Swiss, tomato, avocado omelette. Yummy and plentiful portion.

Don't underestimate this place as it's really great! Waiters and owner are super friendly and attentive. We had avocado, Swiss and tomato omelettes which came with perfectly seasoned home fried potatoes and perfectly buttered toast. Also enjoyed a solid cup of coffee, which they never let go empty. Excellent vibe with great tunes playing in the background. You know... the type of music you can actually sing along to like Whitney Houston. Refreshing indeed! A real gem in the neighborhood.

Avoid at all costs. Since I live around the neighborhood I decided, why not try this diner? I always walk past it anyways. And BOY was that a mistake? I saw bad Yelp reviews before coming here, but I thought to myself, "Nah it can't be that bad."YIKES, I should trust these bad Yelp reviews... Walk in and greet with a vibrant hello! I thought to myself wow pretty welcoming great start! I sat down and ordered orange juice, Philly cheese steak, eggs, toast, Canadian bacon, and home fries. The Philly cheese steak tasted ok, can't complain. The eggs, Canadian bacon, and home fries were pretty bland. It didn't taste like there was seasoning (salt) at all. I had to add ketchup and pepper for some flavor. The Canadian bacon was so greasy that a whole pool of oil was on the plate. That plate was pretty inedible. The toast was pretty good. I mean how can you go wrong with bread haha. As I was chatting away with my boyfriend, one of the staff yelled over to another staff, "get the check for the Chino/China." When I heard that I was a little drawn back just because we never called for the check because we wanted to chat and drink our orange juice before we left and is that really how you address someone? Wouldn't the ideal way be "get the check for table#"? While waiting for our receipt back from the waiter, the staff started to talk negatively about us. We wouldn't stand sitting there any longer and just wanted to leave. Zero stars if possible.

I have an old tradition of getting breakfast at a diner on the first Sunday of the month. Lately, I been going by myself since, most of my friends are trying to eat healthier. I decided to visit this diner since it's relatively close to where I live. Upon entry, I wasn't greeted or directed to anything. So, I waited for a few minutes and sat down at a booth. I waited for another 10 - 15 minutes until I had to flag someone to retrieve a menu. And then another, 10 minutes before I was able to flag someone down to order. I ordered the basic scrambled eggs with toast and fries for $6.50. The food is on the pricier end especially, with the smaller quantity. Other diners do offer early bird specials, such as a free beverage. The food was on par with other diners. Nothing out of the ordinary, except how quick I got the bill before I even finished eating. Nor did anyone check in on me. A bit disappointed with the lackluster service but, I will visit again.

A small diner that has been here for ages. Once you step in, it feels like you stepped back in time. It's not a bad thing, just some good old nostalgia of an old school diner/luncheonette. Service was great and food was solid. My food took a little long to come out, but you can see there is only one cook working the grill. My He-Man breakfast had perfectly made eggs, crispy bacon that's not too fatty, a nice crisp sausage and my French toast perfectly done. The coffee was pretty solid for diner coffee. Would not recommend to sit and dine in if you're in a rush, but fine if you're looking to sit and chat for a while.

Another Brooklyn Dinner which hits the spot with people who gave great service. I had eggs over easy with a huge bake potato along with a cups of coffee. I was in the area for a doctor appt looking for some basic breakfast food boom Spiro's was in sight. My meal hit the spot eggs made perfect with potato. Like I stated in previous reviews I love the unlimited coffee Brooklyn is still the bomb people.

We love this place! Great food, especially the breakfast! The omelettes are all great and came with toast and home fries. Also love the home fries! Tuna melt and Monte Cristo (challah French toast, turkey, ham and cheese) is great too! The staff is also so friendly and helpful!

This old time styled diner is always welcoming - the servers would see us get seated and bring us waters and menus. They would come back regularly to check on us to see if there is anything we needed - more water, different drinks or simply if our meal was as good as we had hoped it would be. But what really gets to me is how the regulars just knows all the staff. It's such a friendly environment that despite not being a regular, I'd still feel welcomed. Their food is just fine but I think that's because I usually order their salad while my boyfriend orders the Greek chicken dish (can't spell it!). Maybe next time I'll try something else!

It is open from 6am to 8pm. Their food, service and environment is very classic and in old fashion. I just wish my grandpa colud be as healthy and happy as those 2 old men, the owner and the cook.

You can clearly see the amount of black pepper on the potato salad ! Way too much!

These feel like the chicken tikka masala or general tso's of Greek food and I know there's a universe of dishes I've yet to try. But these dishes are delicious and I will keep ordering them. I visited at around 10pm on a Saturday night to find the place about half full, with fun decor and white lights that felt way too bright for the time of night. The lights made it feel like they were catering more to a family friendly crowd than for a nightlife crowd, which I suppose makes some sense for Park Slope. Despite the place sitting half empty, our server didn't show up to fill our glasses or ask for our orders for quite some time, and I saw the manager talking to the staff about something gone awry. Our food also took quite a bit to arrive. The saganaki and octopus and beans dishes were stand outs and executed with aplomb. The shrimp and swordfish skewers and spinach rice were quite plain and I would have gladly skipped these dishes had I known. I didn't have a good sense of portions and I wish the server would have guided us a bit more, as we definitely over ordered. While I won't be back, it was a perfectly serviceable meal for the area.

We ordered a chicken eggplant sandwich which was very tasty but dry needed some type of sauce. I had the lamb kabob and they were good I didnt care much for the seasoning which was on the meat vegetables and the pilaf. We also had a lamb schwerma plate that was very dry and not good. It also needed some type of pita to make it more palatable. The baba/eggplant appetizer was very good as well the pita. I do recommend not leaving the eggplant seeds as they are hard and unpleasant. Maybe a good place to enjoy an outside table wine appetizer but skip otherwise.

It's super cozy inside, and they also give you pillows to sit on. Our server was really friendly and gave us great recommendations. We ordered a few different things to share for our party of two: - Bacon wrapped dates (5/5) so good!!! - Short ribs (5/5) I actually don't usually eat beef but these were so good and not dry. The orzo on the side also balanced it out well. - Kale salad (5/5) This seemed like a simple salad but it was so yummy and dressed well. The pine nuts tasted good with this too! - Vegan fruit sundae (2/5) Sadly this was the only thing that missed the mark. I didn't like the raisins and the almonds didn't really work well with everything but that was just me. The sorbet was also pretty sour. The best thing about this was the white cream on top (it tasted like real cream)
