I remember this spot being a Brazilian steakhouse many years ago and didn't realize it had been turned into a diner. Decided to stop in for a late lunch. Me and my mom decided to mix and match the Falafel wrap and the Gourmet Chicken Wrap. The falafel wrap was soooooo good and it came with a side of tzatziki sauce. The falafel was well seasoned nice and crispy and yet still moist. It comes accompanied by tomatoes and onions and lettuce to keep everything fresh and of course a side of fries. The Gourmet Chicken Wrap was okay. A little bland but comes with a side of balsamic vinaigrette. The cranberries added a nice sweetness to the grilled chicken while the feta gave it a nice saltiness but having that after the falafel gave left to be desired. The options of wraps was definitely a different take than usual diners so I will be back to try some more! read more

Have been here a few times and it was fine. Ordered a Cobb salad today for delivery and it was almost inedible. The chicken in top was fine but the bacon was undercooked and soggy and there was hardly any in the salad. And it was practically swimming in a very runny guacamole. My wife and I went for early Sunday dinner. She said she'd been recently and the food and service were excellent. Well, they were. Our host was warm and funny and took us to a perfect table. Our waitress had the biggest smile. My wife got the fried fish and said it was great, crisp and not too greasy. I'll start out by saying that we are new to coming to this diner, but have been repeat customers for over 10 visits. We've gone in the day during the weekends, and nights during the week. Never had we felt more rushed than today. Everyone that approached our table was making us rush, from ordering, to paying. Mind you our bill was over $100, and this was during breakfast. I even asked the waiter if he was throwing us out because he brought out to-go containers when we were visibly still eating. There were empty tables all around, so it wasn't a matter of people waiting to be seated. I'm kind of upset because in this economy these establishments should be happy to have patrons, the least they can do is let you sit down and enjoy your meal. We had a guest with us and I was so embarrassed because I had hyped the place up prior to our arrival. I'm glad that this wasn't our first day going there because I would never return. Food was trash . Gimme a break with Diners serving food that's overcooked or has the wrong ingredients and looking the customer dead in the face while you lie about it. Maybe the FOH doesn't know when something is wrong that they serve? But to actually disagree with the customer when you're clueless is bad. The waiter truly disappeared until the end of the meal when we showed him the food. So no refills on water or beverages nor did he check when the food was served. This was one of my favorite diners in the area. Through the pandemic they were great. Food was always good. Service for the most part was always great. However now that the pandemic is over, the food has gone downhill, the prices up, and the portions smaller. I understand prices are going up everywhere. Raise your prices I'm okay with that. Came here for brunch with my husband since we were in the area for something else. Service was good. Our waiter checked on us several times and coffee was refilled promptly. There was a wide selection of food options. I got the Eldorado omelette and my husband got the chicken and waffles. The chicken looked more like chicken tenders but my husband preferred that. This establishment needs to be shut down! All these recent reviews are horrible and for the right reason, I wish I checked the reviews before going here! My friends and I decided to go here due to another restaurant having a long wait. From the way the diner looked, it seemed to be like an average diner, but nothing about this was average. The service was horrible, the waiter was on his phone on tik tok. We physically had to get up and approach the waiter to get his attention. Too bad 20% gratuity is automatically due to having a large party because it was not deserved whatsoever! Besides the lack of service, the quality of food was also lacking. I ordered a medium burger and it was literally raw, the cow was still mooing. I'm sorry but it looks like they slapped the burger on the grill for 5 seconds then served it. I went home after this and puked because it made me so sick. Not only was my food atrocious, but so was most of my friends. Like another reviewer said, you can tell the waffles were made earlier in the day. They were extremely hard! The sampler we ordered was the cherry on top. It came with only 2 mozzarella sticks, 2 chicken tenders, a few fries, and a few wings, all for $18??? Are you kidding me? The portions are extremely small and the food is SUBPAR! I was in the Central Avenue area and I stopped by the Eldorado Diner to grab a bite. First of all the manager sat us down and I appreciated his sense of humor. He said welcome you can sit here and enjoy the view of Central Avenue. (lol) Then I had an amazing waiter his name was OSIAS he was so attentive kept coming back to the table topping off water, coffee etc. and they were busy. Just a good guy. If you go there ask for him and you will experience what I did. I ordered a simple omelet but this one came out quick and fresh. You know it wasn't sitting in the kitchen. We were on Central Ave around 10:30 pm and we were hungry. We saw that most restaurants were already closed . As we were driving we noticed that the Eldorado Diner was all lit up so we decided to give it a try. We were not disappointed! The menu was great because all the classic diner food was offered. The Pepsi and selzer from the fountain was fizzy and just right. The coffee was freshly made and the tea came with a little pot of hot water. The turkey club was delicious and their home fries were out of the world. My daughter enjoyed her BLT and grits. My mixed drink had enough alcohol and was satisfying ! To order, I ordered the cappuccino which in my opinion was nicely made and was very delicious. I scanned the menu and thought I wanted an omelette, then I wanted pancakes, but I settled on eggs Benedict, which in my whole life, I've never had. This one was delicious. The Diner is quite a big and is good to bring the family, staff are very friendly and are on top of the table, they offer a nice color book and crayon for the little ones. Where do I begin? 3 1/2 of us came here for a quick bite to eat today. What we had ordered were: French Onion Soup, Chicken Noodle Soup, BLT, Philly Cheesesteak and a kids Grilled Cheese. . . French Onion Soup - good Chicken Noodle Soup - okay Philly Cheesesteak - Gross Grilled Cheese - more like non-grilled cheese BLT - pathetic - had 3 strips of bacon in total with the entire sandwich consisting of lettuce and tomato. Also I asked for the Mayo on the side... I got mayo inside and extra on the side. Wth?! Okay - so that was just the food. Our waiter, though nice, he lacked a sense of urgency. When we asked for the check he said okay and disappeared - when I turned around to find him he was sitting at the counter with his back to us playing with his phone. I tried getting his attention with a few polite 'excuse me's' but he ignored us and continued to play with his phone. It wasn't till I gestured to my mother an obnoxious WTF is he doing did a waitress see an get his attention. *check your bill if you eat here - he added my daughters free drink in to the bill and tried charging $1.50... I had to correct him on that one. I also observed 1/2 through eating 2 old ladies calling our waiter over to correct their bill... Not sure if he's a flake or just someone trying to get one over on his customers. Either way, glad we all caught the errors! I am a fan of the original eldorado diner and was happy to discover this one since I am always in this area. This diner is known to be open for 24 hours but this location is on limited hours due to COVID. I was here for late-night munchies and breakfast, I always refer to their coffee as the magic coffee since they always love to refill your cup and you end up with so much energy in your system!
