As an avid foodie and local native, my wife and I finally had the time to turn our attention to Spork. The lovely setting of the village and the classic farmhouse feel of the restaurant were ruined by the volume of the music from the moment we arrived. The menu increased our optimism, but only until our orders arrived. Our bakery items were stale, our coffee orders were mostly milk and syrup, the $16 Open Faced Prosciutto Bagel needs to be renamed to the "1/2 Prosciutto Bagel." For the price of $16 you get one half of a bagel, and a few ribbons of prosciutto - sprinkled with a nice helping of disappointment. I hope to see the small businesses of my hometown flourish, and seed opportunity for the next generation to grow but not when I can spend the same amount of money per food item across the street for world class cuisine. For how spork is clearly trying to appeal, there is little room for them in the village and I'd argue even less room for them in the greater Green Bay restaurant game given what they serve And at the price point that they offer it. Seriously having lived in New York for almost a decade and paying the premium for a bagel breakfast at $12-14 and getting at minimum, both halves of my bagel is really sad when less than half of my meal shows up for a higher price in my down home midwestern hometown. read more

Our first time there and will definitely go back again, they were extremely busy but we got a table right away . We ordered the chicken and waffles which came out warm not hot we told our server just to microwave it to get it hot but instead they made new eggs and warmed the waffle up which made a big difference to compensate for it they came out with chocolate chip cookies and cinnamon rolls which they didn't need to do because we understand things happen but I'm glad they did as everything was delicious. The cutest hidden gem of a brunch spot! It's cozy. Really cozy - and that does also mean limited seating! But so worth it, if you can get a spot. They have this adorable mug wall, where you can pick what mug you drink your coffee from! The food. Oh the food. Love that it's not a huge menu, but the do have something for everyone. Very farm to table quality - with unique meats, and combinations. Cannot recommend their omelette enough! They make their own jams and such. It's the type of place where you place your food order at the register, and they will bring the food out to you. The drinks. Great great spot for coffee drinks! And even better? Sunday morning, looking for a good place to enjoy breakfast before facing an 8hr drive ahead of us. Spork is such a comfortable place to enjoy a delicious meal, although I really wish I would've gone a bit earlier to get one of their special egg Benedict!! The food && lattes were so pleasant & perfect to start the day. Only thing I disliked were the tortillas - they were cold & they would break as I tried to eat the tacos*... 10 stars. What a great find! We were in a town that we weren't familiar with and used Yelp. Spork was the first to pop up. Before I continue it's important to know that my husband and I eat out very often and are always looking for a new place to eat. With that said, I can't remember the last time we had this amount of courtesy. It was a joy to experience. I would have said service, but this was beyond that. It was like showing up at a small friendly gathering. Stephanie, Spency (sp?), and Chef made us feel very welcome when they found out we were from out of town. We were so impressed with their dance and hard work. They make it look easy even though you know they are working their asses off. And the food is even better. Spork is a very inviting place, small, but doesn't give you claustrophobia. Upon entering it was clear that Spork is a local favorite. When we entered we were immediately sat down with our own bottled water to help ourselves. To order you go to the counter and see all of the fresh and interesting menu items. All seeming more delicious than the next. I was so happy to see quiche on the menu until I realized it was a vegetarian quiche. Me being a carnivore I asked for a side of bacon. No go, oh well, on to the omelette of the day... Kielbasa. Another interesting choice. You help yourself to your coffee and have a seat. They take care of the rest. Oh, and the coffee is bottomless. Once we sat they surprised me and brought out a maple bacon scone still warm. It was very good and did satisfy my need for bacon that morning. Our food arrived and all was good with the world. While all of this is going on the dance continued between these 3 people (family) still making it look easy as the place started filling up. Not a step was missed. Now one may think wow at this point, but it's not over. Once we were done eating the Chef came out to our table with a French toast that I can't even explain how good it was. Mind you, we did not order the scone or the french toast, nor did they charge us for them. They're just that nice. The menu was on the smaller side but everything was different from each other, which was great! Always makes it easier to decide! You have the option to sit inside or outside and opted for outside because it's not very often you get a 70 degree Sunday morning in Wisconsin in September! The staff worked incredible together, we could hear the communication between all of the workers in a peaceful and calm manner, which you don't get very often anymore! Finally stopped to try this place out! I was going just for their house black coffee but one of their specials was an Irish Cream latte so went with that. It was delicious! You pick out your own mug from their wall of mugs for them to make the drink in. Cute touch. The sandwiches (bagels) on the menu looked really good and a nice variety. The scones in the bakery counter looked wonderful. Was a little pricey from my normal so it would be a once in awhile coffee stop for me. The atmosphere was cozy and warm. I'm not sure why it took my wife and I so long to try Spork, especially since are pretty much right down the street from us, but wow are we glad we did! The place itself is charming, set in an old bank(?) in Suamico, but the food is the highlight. Although, my wife keeps talking about how awesome their nitro infused cold brew coffee is so it must be pretty special (I don't drink coffee so I'm am a poor judge). I had gotten their special which was a sweet potato and apple hash with 2 perfectly cooked eggs on top - wonderful! The fontina cheese was a perfect touch. My wife got their vegetarian omelette​, which was also perfectly prepared with a nice assortment of seasonal vegetables. I'm anxious to come back and try more of their menu, and since I live close, I'm sure that will not be an issue. read more

We stumbled into Spork while on our way to Marinette. We are always drawn to restaurants that have a farm-to-table vibe and the reviews of Spork Drew is in for that reason. The space is small and intimate, but not negatively. The menu was minimal, creative and full of fresh ingredients. I had the Farmers Quiche which was some of the best I've had and my husband had the breakfast tacos which he reported to be good as well. My only complaint was the side of watermelon wedges on my plate. They were extremely underripe, pale pink in color, and completely tasteless. I'd rather have nothing than something inedible. It is a small, quaint place that seats 26 people. My wife ordered one of the omelettes that was the special of the day and I had an opportunity to enjoy pulled pork eggs Benedict! We also ordered two lattes --Caramel Apple lattes -- a little too sweet but delicious. The atmosphere is both warm and trendy. Our service was excellent and very accommodating to food allergies. Phenomenal. I could not stop raving about how amazing my experience was while I was here. The tiny building is cute and homey. Walking in we ordered the omelette special of the day (mushrooms and onion), coffee, prosciutto bagel, tomato soup and chai latte. Once we ordered we went ahead and picked out a fun mug on the wall to have our drinks made in. By the time we settled in and noticed our silly sporks to eat with our food arrived. It was almost painful to eat my food is was so gorgeous. A sesame bagel with thick luscious cream cheese was piled high. Topping this bagel it had aged balsamic, micro greens, tomatoes, red onion and like a fourth pound of rich prosciutto. Literally the only nit picky thing about it was the tomatoes could have been smaller to eat the bagel better. The tomato soup paired perfectly with the bagel and was rich and creamy. The chai latte was the perfect temperature right when it arrived and was perfection. Service was beyond outstanding they make you feel like you are at home and even offered us coffee to go. I told them I may move in and since they have a room you can rent upstairs for gatherings I may take them up on the offer. read more
