Anson and the Spoke Easy crew do great work! They've done some amazing tune ups on my carbon and steel frames. I've had a few issues with some of my builds and Anson has always been able to sort it out. The brakes on my tarmac were never enjoyable and they were able to resolve it. They redid the cables and housing on my bike, and it has been subliming shifting and braking with it since. They've fixed a few wheels for me too, since I always seem to bugger my bearings. Overall, they always get my bikes back on the road better than I even knew they could potentially be. It's nice supporting local and hearing their opinions on the bike industry, they remind me why I got into the sport in the first place. It's fun to just hang out in a bike shop like Spoke Easy, some things should just never change, and that includes a bike shop that serves the local community of riders.

The staff was very helpful and just a really awesome group of guys. Went in to get 2 new tubeless ready tires installed in my Giant road bike and they had it done in no time at all. Really nice selection of gear and these guys do it all. I will definitely be going back for any of my bike needs in the future

What a breath of fresh, presta valve pumped air! A FRIENDLY bike shop for a change, yeah, I said it, a bike shop that's actually free of the super snotty, holier-than-thou, what crawled up your a$$ and f**king died and is rotting away, a$$hats that are seemingly so endemic to most other bike shops (seriously, what is it with most bike shop staff??). But seriously, a helpful staff who were able to take in our son's bike for repair, and they got all of the parts ( upgraded no less!) comped, and half the install bill covered by the bike's manufacturer warranty! Say wut? Yeah, good on you Spoke Easy bike shop for a job well done, not just well done but I'd have to say, above and beyond with customer service (shout out to Luke in particular). Plus this bike shop services the neighborhoods past/west of Stanyan St. in SF. Only 11 blocks from our homebase. So quite convenient. Wow, I'm still a little stunned, a pleasant experience at a retail bike shop. Someone pinch me, I must be dreaming...

I had a great experience picking up a new Cervelo R3 (new to me!) that Anson helped me evaluate and briefly fit.

My critique is the lack of online price transparency. I wish they posted their service rates on their website so customers could shop around and compare options more efficiently. As it stands, you have to call just to get a basic quote. Overall, the mechanical work appears to be good, but a little more upfront info online would go a long way!

They know their bikes and electric rides really well, and you can tell they've been doing this for a long time. I brought up some general questions about maintenance for small electric scooters, and they were surprisingly open to helping even though I didn't buy mine from them. They checked a few things, pointed out what to look for in future wear, and gave me honest advice instead of pushing products. One thing I forgot to ask -- do they work with other compact mobility scooter brands too? Mine is one of those lightweight, foldable 3-wheel models with a removable battery (similar style to TopMate scooters). If anyone has asked them about servicing that type of scooter or about getting compatible spare parts, I'd love to know your experience. Overall, solid customer service and friendly people. Just curious how flexible they are with brands outside their usual lineup.

They sell a kinda of curated goods from a small selection of tools, lubricants, snacks, and gear. I bought some very well fitted gloves there. What really impressed me was the way they operated the store. It got busy at one point and chilled out... then it got busy again, and they did not miss a beat! But on top of all of that, they were servicing bikes that had appointments or walked in, all at the same time! I was able to bring my bike in, but I also saw they had those bike repair racks in the front and back of the store - they're not playing around. I saw someone walk in with their bike listing off a bunch of stuff he wanted to look into fixing, and the staff person in the front immediately threw it on the repair rack and said 'let's take a look'. They also have this roller situation setup in the front where they can take your bike and run it in place to show what it does while in motion. This place means business and they are super friendly! I wish I had something like this closer to home, this store is doing a service to their local community.
