There were only two parties in the diner but this is an awesome place with a CHEAP price tag! I got a grilled chicken panini with mozzarella, sundried tomatoes, and tomatoes. I got it served with French Fries and a side salad (which was basically a full salad). If you are looking for a place with a lot of options, this is a great place. Also great for vegetarians. I come here for breakfast nearly every Sunday. It's a wonderful place. Prices are reasonable, portions are good, service is attentive and the inside of the restaurant is clean and sanitary. The only consideration is size of the space -- it is not as roomy as other diners, and you may not get your choice of seating when it is busy. But it is worth it either way! Ate here about 2 weeks ago with my daughter for the first time during brunch. The best mushroom soup we ever had!! We even ordered one to go. Eggs and Salmon dish were cooked to perfection. I was very impressed with the quality of the food that was served. Even down to the Cole slaw and pickle side with my BLT tasted super fresh. Waitress was super nice, attentive and warm. Sat down at 8pm with only 4 other diners there. Waited 35 mins for a turkey club with onion rings. But we didn't get onions rings. Also ordered steak with no mushrooms because of an allergy yet my steak was served with mushrooms. I paid for my ginger ale and left. The first thing I immediately recognized upon walking in was a typo on the menu, spelling omelette, "omelett." I decided to give it a shot anyways. I was seated right away and the waitress was friendly. I ordered the Nutella, strawberry and blueberry crepe. Within 5 minutes of ordering, the food came out. The food itself was very average, my only 2 criticisms being that the whipped cream - so.ething not included on the menu description- was a little overpowering and the food was messy and was hard to get on the fork. Perfect place to go if you like to sit in a booth for 30 minutes with no one to take your order. Even better when you make eye contact with the waitress and she blatantly ignores you when you ask her to please take your order. I normally dislike diners because they're typically quantity over quality. However, I've now come here twice and both times have been impressed with the quality of their food and service. You can tell that whoever's cooking the food really takes pride in what they do. Both times the salmon was cooked perfectly. The berry salad was excellent, the chicken in it was cooked well and the blue cheese incorporated smoothly. The wait staff have been consistently friendly and attentive. Add to that the reasonable price of their meals, this is probably the best diner you'll find. I haven't tried their breakfast though, so I guess I'll revise if necessary. read more

This place is nasty. The bar has juices, the food is dry and tastes old. There's so much staff but they barely have any customers. Messed up the order, and the waiter did not even know what was inside a burrito. Save your time and money. read more

Staff was friendly but the food had minimal flavor and didn't seem all that fresh. I had an omelet with mushrooms and roasted peppers. I saw the peppers in it but when I bit into them they literally tasted like nothing and the eggs tasted like almost literally nothing. And the potatoes were just not good in texture or flavor. The food was fresh and the place is new and clean but the service is painstakingly slow. One latin waiter was really attentive but some of the staff is cold or scrutinizing to the point of rudeness. While you're bored to tears waiting, there is not a single piece of art or item to look at on the wall. I would give the service a 1 and the food a 4. read more

Very welcomed addition to the neighborhood! Food is excellent-way better than New Rochelle Diner (like seriously, no comparison) and less expensive. I don't usually write reviews but this needs attention immediately. I went on a Monday afternoon, the place was pretty much empty and there was only one waitress who I presume was the owner. The service was terribly slow. We didn't get not one refill. The owner and the I think her husband or business partner were bickering in the bar area and then went to full blown argument in the kitchen which we could hear. The atmosphere wasn't like your usual family friendly diner which is usually happy and full of energy. They aren't family friendly since there's no kids menu and they didn't have a booster seat for my daughter but DID have a high chair for a toddler. The food was subpar. I ordered chilaquiles with steak and I pretty much only ate the steak. The sauce was full of pepper flakes and they just didn't taste right. The eggs and potatoes that came with my family's meals were BLAND! Not an ounce of seasoning. I think they're just starting out but they need to get their act together if they want to stay open. Otherwise they are going to end up on an episode of Kitchen Nightmares if it were still running. read more

Bare bones food, bad service, terrible experience. I work nearby & checked it out with a few coworkers - 50% of us received the wrong food, which was then second-guessed by our server. One member received the wrong food the SECOND TIME and just gave up as lunch hour is only an hour. The food received by the remaining 50% was disappointing - a chicken parm sandwich on small white toast? A tuna melt that promised tomatoes on the menu, but arrives without them (AND THEN I WAS CHARGED EXTRA FOR THEM?), a shrimp quesadilla that was cheddar cheese and a few pieces of shrimp in a tortilla? Our server was trying hard, I suppose, but I don't know if the kitchen is COMPLETELY unfamiliar with what the menu says/promises with each dish (we had to ask repeatedly for the sides that were listed as coming with our sandwiches...), or if no one cares/ is trying - but the 6 of us left disgusted and fed up with ordering/eating basic diner food being such a frustrating chore. Tried this for dinner and was very disappointed. While the staff was friendly the service was very slow. The choice of soup was lobster brisque or chicken and rice. We ordered three lobster brisques and after waiting over 30 min they told us they ran out and brought us 3 chicken and rice that were sadly lacking in chicken. The main courses were below average for diner food and were missing sides that we had to ask for. Maybe they're better at breakfast but I doubt we'll be back to try.
