We came in right before the restaurant filled out at 10am and got the shakshuka along with a burger and fries. Everything was made perfectly and so flavorful. The chefs certainly have a skill for optimal taste and cooking as that was the best meal of the weekend. The server was so attentive and sweet too! We always had our water refilled and several friendly workers asked us about our triathlon experience. Very sweet people!

Some mishaps have happened with service on prior visits but management and servers are always concerned and make it right. That's why I keep coming back. I Popped in Thursday afternoon for Pho. It was not busy only two other couples eating when we arrived. We sat at our usual table And noted service was a bit slow right off the bat. When I received my Pho, which I thought was a longer wait than usual, it was luke warm if that. The Korean ribs and chicken wings arrived temperature appropriate. I pushed my soup aside but no one checked back until my lunch mate finished. When the waiter came to clear the table I asked for a to go and thought he would ask if there was anything wrong. He did not so I told him the Pho was served luke warm so I did not eat it and that no one had checked back or even passed by us or I would have sent it back to heat it up. We were done now so I'd just take it to go. Our waiter apologized and when he brought the bill said The Pho was comped and apologized again for the breakdown in service. When I dine I like to relax and enjoy a meal With who I came with. So receiving temperature appropriate food is important. The KD does a good job. They have a diverse menu with flavorful food and great cocktails. When there is a hiccup in service or the food there is a genuine concern. Sometimes it's caught by them and others it's brought to their attention. It's how things are dealt with when those mishaps happen. The KD addresses your concerns with sincerity and want their diner to have an all around great experience. If you have not been give KD a try when in downtown Napa.

There's plenty of parking, no waiting area inside nor outside so we chose to wait in the car. Great customer service, small place packed with people and it is very loud and noisy. Tables and chairs are very close to each other. Restroom was nice and clean. Food is amazing! The best seller crispy kare kare looks fancy and very unique than the previous crispy kare kare I had. It was a crispy ball! It looks fancy and different but tastes authentic filipino kare kare that my mom loved. After few minutes the meat became hard and chewy so better consume right away. We also had the sizzling sisig. It wasn't sizzling when it was served though. It tastes good. I wish the water was cold as it it's so hot and feels 90F outside. Anyway, the sago drink was bomb! First sip suddenly reminded me of my school days in the Philippines. It tastes the same! Although that time it was 0.08 cents (5 php) long time ago! The mango float was very delicious and i've never had it in any USA restaurant except here. I would love to come back here for that. Upon reservation few days ago, I made a note its my mom's birthday and requested a plate with happy birthday and candle which they did plus a yummy ube crinkle with ube ice cream on top! My mom loves ube! We didn't order much but we had to-go boxes as we cannot finish the rice and meat. The bill can be paid thu their QR code at the table which I did. You can also pay traditionally. Overall this is a great fancy Filipino restaurant at Napa. Perfect to celebrate occasions even no occasion. Food is delicious, service was great, hope it is calm and quiet next time.

First, congratulations to the team on opening Carabao. It's exciting to see Filipino cuisine…read morerepresented in Napa, and I truly want this restaurant to succeed. My comments are offered as constructive feedback from someone who loves Filipino food and wants both Filipinos and newcomers to experience it at its best. Ambiance The ambiance is beautiful. The natural plants create a warm, inviting atmosphere, and the modern design blends nicely with subtle Filipino touches without feeling overly themed. Service Service was exceptional. Every server greeted us warmly, was attentive throughout the meal, and genuinely reflected the hospitality Filipinos are known for. Food The presentation of every dish was beautiful, especially the edible flowers. While visually impressive, I think some flavors could be refined to better showcase traditional Filipino cuisine. Lechon Manok - Moist chicken, but it could use more seasoning so it stands on its own. The liver sauce lacked the traditional balance of sweetness, tanginess, and richness that complements the chicken. Kare-Kare - I appreciate appealing to a broad audience, but authenticity is also an opportunity to introduce Filipino cuisine. Offering bagoong upon request would be a nice touch. Without it, the peanut sauce should stand on its own. During my visit, it was thicker than expected and slightly salty. Pancit Bihon - The noodles appeared to be sotanghon rather than bihon. If the menu lists Pancit Bihon, using bihon noodles would improve authenticity. The pork belly was tasty but not essential. Salmon Sinigang - The pan-seared salmon was creative and well prepared, but the broth was more sour than expected, making the flavors less balanced. Appetizers Lumpia was delicious. Kilawin was fresh, flavorful, and one of my favorites. The Deviled Eggs Adobo had an interesting concept, though I would have liked a more recognizable adobo flavor, perhaps with a small amount of minced pork adobo on top. The Barako Ribs were excellent, but fewer pickles would let the barako flavor shine. The Atchara could use a better balance of sweetness and acidity since it plays an important role in cleansing the palate. Desserts The Cassava Cake was excellent. The Halo-Halo wasn't my favorite, though others may enjoy this interpretation. The Crème Brûlée was nicely done, although I felt the condensed milk wasn't necessary since the caramelized sugar already provides enough sweetness. Drinks The tea paired wonderfully with the desserts, and my non-Filipino friends especially enjoyed how it balanced their richness. Overall Carabao has tremendous potential. Sometimes less is more--you don't need an extensive menu to showcase how incredible Filipino cuisine can be. My biggest suggestion is to keep traditional Filipino flavors as the foundation while adding creative touches. Authenticity is what introduces our culture to first-time guests. As Filipinos, food is more than a meal--it's how we share the Philippines with others. I hope the chef continues exploring regional Filipino recipes as inspiration before adding their own creative interpretation. I genuinely want Carabao to succeed and will gladly return in a few months with visiting friends. I hope this review is received in the spirit intended--with appreciation, encouragement, and sincere support for the restaurant's continued growth. Wishing the entire Carabao team much success.

After spending time in Spain, we've become fairly tough critics when it comes to tapas and pintxos, so our expectations were high. Thankfully, ZuZu delivered a memorable experience. We originally came hoping to find a Basque cheesecake, but instead discovered their Basque cake. My husband absolutely loved it. It was rich, flavorful, and a wonderful surprise that more than satisfied the craving. The cooling sangria was exactly what we needed on a warm Napa afternoon. Refreshing, balanced, and not overly sweet, it paired beautifully with the relaxed atmosphere and felt like the perfect way to unwind before our flight home. For dessert, I ordered the chocolate mousse, which was perfect for a warm Napa afternoon. It struck a wonderful balance between light and indulgent, with a rich chocolate flavor that never felt too heavy. It was the kind of dessert that leaves you satisfied without slowing you down, making it the perfect treat before a long walk through Napa or heading to the airport. While our stop was brief, ZuZu left a lasting impression. Between the impressive gin program, refreshing sangria, thoughtful desserts, and lively atmosphere, it was a wonderful final taste of Napa before heading home.

We sat at the bar and started with a dozen fresh oysters and added some grilled ones to share. The miso nori butter was a standout for me, while the gochujang version just wasn't quite my thing. We had just started our second glasses of wine when I didn't set my glass down right (distracted by drag bingo) and it shattered, spilling everywhere including onto the oyster display case. I was mortified and started apologizing immediately, but the staff was not having it. The shucker looked furious and was angrily resetting the ice. The server wouldn't say a word or make eye contact, even while I was still apologizing. I felt so uncomfortable I stepped away to collect myself. While I was gone, the manager came over ostensibly to "see if everything was OK" and proceeded to lecture my friend about the safety issue of broken glass. My friend, also a restaurant professional, noted how icy and frankly hostile the service had become after a pretty common accident. The manager got defensive. When she suggested a courtesy splash would be appropriate, he said "we'll see when she gets back." When I returned, nothing had changed. No one checked in. There was still wine on the metal rim of the display case, which pretty much undercuts the safety and sanitation concern they kept citing. We decided to leave. The manager comped my unfinished glass with great fanfare, as though he were doing us an enormous favor, then launched into another safety lecture. My friend still had most of her wine, but we just wanted to go. Delicious food, amateur service. Not worth $225, and sadly won't be returning.

The place can get very packed and if you don't have a reservation, you may be quite disappointed. We came in in between lunch and dinner and had the most amazing service. I'm pretty sure they always have amazing service here but since we were one of the few tables, I felt like we had a private dining service. We Split a salad and a main course, and both were plated up for us as individual meals, presented perfectly. The pear salad is absolutely delicious. I cannot even tell you how much I love the salad dressing and the salad is perfect. my sister does not like blue cheese so I got all of hers on my half. We also ordered my other favorite ditch, which is papardelle pasta with shrimp and mushrooms. It is so filling and lovely. There's no way that you could actually eat the whole plate, so splitting it is a great idea unless you're famished. Of course it be Napa.
