    Street Cart Doner Wrap

I recently moved back from Atlanta and no establishment compares to the amount of flavor at Spitz. A large range of menu items from Wings to Baklavas there is something about taking a bite of any dish here and experiencing the different flavors burst after every bite

Berliner bowl w/rice & falafel. So good.

It was not my first time ordering, but definitely a better-rounded experience this time and now I fully get it: fries just don't travel well. But here? They were a nice addition. The vegan gyro (falafel) was all the things: hummus, pickled onion and carrot, roasted corn, lemon herb tahini dressing, kalamata olives, cucumber, tomato, lettuce, and fries, all wrapped in pita. Even after sitting for two hours (thanks, distractions), and getting steam-logged, it still hit hard in the flavor department. My taste buds rejoiced. As for the MediBowl? That's tomorrow's journey. But I'm excited. If it's anything like the last bowl I had... whether it's close, totally different, or just on par, I'm in for another flavor-packed experience. Wrap was a flavor bomb, as I'm sure the next will be, nice to have vegan options available for delivery.

What a bummer. I used to go to Spitz a few times a week when I lived in Cali. When I lived in CO, I went a fair amount as well. Moving to AZ, I was stoked to see Spitz available so decided to go. What a let down (like a said). Not only did the service totally suck but the chicken I got (my go-to order is always 3 sides of chicken) was just BLECH. I mean, I ate it and it was fine but it def wasn't like it used to be and the seasonings were so insanely over powering, it was an explosion of flavor in my mouth but not really a good one. My husband seemed to like his salad and then later his wrap (he got one to go), but also, it doesn't seem like his order (he always got these things over the years) changed that much depending on the restaurant location. The chicken at Spitz however has gone through a metamorphosis since 2011. Any who. I got Spitz out of my system and probably will never go back as I'm pretty sure there are better Med restaurants closer to where I live that have faster service.

Always enjoy their OG Gyro and the kids lavash wrap was a bonus. Both were tasty! And appreciate the to-go packaging too. Definitely recommend.

Really good, fast Mediterranean food. Convenient, many options, good flavor profiles, they also offer delivery and a rewards program. A great, faster food option that is on the healthier side.

I am a HUGE Greek/Mediterranean food fan! Especially when I'm traveling for work (why I'm here in Phoenix), and most food option to order aren't the healthiest, I always find this to at least be a halfway decent alternative. I ordered the chicken Medi bowl and it was so incredibly flavorful. I took the picture before I mixed everything together, but I was glad to see it did mix well. There's nothing worse than getting a bowl and trying to mix all the ingredients together, but you end up just taking giant bites of hummus with nothing else. Their portion size felt like just the right amount, with a good balance of chicken, veggies, quinoa, and a sauce to mix in. I was originally going to immediately give this place 4 stars max, because it's my biggest pet peeve when places don't give silverware with their takeout orders (I luckily had a fork from something else I ordered, but it was flimsy and not made for this bowl for sure). But after eating it, the flavors were out of this world that I did feel like it was deserving of 5 stars. We have some pretty great Mediterranean restaurants in Boise, but I think this definitely competes!

Kind people behind the counter. Delicious food, the Sparky Bowl is a must try! Definitely recommend coming here!

    "Chicken shawarma " aka garbage

First of all, what the heck is this chicken seasoned with? It tastes like rock salt. Not sure what in the heck they POURED into this to season it but they used the whole damn jar.And is pita supposed to be this dark?!? Absolutely disgusting. Couldn't finish.

Some restaurants chase trends. Others just quietly keep making really good food year after year…read more This is one of those places. I'd been here several times years ago, and after coming back, I'm honestly wondering why I don't eat here more often. I ordered the chicken shawarma, a stuffed grape leaves platter, and hot tea. Everything was exactly what I hoped it would be. The chicken was well-seasoned, tender, and wrapped with the classic toppings, and the portion was fair for the price. Speaking of price, the value here is honestly hard to beat. The stuffed grape leaves platter came with hummus, tabbouleh, pita, and hot stuffed grape leaves. I had completely forgotten they serve them warm, and my brain needed a minute to recalibrate because I'm so used to cold dolmas everywhere else. Once I took a bite, though... yep. That's how they're supposed to taste. Soft, flavorful, perfectly seasoned, and absolutely delicious. I ended up adding some of the hummus and tabbouleh to my shawarma, which made an already great sandwich even better. The service was just as impressive as the food. My server was genuinely kind, gave me a few extra minutes when I couldn't decide, checked in without hovering, and even offered to package my hot tea to go when he noticed I was still working on it. (For the record, ordering an entire pot of tea for one person was an ambitious life choice on my part.) The dining room isn't huge, and there's also a small market attached, which adds to the charm. This place reminds me that consistency is underrated. Years later, I came back, and it was just as good as I remembered. Great food, great service, great value. I'll try not to wait so long before my next visit.

Got the food fast and the rose water lemonade was good. Mango juice tasted like Jumex and that's yummy to me lol Waitresses were nice and attentive. Bathrooms and the floors in the dining area need some TLC. Hopefully the kitchens kept up with. Waters we did not drink. They should probably clean up the walkway to the bathroom too there was just a bunch of stuff. They also have a store attached which was cool. We didn't look but still cool. Chicken shawarma was bomb!

The Vegetarian plate was also generous and was enjoyed by my friend. It included three crispy falafel, hummus, tabouleh salad, baba ghannoug, 2 stuffed grape leaves and tahini sauce with pita bread. We look forward to returning. Highly recommended for delicious Greek food and generous portions at a fair price!

It is a restaurant with a mini market which makes it feel so authentic. However, upon my first visit I didn't really look around the market but I did purchase a zero calorie Salaam cola which tasted exactly like Coca Cola. I ordered chicken shawarma plate and for appetizers I got the falafels. I started with the falafels and they were surprisingly not dry at all. I was not sure what kind of sauce it was served with but it paired well with it. The plate portion size is no joke...Everything on the plate had a huge portion size: the salad, hummus, rice, and meat...all of them...Every bite with the yogurt sauce was flavorful. And then I tried a bite with hummus, rice, chicken and the sauce...wombo combo flavors. Unfortunately, I couldn't finish all of it so I had to take a to go box home. On my next visit I ordered the beef shawarma plate and I was not disappointed at all. After finishing with an empty plate, I walked around the mini market. I noticed there was allot of Middle Eastern food, candies, and drinks. I really enjoyed my Salaam cola on my first visit but they did not have the zero calorie version in stock...I did research on the brand and I found that they created the cola to provide aid to countries like (free)Palestine and Yemen which I deeply support. Besides the food, I also saw keffiyehs on display which I liked as well. Overall, I rate this place a strong 10/10. I will come back to try other entrees and desserts like their baklava cheesecake. Everything looked soooo appetizing on the menu and since I was going to meal prep this week, the Al Sham Chicken Combo caught my eye. For $15, you get little cute pieces of chicken shawarma with 2 dips! I was in love with the red sauce and wish the garlic sauce was more garlic-y but it was good either way! The kofta was great as well but would definitely come back more for their shawarmas but it's definitely the best bang for your buck I also got some baba ganoush on the side to dip my fries in but unfortunately, I thought the baba ganoush was too lemony/there was too much sumac added so it wasn't as enjoyable. Most baba ganoush I've tasted in my hometown also had a smokey flavor to it from the eggplant so it really couldn't compare.
