Splitting Hairs is fantastic! Ray Robinson is the owner and my stylist. Ray is professional, fun and an expert at guiding me into the perfect look for me! I have had more compliments on my hair since going there than I ever have, I like edgy yet classic and he achieves that every time, and creates great color blends. I never feel rushed and the wait is never long. But even if I had to wait, I wouldn't mind because there's a Boutique inside that I always check out! Sometimes I've actually kept him waiting because the Boutique has lots of cool jewelry, clothes, accessories, home goods at reasonable prices. The location is great and the services I receive are fairly priced. Although I've only seen Ray, I have noticed that there are repeat customers to all the stylists there and the environment is very warm and welcoming! I've never written a Yelp review, but felt compelled to do so for Splitting Hairs. My stylist, Ray, along with everyone there makes me feel amazing every time. Ray is talented, professional, friendly, and every other adjective I would want from a stylist. It's also important to me that he's always ready for me at my appointment time and gets me out of there in a timely manner. He doesn't rush...he just knows what he's doing and respects that I'm very busy. I always wish I had more time because I love talking to him and enjoy the atmosphere. I don't have the best self-esteem, but always leave there with confidence that lasts for days. The complements I get on my hair certainly help too! read more

Stephanie Wallen is my stylist and she is the BEST! She is so genuinely kind and truly cares that her clients get exactly what they want! Her main focus is on what "YOU" want, not what she thinks is best! I've been to so many stylists who ask what you want and then do their own thing anyway . Stephanie's warm demeanor will make you feel instantly comfortable to ask questions, opinions and to let her know exactly what you want! The Salon is owned by an extremely kind and caring individual. I have been going to Splitting Hairs Salon for over 15 years and have never left disappointed.  Navi (the owner and also my stylist) is professional and kind and pays attention to what her clients say.  She sometimes understands what I want and need more than I do!  Over the years I have met many of the other stylist there and find all of them to be kind and patient.  The nail stylist (Lynn Sweeney) gives the best manicure in town.  I love a French manicure and my nails always look PERFECT when I leave.  I would highly recommend any stylist and Lynn Sweeney for nails to anyone looking for a friendly salon. read more

I love going to this salon! All of the stylists are so friendly and accommodating. They make sure the client is comfortable during their service and happy with the result. I, personally, get my hair cut and colored by Carrie Taylor. She is great! I always ask her for her opinion and she's very honest about what she thinks would be the best haircut/color. I've chopped it all off, grown it out, gotten layers, darkened, and lightened my hair and she always does a fantastic job! I would definitely recommend this place if you live in the area! read more

I just had my first haircut and style with owner, Navy, and I will definitely be back. The salon is clean, well laid out and modern, and the atmosphere was relaxed. I got an appointment quickly and all the staff was very friendly. Navy spent time with me discussing my hair and what my thoughts were and offered her suggestions before she even washed my hair. I have been a client of Ray Robinson 's since 2002, even for three years when I lived out of state. I love that he listens to what I want and it is a relaxing time when I am at the salon.
