Starting off you couldn't set a resignation or get put on any list. Extremely overrated, while great view this is a tourist trap! But waitress was very nice, but forgot to add cheese to my brothers steak tacos and pieces of steak wayyyyy to big

The lobster roll was exactly what I was looking for. Amazing atmosphere right on the water.

A stick or whatever that is - fried underneath the sweet potatoes

Ambiance is always nice with the view. In fact, i go there very often. But this time, the experience was less fun. I got like a fried stick in my food. Food: Food was quick to arrive and tasted good. Flour Wrap was a bit elastic though. However or sadly, i had a fried stick or whatever that was, which was definitely not sweet potato fries( see pic). It could have been dangerous swallowing it Service: I showed the fried stick to the waitress and did not appreciate her response. She said " oh it is not so bad!" I replied " if i was eating quick, it could have been " I am on vacation and I let it go. I did not wanted anything to ruin precious moments .

We loved our lunch here on a sunny Saturday afternoon, sitting by the water felt very relaxing and everyone so friendly! We had fish tacos, which were very tasty but the filling a bit watery so the tortilla got a bit wet too. Still the haddock was really good and the friench fries delicious! We also tried the chicken tenders (huge portion!), chicken caesar wrap (so fresh!) and chips and queso. Gotta love the drink menu also. We had spicy margaritas, daiquiris and a cocktail called a St. Germain which comes with ginger beer and prosecco (and St Germain liqueur). They give you the small prosecco bottle so you can top up your drink, I loved that! Fun place, we look forward to coming back.

    Lake Champlain-- stunning view 2024

Hands down my favorite food and dining experience in Burlington VT. An oasis for amazing food and views, placed right on Lake Champlain. Awesome service on top of that. I really enjoyed their crispy chicken caesar wrap which came with homemade potato chips. Lots of flavor and fresh ingredients. As proper New Englanders-- my grandparents really enjoyed their clam chowder and fish N chips. The seafood was great quality in both dishes. We can't wait to be back soon!

Splash is serving great food and great views on a floating dock at Lake Champlain. My group ordered drinks and dinner. I got a virgin strawberry daiquiri which was delicious. I just ordered chicken tenders and fries because I wasn't feeling very adventurous. The food was delivered only about 5 minutes after we ordered. Everything tasted good and the service was very friendly.

Closes in 17 minutes....but not seating new customers. It's 7:40 pm on the last beautiful evening of summer in Vermont. So disappointed.

Cute little waterfront gem. I got lobster roll. A little pricey for the amount of meat I got. And they don't split checks---really inconvenient. Service was prompt.

The haddock inside the coating was good, but the coating was very greasy. I only ate 3/4 of the single filet.

We were greeted warmly and they said it would be about a 20 minute wait, but we were seated in 15 minutes. 5 mins either way isn't significant to us--it's been 12+ years that we have been kid free, so we have time to spare! Outdoor bar on the deck and Adirondack chairs waiting for us to relax after a 3 hour drive in the country. Soft rock playing in the background add to the ambiance. Lake Champlain never disappoints and the layered mountains on the other side add a serene touch. Update after meal: Served within a reasonable time. Haddock was a single filet, but quite greasy. We also had the fish tacos with corn tortillas. The sauce was "okay", but the contents were generous. The sweet potato fries were too skinny to be fluffy inside. The only item we finished were the two tacos. Two points of good service were that they replaced the regular fries with hot fries when we requested it. And the server shared our feedback on the fish n chips meal with the manager who removed that charge completely. We tipped the server 20% on what the bill would've been because the problem wasn't his fault, but he made good on it. 5 stars for the pre-view experience 3 stars for the food 4 stars for the service Averages to a 4-star review **In summary, the reason to visit this establishment is for the view and the good attitudes.

Stopped by here to snack and have some drinks before the Champlain Dinner train. The cocktails were delicious and the food was really tasty as well. Our server was great. It's a very very casual quick dine in spot.

We took our mom out for her birthday and stopped by this place since it was near the lake and already had great reviews on Yelp. Luckily, since they don't accept reservations, they were able to seat out party of 16 without a long wait. The staff were welcoming and attentive. The view was definitely breathtaking and worthwhile as we were right along the water. As for the food, everything came out right away. It was delicious, the portions were good, and were reasonably priced. Definitely a great spot for seafood and a beautiful view!

The location of this restaurant is awesome. You sit out at the water, and on a beautiful day like I had, there's nothing like it. The service was good, no complaints. The food was okay - simple, kind of fast foodish? I had the fish taco it was good. Husband had the chicken wrap, he thought it was a 7 out of 10, so that's good! I'll bet it's hard to get in during peak hours and season though. We did order drinks, they were okay, nothing unusual. I would stick to beer and wine. Overall I'd go again for sure. It was a nice experience. I'd give it a 3.5 if it was an option.

This was mainly due to the great service and delicious meals ordered by each of us in our family of three. Our table was never left waiting and the food was served hot. Our meal choices were varied, including apps such as steak tartar and cheddar ale soup for one and the meatloaf plate and the turkey burger for the others. Everything was made with original flavor additions such as homemade sauces, fresh breads, and unique use of herbs and spices. Lastly, I was told to mention that the hand cut fries were exceptional. Since we visit Burlington often, we look forward to returning to the Farmhouse to try other dishes on their menu or just ordering the same meals since they were so good. We all agreed that this restaurant has definately moved to the top of the list for our next trip to Vt.

We ordered the rolls, tuna crudo, oysters, tagliatelle (2 orders) and a fish dish. Only the one fish dish was good. Everything else was fresh but not at all to our taste. Because the food was fresh, we rated it a 3 to be fair. Obviously a lot of people like it, so maybe check some of my other local reviews to see if our taste aligns, but I would not go here again. Not to mention that it was very expensive. For the above with a couple drinks was $315 including tip. And the portions are fairly small, so come hungry, leave broke and still hungry.

It's easier to get a seat in spring summer or fall when they open up their outdoor seating and so can host more guests. You have to go to put your name on the wait list regardless of the season and even in summertime with more seating it can be a 20-40min wait. They play good funky music which can sometimes be overwhelmingly loud inside (I.e. a jock jam will be playing at club volume level), that's one of my few complaints.
