I've come here twice now when I'm in the patriots place area. If you're just hanging out with friends, or want to kill time before or after a game at Gillette stadium, this is the place to go. There was a pretty good live DJ, the place is super clean and plenty of space, the staff is great (a special shout-out to Monica who was super welcoming), and the food is also good. The prices are fair. We ordered the Buffalo wings and they were good! They were drenched in sauce, it was more like they spread it on before cooking and the chicken soaked it in. They were juicy and only a tiny tiny tiny bit spicy. There's a few things to do at this venue including bowling, which we did and top golf (+ other games). The fun is endless. If you go with a big enough group to top golf I think it's worth it, but with a small group it does come out to be expensive since it's per hour ($100 I think) and not per person. read more

Well, all I have to say is this was not a proper experience. Me and my family (4 people) came here and did the golfing suite ($50 per hour). The problem was not the price the problem was the service. We are all right hand players and our bay only had left handed clubs. Kindly asked a worker for assistance and she immediately says and I quote " I'm on break!"Food was decent not no Ruth Cris lol. But was fine the chicken tenders are very dry. I got the pepperoni pizza it was very burnt crust and pepperoni but still had okay flavor. Ambiance is pretty good nothing special, cool signs in the bowling section. Golf bays are very bland. Finally they forgot to hand us our credit card. Decent bowling alley for a fun night out with some drinks, for those who regularly bowl, the lanes don't seem to be well maintained.

I think this was a horrible experience because when we walk into the restaurant /bowling alley we asked how long for an alley to open and the woman at the front desk said about 10-15 minutes and told us to sit down at the empty restaurant tables. after about 20 minutes we asked the woman if there are any alleys opening up and she said she will check but 10 minutes later she never came to tell us. we were sitting there for about 45 minutes in all then we left this was a horrible experienc. read more

Ehhh was definitely a bit let down by this place. We attended for a company event and it was very clean, nice staff but overall it just feels like there isn't a lot of pride in this business. The lanes are clean and new but it just felt like a pretty void experience. The scoring system set up was a little slow, the price is fairly steep, and the golf area was just so disorganized and confusing no one could figure out how to use the indoor driving range. Front desk staff extremely rude and treat customers terrible. One woman working had a very bad attitude when asked a question about the cost of bowling. One of the members of my party complained and in response they stated to not come back. This a really fun place to go if you have some time to kill. It would be great for a family lunch and activity afternoon or a date night. The time to kill is important, however, because it takes a while to get an alley and even longer to get your food/drinks. We came on a Veterans Day afternoon. A holiday. Nice, colorful balls with Patriots logos, fast ball returns and table service featuring a great menu, lots of drinks and bowls and friendly, helpful staff. 70s through 90s popular music playing over good speakers make the experience complete. The food is great, with tons of choices. Servings are quite large and attractive to look at. Food is tasty. My pizza was quite big (two could eat it happily) had a fresh, brassy sauce (and plenty of it) on fresh made crust, good cheese and toppings. My daughter loved her burger and also the fries, even though they seemed like they came from an Ore-Ida frozen bag, they had an interesting seasoning on them that she really liked. My son really liked his big, chunky chicken fingers and the fries. We all had something left over at the end. But we weren't too full to not order a Ghirardelli brownie sundae. Good stuff. There are lots of salad options, super burgers, steak and chicken choices as well. At $5 per game (and $4 for shoes), it's not a bad way to spend an afternoon. THE BEST PART? They didn't rush us on Game Day. We went here for a bite to eat before the Patriots game yesterday. It's conveniently located right near the stadium, and it is large enough to hold the crowds who want to eat before the game. We were seated by the second, smaller bar near the bowling lanes. There were plenty of televisions mounted all around the dining area so we could watch the pre-game action. Our waitress asked if we wanted to hang out for a while or eat right away. I thought that was awesome to ask us, and we jumped on the opportunity to hang out without feeling like we were wasting her time. We ordered drinks - a martini and a beer - along with an order of nachos. My martini was delicious, some coconut/pineapple concoction, and my husband's beer was Magic Hat from a bottle. The nachos were fine. They had a cheese sauce on them instead of real cheese, but they were tasty. The place started to fill up with more fans, and the restaurant got a nice vibe going. We had bowling lanes to the left and right of us, and they were well used. I decided to check-in on Yelp, and an offer for a free appetizer popped up. I showed it to the waitress and she said, "Great! I'll take the nachos off the bill." How great to have a reaction like that! As time went by, we decided to order lunch. My husband got the cheeseburger with fries. He said it was good, and he liked the special sauce they put on it. I ordered the parmesan chicken fingers. They were good, though very salty. It was a generous portion, but the salt was a little too much after a few pieces. The ranch dipping sauce was your run-of-the-mill jarred ranch dressing. This place is a joke, $25 to bowl 1 game, went to the lanes, they are covered with food and sticky from drinks being spilled, went to throw a ball and my shoes were soaked from the spilled drinks so i couldnt slide, went to talk to the 15 year olds running the place and was cockily told what do you want us to do about it, I told them give me a new pair of shoes and clean the spilled drinks up from the floor.. they said theyd be down, 45 mins later we were finishing up our games and still hadnt seen a new pair of shoes nor were the drinks cleaned up, waste of money read more

Poor service. Called earlier this week to request a reservation for 6 they told us that we needed to book 2 lanes which would cost a ton of money. We then asked how busy they would be around 8 on Saturday and they told us it's usually dead. So of course we arrive and there had been a 3 hour wait all day long. This is a great family fun activity for a Saturday afternoon. We've got a few times in the past couple months and we have had a blast each time. My husband and I go with our three-year-old and nine-year-old. It's great because the bumpers come up for the children and automatically go down for the adults. They also have the rolling ramp for our three-year-old so he can just roll the ball down it. I took away one star as a warning, Don't get the beer on tap, their lines are very dirty, and every time my husband gets the draft beer it's disgusting. Get a bottle instead. I get the tall Long Island iced tea and it's great. Will usually get the loaded nachos and that's a good appetizer for all of us. I've read some reviews about the bad cheese on the pizza? We had an absolute blast at a 30th birthday bowling party this past Saturday afternoon. I'm surprised to see so many poor reviews of this place after the great time we had! Pros: -nicest bowling alley I've ever been to! Everything is new and in great condition. Each lane comes with a large couch/bench style seating and table that makes it great for a larger group. -the balls have patriots logos--so cool (if you're a pats fan like me, of course!) -bowling alley turned dueling piano bar at night? Pretty cool that one place can cater to so many different ages and interests -huge space, 8 lanes of bowling but a giant bar, lots of high tops and tables for dining, a large separate seating area, and another small bar area -reservations are accepted for lanes with a deposit--on the expensive side but would be good for a party to know the lanes are guaranteed -awesome food menu---we opted for traditional appetizer foods (chili nachos--amazing, wings, fries, etc), but there were also sandwiches, pizzas, and sushi on the menu Cons: -super expensive to reserve lanes in advance -be sure to check the Gillette schedule before planning to come here as it'll be packed -only 8 lanes, so on the smaller side for bowling alleys which can potentially lead to long waits All in all, a really cool experience at a "high end" bowling alley---and great food and drink options! read more

The concept is very cool and my boyfriend and I have been dying to check it out. We decided to have a date night with my cousin and her girlfriend and unfortunately we will never be back. For starters I tried making a reservation online two days prior to our trip and no one returned my email. Fine, I called the next day and the voice recording hung up on me without giving me options to make a reservation. Awesome. On the day of our excursion we stopped in around 5:30 knowing our preferred time of bowling would be 8:30 after dinner. I had to prepay for the entire party and give shoe sizes. I'm not that close to my cousin to know her measurements, sorry. So after forking over $80 I was handed a vibrating pager and placed on a 3 hour waiting list. Then was told the pager won't go off outside of the building. Um what? Finally 8:30 rolled around and we arrived to bowl. We were told there was a $5 cover, which we didn't end up paying because I was there 3 hours earlier and already paid $80 and that's absurd. And continued to wait for another 20 minutes. The whole experience is insanely over priced and if you're paying $18 a head to bowl for a hour you would expect some sort of privacy, not sharing your space with another party. On top of that the drinks are outrageous. Charging more for drinks than I've been in night clubs in Boston and Providence, crazy. Not pleased, do not recommend, save your money and go elsewhere. read more

A couple of families had dinner and bowled there on a Sat night a couple of weeks ago. We had fun, and the food and the service was good. The kids then went and got ice cream at a nearby spot while we parents waited for them. When the kids came back, the bouncer would not let them in. It was 18 degrees out and the 5 kids were between the ages of 8 and 15. All the bouncer would say to them was: "21 plus!" Made no attempt to solve the problem, reach the parents. or keep the kids warm. The kids had to call us on their cell phones to tell us they were stuck outside. When we asked what was going on the bouncer basically said you shouldn't be bringing your kids to a bar. You can imagine how upset we were, since we had just spent 3 hours and lots of money there. read more

We went to Splitsville before the Patriots game opening night. We all thought it was really cool to be in the same room with radio personalities that we all listen to daily. Unfortunately, our buffalo chicken nachos came out with shredded cheese that wasn't melted and barely any chicken (the chicken we did get was cold). We basically got a plate of tortilla chips and a small side of sour cream. We did send them back and the cheese came back melted, but we still commented how we've had better nachos at pretty much every other restaurant we've been to. Two of us got the grilled chicken wrap. I asked for mine without onions. To my dismay I received the one with onions and instead of it being taken back the server suggested that we just switch them amongst ourselves. They were also cold and the cheese was just a slice of cheddar cheese - again not melted. One of us got the cheese pizza - again the cheese was not completely melted! I got a drink which was made with the wrong alcohol, but at that point got sick of either sending food back or having to tell someone that the order was wrong. I was at Splitsville yesterday before the Pats game and had such a great time! It was packed in there with a line out the door and I could tell it was probably the first very very busy day for them. This is a big test for a new business and I was really impressed with how organized they stayed throughout the afternoon. The employees all seemed very upbeat and together even though it was a hectic crowd to deal with. It was nearly impossible to get a table but we were starving so just ordered food from the bartender to eat while standing. I assumed with such a big crowd that it would take forever to get food but it came pretty quickly. We had the parmesan chicken tenders which were delicious- all white meat high quality chicken. We also shared the Super Tuna sushi roll. The sushi was incredibly fresh and well made. I'd be a little weary ordering sushi in a bowling alley, but I would love to try the other rolls because this was one was very good! It's a very large and beautiful space. You pay by the hour and there is a counter on the score board that tells you how much time you have left. The lanes shut off by themselves when your time is up. There is a red pin on each lane, and if you get a strike when it's the head pin you get a free dessert. A worker must see you bowl a strike. I cannot say enough good things about this place. The food is pretty good (even the sushi believe it or not) and the entertainment is top-notch. You can go there for bowling, drinks, or just hanging out. By far, the best part is Howl at the Moon on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays, which is a dueling piano show. All of the musicians are incredibly talented and they incorporate drums, guitars and even saxophones into some of their songs. You I would recommend getting there by 7 to get a good table. Groups are encouraged but they will not reserve a large section of people without the majority of the group there read more

When I think of bowling I think of old dusty bowling alleys, with broken arcade games and vending machines. This is not one of those places. it's more on the side of a luxury-lanes type place. I had a great time here. They had live music, we bowled, and ate while we did so (well not actually while we were bowling, but you get the idea). Came here last night for a work event. Really awesome, fun spot. We had the three upper lanes to the left and the middle area by the large bar. Our servers were amazing. Walking around making sure we had what we needed. However, the bartender (short, with brown hair in ponytail) was very, very rude to the entire group. Extremely unfriendly, impolite and would roll her eyes constantly. We had a company tab going, and at one point the VP had to politely get her attention and she still didn't come over - instead waited until she was done with her conversation. It is really disappointing to see especially since there are very competent, well mannered servers on staff that would make excellent bartenders. In a place were you are competing with neighboring businesses....it's something to think about. read more

Came here on a Saturday... which I understand can be busy. Not a single bartender came to me to take my order I basically had to hang over the bar. Every single bartender had an attitude. Rachel was on my side of the bar and she was so unapproachable I didn't even want to ask her for a drink as she poured her own iced water. Will not return to this bar simply because of the attitude of the bartenders. They look so miserable to be doing their job. Slamming cards and receipts down on the bar and ripping a card out of someone's hand is just so off putting. The bar wasn't even that busy. Catch me at bar Louie instead. read more

The bowling is fun and the place very clean and modern...however the bar/restaurant area is run poorly. I am in the restaurant industry and I saw many people waiting for tables and many tables cleaned off and empty, for more than 15 min. If I were the owner I would be angry- this is revenue lost. The whole routine of how the restaurant/bar should run separate from bowling. I asked the waitress if they were short staffed and she said "no". The food was adequate and reasonably priced, I would only go back to eat if I had no where else to go at Patriot Place. read more

This place is pretty big - it's also considered Howl at the Moon (I've been to the one in Boston and it's fun!). It's pretty easy to spot even though it in the middle of Patriot Place which has an abundance of restaurants and shops - it's probably easiest to enter Patriots Place on the side with the ProShop, CBS Scene and the huge staircase. I've gone for lunch as well as organized a company event there. As I mentioned, the venue is pretty big - if you're looking from left to right there are sections that include a small bar and tables, bowling lanes and pool tables, the large bar with bar seating and tall tables, and more seats and small pin bowling on the right side. It's very open space but they also have a couple areas that can be sectioned off for private parties. Service was great!! Everyone there was friendly and helpful. I was able to work with the event coordinator directly on the evening of the event - she was very helpful and sincere. The rest of the staff was also willing to help where ever needed. I want to give the entire time a lot of credit for the event going pretty smoothly. They are pretty busy there so you know they're doing something right. The food was pretty good as well! I absolutely loved the buff chicken pizza I had. It was so good I almost devoured the entire thing in less than 10 min. I would definitely recommend this place! read more
