    Phad Thai

We dropped in on a Friday night hoping to get a seat at the bar and were lucky two seats opening up after a few minutes wait. Bartenders always on point and engaged, fun drink menu lost, and excellent people watching. Started with our standard, the deviled eggs. Then we branched off the norm and had the Phad Thai and RAMEN with chicken as an extra protein. Went great with the Albariño we ordered. Finished with home made(some sort of nut) with carmel drizzle and jet was a wrap. See there is 20.00 corkage which is great and free if you buy a bottle so worth considering . Would have been a 5 and never will be a 5 unless you bring the noodle salad back on the menu

Made reservations online and was seated quickly, service was quick and we were able to get pho, ramen, sausage pizza and Barrett's bowl. The ramen was delicious and super flavorful. Only things we didn't like was the pho which had no flavor at all. It tasted like they forgot to put seasoning. Also they don't do anything for birthdays, so don't expect a dessert or anyone to sing happy birthday.

What a nice place to grab bite and drink. As soon as we walked in we were greeted. We sat outside in the perfect late afternoon weather. Ordering from the "Happy Hour" menu which had plenty to choose from. The pizza was nice and thin crust, good sauce and nice flavorful cheeses on top we also ordered teriyaki wings and the sauce was delicious. The margaritas were well balanced as well. For dessert it was the peach crisp it was so good I could have had another one. We left very content. Ivan our waiter was genuinely kind, personable and great service as well as the busboy. Everyone working there was upbeat and hard at work. I liked the restaurant because they have an eclectic menu, something forever one. Location is addressed on 1st Street but it's tucked behind 1st Street, GPS gives a round about direction.

Big open space, efficient friendly service and a solid brunch spot. It was also right next to a parking garage with free parking so, bonus points for convenience. I was shocked my family of 13 was able to get in a rezzo only 48 hours before! The pancakes were so fluffy and where else can you get breakfast Pho, my nephew loved that. The chilaquiles and breakfast pizza was good but not mind blowing. Don't get the duck carnitas, not totally worth the additional $7. Others were fans of the breakfast burger tho!

    Deviled eggs- different, but delicious!

Last lunch for a ladies weekend... a lot of our meals beforehand had similar taste profiles, so I picked this spot since it's a Asian fusion spot and different from the other restaurants earlier in the weekend... Pros - good flavors on each dish we ordered. Service was also very nice and quite accommodating. I didn't know they put bean sprouts in their fried rice, I'm allergic to them, and they took the plate away and made me new rice... I kept the original ribs. I also ordered a potato rossi reminded me of a McDonald's hash brown, but elevated... that was really good! I'd seriously come back to order that....They were also accommodating to a gluten sensitivity and a friend's keto diet too. The spot is next to a nice covered parking lot, so that was great! Cons- can't really think of any. It was a very good meal!

I wasn't as hungry as I had hoped to be for Brunch, so I ordered a Starter and a side of bacon. See picture, but the pic doesn't do it justice when it comes to the size of the eggs. They were fluffy, big and tall. But most importantly... so very tasty with pickled onions hidden from sight.

This is a great spot for brunch! We were glad they were able to fit us in on a Sunday morning. All the Yelpers were talking about the Teriyaki wings, so we had to start with those- and what a hit. They had the trifecta for perfect wings: great sauce, good texture, good crunch! I also ordered the Korean-style short ribs, which came with a meaty bacon fried rice that was just what I needed. There are also tasty brunch drinks too!

We came here with reservations on a Friday night and it was pretty packed and flowing with conversations. You can tell a lot of locals come here. It is an open space concept, which I like because there was plenty of space to move around if we needed to get up. Our server was really attentive and made sure we had a good experience. As far as the food, everything tasted good, but not exceptional, although I didn't know what to order. I ended up getting the arugula salad and the salmon tartar and my husband got the sausage pizza. We also got the chips and dip, which came with a French onion dip. We also got a bottle of wine to go with our dinner. We asked for more chips and they charged us $6, which I thought was silly, but oh well. We ended up not finishing the chips. Everything was again, good, but not amazing. I gave the extra star for good service.

Stopped by for a quick bite during our wine tasting day. The service was adequate. I have to say, the steak was beautifully seasoned and truly amazing, which speaks to the kitchen's potential. However, a significant issue was the temperature of the sauce; it was completely cold, suggesting a delay between plating and serving. Hope they can address this timing issue!

Only positive thing I can say about this place is the ambiance and cleanliness. Also, I feel like the bar was more the center piece and what this place was all about. I wouldn't recommend this place. They had a table for four open and they didn't give it to us. They had us wait over thirty minutes. The empty table remained empty from the time we arrived, duration of our wait, our dinner, and when we left. Considering the others that came after us were sat prior, I wouldn't want to assume it's cause we were the only Asian party that night, but it's how it felt like. The food totally missed the mark. We got the PHO and it had regular noodles. It had no flavor and we had to add the cilantro and sriracha to give it a tiny hint of taste. The Pad Thai failed to impress as well. I understand fusion but the taste was disappointing. Light flavor and strange seasoning but even adding lime was unable to bring out the Pad Thai at all. The ribs barely had flavor but the rice that i came with was the best thing out of all the food we got. It had something crunchy that made it interesting and made it "fusion". In my opinion this was the worst part of my trip here in Napa this time. Carabao was closed and this was the next Asian place that was open on our google search. We already had Chetuphon Thai, which was amazing, and we wanted to have a new experience elsewhere. For Thai Food, Chetuphon still is the place to go to. Service was ok apart from the seating issue stated above. Server and staff bumped my chair multiple times without even an acknowledgement. I'm just really disappointed with the place and nitpicking now, maybe. But for my overall experience on food and service, I cannot say I'd come back, nor can I recommend this place to anyone at all. Sullied our Napa experience just a smidge.

Got Pho to go. There was hardly any chicken. I was surprised the broth didn't have that salty hit one expects when having broth. I guess my blood pressure appreciated that. There plus was that there were plenty of noodles.

Kitchen Door is a Vietnamese fusion restaurant, and while I'm not really a fan of fusion cuisines, this place is quite solid. Walking in during a prime weekend lunch hour was doable since there were no wait times. Customer service was excellent, and the restaurant was clean and welcoming. Here is the food we ordered: Cheeseburger: Although this item seems out of place on the menu, it was incredibly delicious. The melted Swiss cheese on top of the wine-stewed onions was excellent, and the fries were crispy. The waiter knew we were dining family-style and initiated cutting the burger into three portions. Mushroom Pizza: Another standout on their menu, with plenty of mushrooms and loads of flavor. Pad Thai: This dish seemed to be the least promising of the three, but it was definitely a hit. It didn't look appetizing at first, as it didn't appear authentic at all, but that's the beauty of this Asian fusion dish. It was very tangy and dry, yet amazing--probably my favorite.

With a wasabi and fennel infused vodka, it was too unique not to be curious about. Upon arriving and looking over the menu, SEVERAL cocktails stood out to me as intriguing to try. I started with the Wabi Sabi which was as interesting as it sounded. While I didn't pick up on fennel, you do pick up on the wasabi, but in the most subtle of ways. Think maybe lime/ginger sparkling water with just a hint of spice. Refreshing and different for sure. I also tried the Mucha Lucha w/ cilantro infused Siete Leguas Blanco, chorizo infused mezcal and cubes made of hot sauce that make the drink have a bit more of a kick as you allow them to melt. I did the HH chips and guac which was also accompanied with a tasty Chipotle sauce. Damn good actually. It'd be excellent served in a variety of ways. The deviled eggs aren't going to blow your mind, but I like that you get 4 different ones- and simply because I love eggs, I'd order them again. (They just wouldn't be a dish that brings me back). The bartender was great- helpful and attentive, even as more people began to filter in for an early afternoon. I'll definitely be back next time I'm in Napa to check out some other menu options.

As soon as we approached the venue, there was a long line of people waiting to get inside. We arrived a bit later (around 8pm), and the crowd had already started to fill the venue. Mind you, it's a decent sized venue but not a massive space -- enough to accommodate at minimum 100 and likely max of 200 while still staying within code. There were several people coming in and out of the door, where the GM and bouncer for the night , appeared extremely stressed due to the amount of people in line and inside. A woman, who happened to be the wife of the DJ, stepped out to make a phone call and when she attempted to get back inside, proceeded to get yelled at by the bouncer saying she needed to go to the back of the line and wait like everyone else. The woman attempted to tell the bouncer her husband, who was the guest DJ for the night and is a historical, world renowned DJ (again using big names to draw crowds, and appropriating vinyl culture, but not respecting the very people in attendance), needed to tell him she'd be outside and would sit in the car. The GM started to yell and disrespect the DJs wife, and she ended up staying outside. Apparently this GM and venue are not used to larger crowds, and she essentially cracked under pressure. She went on to tell us the capacity was 67, and that they "were already at 200", which is a lie because there was a ton of space between people inside the venue (we have photos to prove it). She kept yelling and pushing people back. Girlfriend, this was not a Vegas club night. This crowd is 40+ (age) crowd, so it's not like people were out of control and acting debaucherous -- everyone was respecting the rules. If you couldn't handle the crowd, which btw you agreed prior to the 80-100 people expected for the party, then why was it such a hassle for your venue to handle the capacity. You knew a larger crowd was expected that night, it's your responsibility as a business owner to adequately staff the bar, door, etc. Yes; we needed to respect the door and the rules -- and everyone did. I won't get into further detail, but a physical altercation took place after the woman tried to return a second time (to again get her husband and tell him what was going on given she was being harassed at the door), putting hands on her in the process. Just completely out of line. Overall, this venue wants to appropriate the music and DJ culture, yet when the actual music and DJ community show up, there is no respect. Let alone for loyal patrons who have frequented your business and brought tons of revenue to the bar that night (which btw was extremely slow). Don't fall for the dog and pony show here. Go somewhere else that touts respects for their patrons, and for all walks of life -- not just the pretentious kind.
