An older employee told me about a promotion while ringing up my purchase. After checking out, I grabbed a few more items so I could take advantage of the deal she had mentioned. When the discount didn't appear, I asked her about the promotion, and she responded in a rude tone, saying she had no idea what I was talking about. I understand that people may not remember every interaction, but this happened within just a few minutes of our conversation. The response felt dismissive and unnecessary, and it left a negative impression. I still love Miniso as a brand, but this location has been disappointing compared to others I've visited.

I'll be honest, this is the smallest and most barren, cleared out Miniso that I've been to. Canmake shelves were decimated and it a lot of the make up samples were broke and dirty. I wouldn't want to touch any of it or purchase any with my bare hands. NorCal doesn't have an equivalent of Ebisu Life or Fukuya Life, so aside from some other miscellaneous places, this would be the only place I would think to get imported make up off the top of my head and to see it in that state, especially if I really needed something (for a con, etc.), I would NOT be happy. Other than that this location is mostly gifts, blind boxes, make up (no matter how decimated) and very little other goods (electronics, home goods, snacks). They often have sale items and yesterday, hats were 50% off. Last night, went to Claire's go get my second ear piercing re-pierced! I originally had two piercing on both ears, but I have not worn two pairs of earrings in years so the holes closed. Anyway, prior to getting my ears pierced, I had to sign "Release of Liability/Waiver of Claims" as the Sale Associate prepare the pre-sterilized studs that directly penetrated my ears. Ouch! Ha-ha-ha. J/K :-)! My total came up to $17.32 which included the piercing and sterling silver stud earrings, plus a big bottle of ear care antiseptic. After six-weeks, I get to remove the studs and put on new earrings... SWEET!
