I ordered the gyro platter that came with a side, pita bread and a salad. I substituted the fries for the lemon potatoes and the lemon potatoes were my favorite item on the platter. My favorite Greek spot in Bay Ridge right now. The Chicken Souvlaki Platter was delicious. The chicken was tender and grilled perfectly, salad was refreshing, and fries were definitely housemade. I usually dip my fries in ketchup, but these were great without it. I love that they also included olives and a dolmade. The tzatziki sauce was also on point. Good neighborhood Greek spot. I'm there most often for lunch, and they have a reasonably priced lunch special for souvlaki sandwiches and fries (or salad for a small upcharge). I usually get the chicken souvlaki, and the pita arrives stuffed with tzatziki, fries, tomatoes, onions, and lots of chicken. Their house salad is one of my favorite types of salads, so I often pair that with the sandwich for a very satisfying meal. It's a nice small restaurant and is very clean. You can watch them cook the food in the front and service is friendly. Bathroom in the back is clean. The beef and lamb platter $18 and bifteki sandwich $10 was what I ordered. The beef and lamb is very tender and salad was fresh. The fries on the other hand was very soggy. Definitely one of my favorite fast casual Greek food places in Bay Ridge! I found their Bay Ridge location after visiting their sister location, Kuzina in Staten Island. After falling in love with the food at Kuzina, I knew I had to pay their Brooklyn location a visit. They have an extensive menu of different options to choose from. From sandwiches, to salads, to platters, and sides, there's no way you wouldn't find something you'd like! They offer lunch specials if you come on weekdays. They also have different dinner specials available throughout the week so be sure to call to see what's cooking! My favorite things to order are their dinner special salmon platter, spinach pies, hummus spreads, their chicken souvlaki pita sandwiches, and their grilled chicken breast over Greek salad (w/ extra dolmades). They are very generous with their servings. You can also change the sides and upgrade for an extra charge if you do not want want the classic rice or french fries that come with your platter. Just be sure to let the servers know and they'll be happy to substitute or help you customize your meal to your needs. Their staff is super friendly, kind, and knowledgeable about their menu. The cooks work very hard and so do the other employees. The employees treat the customers like family. Was passing thru from Long Island to NJ and decided I was in the mood for a Greek salad with Gyro meat on top. 10 years ago I had a client in Bay Ridge and often visited a Greek restaurant on the east side of 278. I drove to it's location, but the building was gone, and I think is now an apartment complex, so I used Yelp to find SomethingGreek about a mile away. The meal was spectacular, and I would definitely order it again. Super generous portion of gyro meat, right off the spit. They offered small or large, next time I would do small. I have Been coming to this restaurant as a novelty for many years. Before working in civil service I was a restaurant manager for two different Greek restaurants for about 15 years so I know my stuff immediately when it comes to Greek food and presentation and Of course portions and what is supposed to go with certain things which is one of my two primary complaints. One of the biggest slaps in the face to any customer is the actually charge them for a condiment that actually goes with the meal. On this case it's the pita bread ... I would say tzatziki... Which is everybody's favourite when it comes to Greek food and a must with any meat dish, but I will say they gave me a 2 ounce one which is a paltry size to give to a customer and to charge me $1.50 for another cup which is only 2 ounces. In my previous restaurant where I was a manager our cups were 4 ounce large soufflé cups which were overflowing with Suszycki and if a customer asked us for an extra one it would be no problem as extra customer service to throw in an extra one in the bag. Under no circumstances should a Greek restaurant ever charge person for pita bread ... when there would be any kind of souvlaki or meat dish especially Greek sausage. The next complaint is showing the picture and size of one measly sausage which is cut into two pieces would you pay $10 for that? I was so disappointed to see there was basically no sauce inside which is usually like a white wine sauce with capers which is very traditional and should always be accompanied with Greek sausage and you can see the size of the sausage compare to one single lemon wedge. This is completely unacceptable and while the sausage was excellent, it does not warrant a price Tag of $10 and pita bread should be given with it, I'm much much better choice for Greek food in Bay Ridge would be the Greek restaurant at the corner of 86 Street and 4th Avenue which without question gives extra sauce and pita bread even with a souvlaki which I could have gotten more meat for $4 and change with Pita bread and Tzatziki no extra charge. I most likely will not come here again and just go to the one on the corner of 86 Street. Are used to come in here and sit down while having the appetiser and I could have sworn that the sausage was a much larger portion what would have been fair would have been at least double what is shown in the picture, I swear it was only one sausage put on the grill that was cut and half although it looks like to one of them is very small and regardless you can see the size of the lemon wedge next to it and no extra sauce and capers which I was really looking forward to read more
