and not fluffy. The texture wasn't there. Then the mac n cheese. The macaroni was waaaaaaa over cooked and cheese sauce was thin & watery. Terrible. No fountain sodas so had to get 20 oz. bottles of Coke. Then the electricity went off for a couple minutes. Cause the fan wasn't running, the place was smokey. We had to pack up & leave. Staff was friendly. If cooked properly and fresh, this place would get at least a 4. But it wasn't, so I have to keep a "2". But actually, rounded to 2.25. Unfortunate. Maybe it was a bad day and/or time to go. Not a good first impression.

This place has quickly become my favorite Peruvian chicken spot in Northern Virginia! Chicken is never dry and the staff here are great Their yucca is soft & always made fresh, some of the best yucca I've had in the area!

I ordered Spin Polo on Grubhub tonight. I read reviews about how delicious the chicken was, and it liived up to the hype. The chicken was moist and the flavors jumped off the table. The yuca fries were large and crisp, Peruvian fried rice reminded me of Chinese fried rice but seasoned, and the plantains couldn't have been cooked any better.

This is the first time coming to this place and it was amazing. The sauces were really good and the chicken was not dry but flavorful! They work pretty quickly and it is a seat yourself kind of situation. There are not that many seats in the place so I recommend taking it to go or not going with a large group.

I'm a big fan of rotisserie chicken, so I was excited to try this spot. Can't say much about the service or ambiance since I ordered takeout. Food wise, I got the Half Chicken meal with a side of fries and salad. The chicken itself was cooked well, juicy, and plentiful. The sauces were all good, but their special sauce wasn't anything special for me. My only complaints was that the fries were soggy and the salad was warm/soggy since it was in the same container as the other food. Besides that, I overall enjoyed the food and recommend this place if you want good rotisserie chicken.

Great food. This out of way place isn't going to impress you for the setting, but the food will. It's an order at the counter kind of place and then relax and enjoy. Service is just the cashier, but again, here is about the food. This trip I tried the spin salchipapa, which was good and filling. I may try a different sauce next time.

Great peruvian chicken, this was my favorite place to order from on lunch when I used to work in the area. Definitely would go more often if I was still nearby. I always ordered out but I would pick up and liked the vibe there as well with fast, convenient seating and colorful decor. Between them and tysons super chicken, top spot for peruvian chicken in NoVA!

So thankful that Yelp introduced me to this place through an event because I'm obsessed! I decided to rope my family into this place too and they love this place too. I got the 1/2 Regular Chicken with yuca fries and pasta salad as well as the Lomo Saltado to share with three people. Everything was fantastic! The chicken was flavourful both on the outside and inside and tastes great with their sauces. They all aren't spicy in my opinion but that's because my spice tolerance is kind of high. The yuca fries were my fav, being crunchy and filling at the same time. Pasta salad was also creamy and tasty. The Lomo Saltado's sauce was delicious with the tender beef, sautéed onions and veggies, and potato underneath. Quality of the food is amazing, taste is on par, and prices are definitely reasonable for what they give you. Portions fill you up. It was only $30 for everything we got - worth it. Everyone seems to get it for pick up, so didn't have troubles eating at the place itself. Staff are nice. A must to go for Peruvian food or great chicken in general!

Let's just dive in... Pros: - DELICIOUS FOOD - I've have the chicken, yuca, white rice, black beans, plantains, and yuquita balls. The chicken is juicy and seasoned so well, grocery stores try their best with rotisseries chicken and as good as it is, it just doesn't compare. The yuca was perfectly crisp even though they were larger. Usually I don't even order yuca, because restaurants never make them crispy enough. The black beans were super flavorful, I could eat them all day. The plantains are perfectly sweet. The show stopper is the yuquita balls, mashed yuca stuffed with cheese (maybe Oaxacan or mozzarella), then battered (I believe) and fried. Whew! Just amazing and it comes with an aioli that's not spicy but slightly sweet and it's just TOO GOOD! - They sell frozen treats as well. - There are 3 diff sauces: white, red, and green. All of them are good. I'm not sure if the red sauce is supposed to be spicy, but it's not spicy to me at all. The green sauce has an acidic base which is a good compliment to the flavorful meal especially if you get any of the fried items. Cons: - small eating area inside, but that's to be expected of a Peruvian chicken place. Get your food and go home to enjoy it so you can eat messy and be free! Suggestions: - Order food for your next work event from here with their catering options, you will not be disappointed at all and your team will love you. - There's a Kingstowne location as well, visit them if it's closer.

We also tried the salteñas, and those were really tasty. Personally, I enjoyed them, although I know some of my Bolivian friends would probably disagree and say they were a bit dry. I actually liked them that way. The service was fine. Our server was attentive and brought everything out promptly. What we did not like was the billing situation at the end. The check included a 19% service fee, and then there was a separate receipt for an additional tip with suggested amounts of 18%, 20%, and 25% (if I remember correctly). Since I thought the 19% service fee was already quite high, I asked the server if that fee was the gratuity. He said yes. When I asked why there was a separate receipt asking for an additional tip, he didn't really have an answer. What made it even more concerning was that the suggested tip amounts appeared to be calculated on the total bill, including the 19% service fee, rather than just the food and drinks subtotal. That felt very misleading. If you decide to eat here, make sure to read your receipt carefully before paying.

The service was excellent and accommodating. I was impressed because I know large groups can be difficult to wait on, so was very pleased with the service and how quick they were to get our orders in and us served. We ordered a variety of appetizers, such as the the empanadas, calamari, and garlic shrimp. My favorite items were the empanadas and calamari, which were extra tasty with the accompanying sauces. We also ordered a variety of grilled meats, including the two large Parrillada meat platters and picanha . The accompanying sides we tried were the fries, cheese rice, fried yucca, and plantains. I really liked the plantains, but the cheese rice was not was I expected. It was more like grits than cheesy rice. The meats were cooked to how we requested it, and of course tastes especially good with the sauces. My favorite cuts were the strip steak, beef rib, and picanha. I didn't really care for the sweet breads, but that is a personal preference. Value wise, the Parrillada platters could easily feed 4 - 5 people, so we had plenty of leftovers. I would definitely recommend checking out La Estancia if you enjoy grilled meats!
