There is hair in my food !!!
Nijah F.

Me and my fiancé was eating tonight and I saw that it was a hair under my food. We spoke to the owner and he literally just struck his shoulders. And said well. Please don't eat here.

RAW BURGER!

This establishment needs to be shut down! All these recent reviews are horrible and for the right reason, I wish I checked the reviews before going here! My friends and I decided to go here due to another restaurant having a long wait. From the way the diner looked, it seemed to be like an average diner, but nothing about this was average. The service was horrible, the waiter was on his phone on tik tok. We physically had to get up and approach the waiter to get his attention. Too bad 20% gratuity is automatically due to having a large party because it was not deserved whatsoever! Besides the lack of service, the quality of food was also lacking. I ordered a medium burger and it was literally raw, the cow was still mooing. I'm sorry but it looks like they slapped the burger on the grill for 5 seconds then served it. I went home after this and puked because it made me so sick. Not only was my food atrocious, but so was most of my friends. Like another reviewer said, you can tell the waffles were made earlier in the day. They were extremely hard! The sampler we ordered was the cherry on top. It came with only 2 mozzarella sticks, 2 chicken tenders, a few fries, and a few wings, all for $18??? Are you kidding me? The portions are extremely small and the food is SUBPAR! The worst quality ever and they want to charge more than a normal restaurant. I could've gotten better quality food and service at the local McDonald's. Avoid this diner at all costs!

Great food....the diner classics are readily available. During the day into dinner their are lunch and dinner specials that comes with soup . The place is located conveniently on central ave in Scaresdale. Big diner great fir large groups or perfect for two . Plenty of parking and save room for dessert.

I ordered the pancake special with chocolate chip pancakes, bacon, and sausage, along with eggs, over hard. It came out exactly how I wanted and was cooked perfectly! The food was really good, and my drink was absolutely perfect. On top of the great meal, the service was really nice; the staff were attentive and made the whole experience seamless. Our server gave us a list of specials for breakfast and lunch and also recommended a couple of dishes they could do, the birds nest being on of them. We both chose the birds nest, and I got a couple of modifications. It normally comes with over easy eggs, bacon and bread of choice, but I got scrambled eggs, turkey bacon, and some corn tortillas to keep it gluten-free. It was phenomenal! Hot and fresh, right off the grill. Gonna have to come back for this one more time before we go back to Florida. We took a walk for about 20 min along the Bronx River Pathway after because it was filling. Might be a cereal for dinner kind of night!

I started off with a nice glass of Chardonnay to start off the weekend. We had been to the diner and pizzeria place down the road which we did not enjoy. We immediately returned to Nautilis. I highly recommend this diner to all my friends and families When we go out to dinner, I immediately mentioned to my husband this diner and tell him I want to go here. I gave and give it a five star PLUS rating and review once again. For dessert, we ordered two large pieces of strawberry shortcake. My friend loves the strawberry shortcake, and we brought her one for dessert. She called us this morning to tell us it was the most delicious cake she ever had. This diner outshines all others. In my mind, it is the best diner in all of lower Westchester County. I was so impressed with the service and quality of the food. I called Teddy this morning, the owner ,to express my happiness with the food and the service. The diner has an extensive menu of all liquor and wines, and has an extensive menu of entrées, à la carte items , appetizers, desserts, and breakfast and lunch items. When you've tried all the rest, now try the best. ! Do not pass go direct to the nautilus diner in Mamaroneck, New York. Signed a very happy customer. They have updated the bar and the dining room. The wood is lighter. The bar doesn't smell like old beer any more. We get there at 11:30. By noon, there's already a long wait. Service is friendly. The chicken wings are a top three rendition. We always order ours crispy. They stopped serving celery on the side a while ago. As a purist, I bring a ziplock bag of celery sticks. I say raise the price of an order of wings by 50 cents and serve celery again! The waffle fries are great. They have a surprisingly diverse menu with a big selection of beers. There are desserts, but I have never been disciplined enough to save room. It's cash only. This is the platonic ideal of a burger and wing joint. Set the celery sticks free!

Still consistently delicious. Large meaty wings and drummies, connected. Lots of sauce, to the point when you break them apart, there's a lot of splatter (I think I hit a kid with some sauce about two tables away). Service very good, prices comparable to other wing places. I asked my waiter how many pounds they sold on Super Bowl Sunday. He mentioned "between 18 and 19 thousand pounds!!!" Wow, double wow. Vast majority are ordered in advance and this year they cut off orders about a week before the game. This trip was a solo run for me. My wingmen were nowhere to be found. 4 very sloppy stars

Walking in I was properly greeted and seated immediately. This place looks like a large cafeteria with a lot of windows. The server came over and I requested hot tea with lemon and honey. He came back with all that I asked for except for the main ingredient...The TEA BAG. From that point it just did not feel right, instead of getting up and leaving, I asked for another waiter. Another waiter turned this entire experience around. I ordered a vegetable omelet which came with home fries and toast. I did not like the home fries in the past because they were organic, no fluff, no extra, just straight up cubed potatoes. The changes made this meal well worth the trip. The homes fries have onions and peppers, a big plus for me, so the home fries did not disappoint. The omelet consisted of broccoli, onions, and mushroom. I was offered hot sauce to spruce up the taste and give it a kick. I do believe and always will believe that the server can make or break the experience. I now have BLD on the list of places to go. Good job Lazario for converting this review from a 2 star to a 4.5 star but rounded up to 5 stars. Inspire more, Yelp more!

They have onsite parking . I was greeted upon arrival by the hostess and immediately seated. They have a mixture of booth and tables. The diner looked clean. I saw a waiter bus the table after someone left. They cleaned the tables, chairs, and swept the floor. I find that some places forget to sweep after customers and I hate to step on food so I was glad to see that being done. My server was kind and attentive throughout my visit. I ordered the country skillet with soft scrambled eggs and pancakes. The country skillet is delicious. Crisp home fries, assortment of veggies alongside bite sized pieces of bacon. The eggs were exactly how I like them. Most diners overcook them even when asking for soft scrambled. I would definitely recommend this dish. Unfortunately I didn't like the pancakes. The texture seemed off, almost gritty like and I couldn't get past it. So I took one star off for that. Both dishes were large portions and could be split easily by two people. Overall I would recommend this diner and I plan to come back again.

To start, we shared the crispy brussel sprouts Charleston style. These were delicious with the tangy sauce and large flakes of parmesan cheese. For my main, I had the brunch wrap. It comes with chips, but I swapped for fries for an additional charge. The wrap was a good size; I had half and saved the rest for leftovers. It was tasty, but not a ton of flavor. The tater tots were nice and crispy and I enjoyed the fresh tomatoes and avocado. They gave me a huge portion of crinkle cut fries, which also would've been great with a little more seasoning, but they were good when dipped in mayo. My husband got the shrimp and grits and appreciated the large portion size as well. I had a lemonade to drink. It was refreshing since it wasn't overly sweet. Service was great. I look forward to trying the rest of the menu!

Aesthetically, each table feels like a meal at a family dinner table; it's clear that they wanted that vibe to be translated, and it's done quite well. This is also supported by the service being very friendly and helpful in general. To eat, I had the French toast burger with sweet potato fries. Some others with me had various sides like regular fries and tater tots, and the same thing was present on them that tends not to be at most places: they were all perfectly salted/seasoned. It might seem immaterial, but it's a very good signal when something that simple--yet often neglected in favor of just using condiments to mask it--is executed well. If you're a burger place with fries that taste great without the need for a sauce or condiment, you're doing something right. The French toast burger was likewise fantastic, combining sweet and savory in a great way. To drink, we all got a communal pitcher of the only frozie they had available at the time: a kind of jungle juice vodka slushie. It, too, was great--worthy of multiple rounds. All in all, here's a place that I can't wait to give another visit.
