Ok about the food- it had a med flavor, however my salt intake for the "month" has been met after my 1 meal of salad and about 20 of "the works" fries. Cool and quirky atmosphere. I went for lunch and it was super packed but I got my food v quickly. And was pleasantly surprised by the portion I received! I recommend this spot to people who need a semi quick lunch break and want something that's not super heavy. read more

Food is pretty good and consistent. Docked 1 star cause the value of some menu items is questionable. The hummus and pita side dish we got was like $7 and while the pita was plentiful, we got like a thimble of hummus. Fortunately we had some homemade in the fridge to supplement. I LOVE this place. A great local fast casual restaurant with a pretty extensive beer list. I got the bowl after having a day of no vegetables and it filled me up on tons of healthy food with some fun mixed in too. I live halftime between NJ and NYC and though we have a plethora of eateries, I would more that welcome a Spitz. The staff was also adorable! The blonde girl who is an NYC enthusiast and the bar dude (who I think I overheard was new) were very friendly and made me feel at ease when dining alone when I was on a solo trip. It was delicious and had so much variety between the falefel ball, the veggies, the feta, and I chose chicken as my meat. The balsamic dressing is exactly what it needs. This is the second time I try this location with no good results. I ordered the street fries with chicken. The chicken looked like it had been sitting out all nigh. I know these fries are usually good, but my order was not. It be helpful if your workers knew about gluten free options. I think they forgot about me cause the order took forever to come out. i used to like Spitz, but the quality for the price doesn't add up. soggy mushy wraps that fall apart, stale paper thin tortilla pita --whatever they think it is it's nasty. i don't know how it can be stale dry and soggy all at the same time, but they managed to pull it off. the meat is overcooked and days old. i appreciate that they use spices and herbs, since most places in Utah tend to be very bland. however, there is so much going on flavor-wise that it's like the food is competing with itself. or rather the over the top flavors and sauces are covering up the terrible quality of meat. yet another disappointment in a long line of restaurants that continue to make Utah a terrible place to dine. read more

I almost never wrote a review but I had to this time. This place is hands down delicious and amazing. The employees are super nice super friendly and even got my pup a water bowl. I had the most popular wrap and my girlfriend had the flautas. Both were so delicious that I had to fight off not eating the second half of my wrap so I can eat it again later. We came here on a weekday around 5pm after a hike in Cottonwood. For how amazing the food is, I was surprised to find the place empty! We were the only patrons until about 6, when we were leaving. I had the loaded street Cart fries and they were incredible! I got them with lamb and honestly, I've never had such great lamb before. Not gamey in the least. My husband got one of their wraps and loved it as well. We will be returning next time we're in the area - the location is much more convenient than the downtown one - and beating the crowds was an added bonus! read more

I had to place a fairly large order for an office lunch today and I was incredibly impressed by Alyssa. Her Customer Service skills are exactly what they should be in the Service Industry. Well done Alyssa! The food was amazing! I ordered the Street Cart Doner with the Beef & Lamb and it does not disappoint. What really blew me away though were the Street Cart Fries! I normally would give this restaurant a 5-star review, but today it was only worth 3-stars. I cater lunches for my company and Spitz has always been reliable and fast. However, when I went to pick up my order at the pick-up time, I ended up waiting 30 minutes longer to receive my order. It was a big order which I completely understood and the restaurant was very busy. When I received my order and payed it was almost $200 more than what I had previously paid on past orders. Instead of $10.50 per person it was now $14.50 per person. On top of that, when the wraps were served they were nowhere near the quality we had previously received. The chicken texture and taste was very strange(almost tasted like false chicken) and did not taste like their previous chicken. Instead of the wraps being filled with vegetables, meat, and sauce it was only bread, sauce, onion, and the weird chicken. I don't know where the quality went in Spitz's food and I hope it is not here to stay. read more

So we ordered our meal. I ordered a falafal donar... came without the falafal. Asked the waiter to bring ot on thw side. 25 minutes later after everyone has finished eating and i had to remind him again they finaly show up. Food is tasty for what it is but the service is 1 star at best. Wish i hadnt tipped up front! Also had to remind him of our drinks.
