Very local hidden gem. Good food at amazing prices. This is a definite must for casual breakfast and lunch when in Green Bay

Delicious home cooked meals at prices that simply can not be matched elsewhere. You will leave here feeling like you just left your parents' house, with a full belly and a mile on your face. The first time we stopped, we had chili, a patty melt, onion rings, hash browns, and eggs Benedict all for under $20. The owners are good, wholesome people who don't think a good meal should cost you an arm and a leg.

I loved It there so very much. Food is cheap but excellent. It is old school type of coffee as you can see in the pictures. Give it a try, alone or with family, you won't regret it. I will definitely be going back there for brunch on weekends.

Diner life at its best. Waffle is Knope-worthy. Eggs and bacon done just as I asked. And I've never been offered homemade toast before, so I chose that--perfect toast bread, not too airy, not too dense.

I've been wanting to check out this place for a while as I bike past it all the time. I had some extra time one morning and went to try it out. As you walk in it feels like you're in someones grandparents house. There's kid coloring pages taped on the walls, and there's a corner that looks like a living room filled with old junk that you would leave boxed up in your basement. In the same corner, there's a bunch of games and toys to keep the kiddos entertained. One thing that really makes its feel like is a home is the wind chimes that makes noise when someone comes our from the kitchen to the diner. I sat up by the diner as there were almost ten other "regulars" sitting there. The server took her time with me as she was paying more attention to her crossword puzzle. I got a breakfast sandwich with hash browns. It's pretty cheap, but you're getting what you pay for. I could tell the cheese was basically a kraft single, and the rest of the food was really greasy. I don't mind greasy most of the time, but this was a little too much as my stomach was hating me for rest of the day. There are other similar spots like Our Place that I would rather go too for a simple breakfast.

Order the roast beef hash for breakfast. Can't miss. We've been coming here for over 25 years.

Quick fast easy breakfast and tasted good. A nice little out of the way spot open for breakfast and lunch.

I like this place. I also think 4.5 stars is a good rating; however, since the people at Yelp don't…read morebelieve in half stars, I'll round up. Looking like a neighborhood bar, albeit one with a Star Wars theme (if you are into that sort of thing), this place came highly recommended. I got there just before it got packed. I was promptly greeted, grabbed a seat at the bar and soon had a drink in front of me (full bar). Several things looked good both on the menu and in the kitchen (which is open for viewing). I ordered a cheesesteak (when in Rome) and an order of cheese curds. Both came well prepared and hot. The curds were great. Definitely enough in an order for two. The sandwich was packed and tasted fantastic. Leaving, I definitely was full. Would I go back? Definitely! I've already told some friends and the experience and have encouraged them to check it out.

The inside almost feels like a house that was renovated into a restaurant in the coolest way possible with a very open layout, stripped-down feel, and a super unique kitchen setup literally right behind the bar. If you're a Star Wars fan, this place is a must. The theme throughout the restaurant was awesome and definitely added to the experience for us since we're huge Star Wars people. The staff overall was really friendly and welcoming too. Special shoutout to the hostess Lea super friendly... wink wink if you know, you know. Our server was chipper and sweet the whole time. She did accidentally get our drinks wrong and forgot the cheese on my burger, but honestly it wasn't a huge deal because she was so nice about everything. The burger itself was decent but a little dry. I did appreciate the extra pickles though because that's exactly how I like it. Now let's talk about the real reason to go here- drumroll... Cheese Whiz cheesesteak. Absolutely incredible. Honestly one of the best cheesesteaks I've had in a long time and 100% worth the drive alone. The cheese curds were also really good and definitely worth ordering for the table. And when I mean drive I mean drive, just a few hours south from Chicago aka Bear land, GO BEARS Overall, not every single item blew us away, but the atmosphere, Star Wars theme, friendly staff, and THAT cheesesteak made this place memorable. We'd absolutely come back just for the Cheese Whiz sandwich.

From the moment you walk in, you're greeted with a warm, welcoming atmosphere, an open kitchen, wonderful smells, and the kind of friendly service that makes you feel like a regular, even on your first visit. The staff is upbeat, attentive, and genuinely seems to care that you're having a great experience. The pizza is phenomenal! It's perfectly crisp crust, generous toppings, and that ideal balance of sauce and cheese. Every bite tastes fresh and thoughtfully made. We had a pepperoni pizza with hand tossed crust, and a mac and cheese pizza with a thin crust! Both were fantastic. We also had the balsamic chicken and arugula flatbread; another winner! Hands down one of the best places in Green Bay for pizza, we look forward to trying some of the sandwiches next time. Five stars all the way! We'll definitely be back!

We were running errands down in Green Bay recently and searched yelp for a high rated sandwich,…read moreshop and landed at Olives. What a hidden gem, a half mile off the highway, but you may need your GPS to navigate to it. Being from New England originally, I was delighted to find what they carried main lobster rolls for a limited time, so I had to order one of those and then we ordered a spicy Italian sub and split both for variety. Both sandwiches were superb, and the lobster rolls were significantly less expensive than the small handful of places that you can find them here in Northeast Wisconsin. The place was fairly empty because we got there well after lunch hour, but we were surprised to not see anyone else in there because this place is far better than most other options, including, but not limited to the corporate franchise options like subway, Jimmy John's, firehouse, subs, etc. Nothing beats Local small business owned restaurants like this! The staff was very friendly, and although the place was empty, they were processing a bunch of phone orders and we've watched a bunch of people come through for pick ups. Our sandwiches were prepared within five minutes, and they were absolutely delicious! We highly recommend this place and plan to go back next time we're off the Door Peninsula and down in that Green Bay area around lunch.
