I was visiting from west coast to see family. Grew up in NJ and was craving the pizza flavors I grew up eating. We got take out. One plain pie and one with 1/2 mushroom 1/2 onions and bell peppers. Both pizzas were delicious but the stand out was the Chicken Francese with lemon sauce and pasta. Outstanding! Very tender chicken cutlet and the sauce was a winner. Prices reasonable too! Will definitely be ordering from them again!!!

3% Credit Card fee The Spinachio pizza is the best slice to get here! Or at least it was my favorite out of the 3 I tried. I also had the square vodka and a plain. It was about $10 for the spinachio and vodka slices and the plain was over $3. All slices have a very thin crust so the pizza is not too doughy. I didn't love the sauce on plain slice, a bit on the sweeter side for me, but still a solid slice. I was happy that all the slices were very hot when I went to eat them! I tend to find pizza places never get the slices warm enough. There are several tables inside and outside for dining in. Even though the tables outside were in the sun I'm not sure if it's cooler sitting outside or inside on a warm day. Overall I'm glad I took the time to travel to try this place!

With ample outdoor seating, Spinachio is a welcome upgrade to this strip mall. The garlic knots are huge and perfectly seasoned. We opted for the pepperoni pizza and those curled cups filled with hot honey did not disappoint!

Spinachio Pizza in North Haledon, NJ. Come try out this delicious pizza place! Owned by two sisters (I LOVE that). @SPINACHIO PIZZA specializes in their signature spinach pie and is serving some new menu items like the all-new Spinachio Stromboli stuffed with their secret Spinachio mix, melty mozzarella, and a blend of savory ingredients wrapped in golden dough. We've come here a few times for different pies and every pizza has been amazing but the Burrata pizza we got last night has been by far the best we've had. I haven't tried anything other than pizza so I cannot speak on other items but I'm sure it's all delicious. All the workers have also been very nice every time we've gone. Would absolutely recommend Inside is really nice and they also have nice outdoor seating

Everything I tried here was amazing! Cannot go wrong with the spinach and burroni pies. They also have fried Oreos that were to die for. The cheesy bread was also amazing. Staff were so friendly, as well.

The spinach pizza was spot‑on, also had the vodka pasta with grill chickens and the staff were really nice.

Great italian bread with an amazing olive oil for dipping. Olive oil is nicely spiced and includes a shaved cheese. Fried calamari was perfectly done. They offer mild or spicy marinara and we were able to get both for the table. Yummy! Great marinara!! Complimentary salad is a nice plus especially these days. Huge serving. Classic salad ingredients except topped with minced italian meats and cheese. A light italian dressing. De-lious. Chicken parm entree was thinly sliced and perfectly fried, lots of cheese in a wonderful marinara sauce, side of pasta included. Pork braciole over homemade gnocchi was amazing. Pork was fork tender and expertly stuffed and seasoned. Gnocchi were soft and fluffy. Another huge portion. I had it for 3 meals. Crispy salmon over mushroom risotto was perfection. Salmon was crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. Risotto was beautiful made with lots of mushrooms. So creamy! Just a bit too much finishing olive oil for our taste. Cappuccino was delicious with a big whipped cream top. Tartufo ice cream is traditional and delicious. A wonderful restaurant.

Mussels with a Vino bianco, herbs and filone toast for the appetizer and the Ricotta Cavatelli (alla mema) with broken meatballs and sausage sugo. Good grief the vino bianco/herb cream sauce on the mussels was incredible! Really! I could not get enough of it. I don't believe we've ever seen mussels on their menu, but man! These were phenomenal! The only complaint would be that there were not enough of the mussels. The ricotta cavatelli was also amazing... as are all of Viaggio's pasta dishes and sauces. Gelato stawberry/maple gelato was maybe the best gelato I've ever had. Not sure if they have this on their 'normal' menu, but if they do, I'm going to need some more. Sadly, once we 'dove' into the food... we forgot to take pictures. :-( Maybe next time! Just go. You won't be disappointed.

The décor is over-the-top festive and stays up through the end of January, which makes it a fun post-holiday outing. They're even already taking reservations for December 2026, which says a lot about how popular this place is during the holidays. We had a reservation and were seated right away, which wasn't surprising since it was pretty quiet after the holidays (I've heard December is a totally different story). The restaurant has a main dining area along with smaller dining rooms, and the atmosphere was calm and relaxed--great for conversation. This would also be a really fun spot for a Christmas party. Service was friendly, though it could have been a bit more attentive. Our food took a little longer than expected to come out, especially considering how uncrowded it was that night. Food-wise, I had the espresso-crusted hanger steak, which was decent. I'm gluten-free and appreciated that there were some options available, though dessert for me was limited to ice cream or sorbet. They also had a festive cocktail menu, but I opted for wine instead. Portions felt a bit small for the price, and since Bottagra does lean on the pricey side, I was hoping for a little more value. Parking note: they offer valet on weekends, which is good to know. Overall, Bottagra is more about the ambiance and holiday experience than the food for me. While it's not somewhere I'd go frequently due to the price point, I'd happily make it a once-a-year tradition to enjoy the decorations. If you love festive vibes and Italian spots with personality, it's worth checking out--especially during the holidays.
