While we were eating inside this nicely decorated establishment, a homeless person presented to our table twice asking us to give her food. It appeared that she was going to grab food off our table. I was finally able to waive down a waitress and inform of the situation. Finally, the kitchen staff and management were able to escort her out of the restaurant. Our experience at Ciao Mambo was indeed an adventure. The food needs some real attention for flavor, melding of combinations and more development. While the staff hustled all night, I feel that they need better kitchen support to vastly improve the dining experience at Ciao Mambo.

However, one look at the menu and you realize they they are innovative with menu design and constantly pushing the limits of unique food combinations. We ordered the "Best of Bash" burger with blackening seasoning, bacon, goat cheese, onion ring, arugula, garlic-basil mayo and a splash of sirachi aoili. The burger was dense and somewhat dry, while the sirachi was a small dollop it was tasted in only one bite. The beer battered onion rings were heavy and sweet. The cajun fries were good. The burger, fries and rings are decent, but not remarkable. I felt The Burger Dive may thrive in competitions, while serving the masses is more of a challenge. Rather than dwelling on my assessment, please give The Burger Dive a chance and rate them on your own. It is hard to besmudged a business when they have a large and loyal following.
