    Korean Style Short Ribs
    Ramona H.

I am a frequent flyer when in the area of the KD. I really enjoy their Pho and chicken wings. It's good food with up and down service. Some mishaps have happened with service on prior visits but management and servers are always concerned and make it right. That's why I keep coming back. I Popped in Thursday afternoon for Pho. It was not busy only two other couples eating when we arrived. We sat at our usual table And noted service was a bit slow right off the bat. When I received my Pho, which I thought was a longer wait than usual, it was luke warm if that. The Korean ribs and chicken wings arrived temperature appropriate. I pushed my soup aside but no one checked back until my lunch mate finished. When the waiter came to clear the table I asked for a to go and thought he would ask if there was anything wrong. He did not so I told him the Pho was served luke warm so I did not eat it and that no one had checked back or even passed by us or I would have sent it back to heat it up. We were done now so I'd just take it to go. Our waiter apologized and when he brought the bill said The Pho was comped and apologized again for the breakdown in service. When I dine I like to relax and enjoy a meal With who I came with. So receiving temperature appropriate food is important. The KD does a good job. They have a diverse menu with flavorful food and great cocktails. When there is a hiccup in service or the food there is a genuine concern. Sometimes it's caught by them and others it's brought to their attention. It's how things are dealt with when those mishaps happen. The KD addresses your concerns with sincerity and want their diner to have an all around great experience. If you have not been give KD a try when in downtown Napa.

Great food and service! It was a great day to sit outside in the patio and eat delicious food. Their burger and sandwiches are tasty. The bahn-mi even had duck pat'e. I had to finish it with my fries. Very French bistro w/Napa inspired dishes. I only wished they gave more pickles with their sandwiches. It was our first time coming here to eat and visit this new area. Enjoy!

Kitchen Door has been on the locals recommendation list several times this week as I've asked around, so finally gave it a try for lunch today. Deviled eggs anywhere are always a must try for me- but these ones had a savoryness to them that would bring me back for those alone. As my main dish I went with the pad Thai- as a stand alone dish, it's quite good. However, after adding the sriracha and oil, it's damn good. The tofu absorbed a great amount of favor and spice (cumin?) and had a nice crispness to it- I'd order a dish of the tofu alone for a starter with that flavor. I can see myself heading back in the future to try some additional menu items.

We dropped in on a Friday night hoping to get a seat at the bar and were lucky two seats opening up after a few minutes wait. Bartenders always on point and engaged, fun drink menu lost, and excellent people watching. Started with our standard, the deviled eggs. Then we branched off the norm and had the Phad Thai and RAMEN with chicken as an extra protein. Went great with the Albariño we ordered. Finished with home made(some sort of nut) with carmel drizzle and jet was a wrap. See there is 20.00 corkage which is great and free if you buy a bottle so worth considering . Would have been a 5 and never will be a 5 unless you bring the noodle salad back on the menu

Made reservations online and was seated quickly, service was quick and we were able to get pho, ramen, sausage pizza and Barrett's bowl. The ramen was delicious and super flavorful. Only things we didn't like was the pho which had no flavor at all. It tasted like they forgot to put seasoning. Also they don't do anything for birthdays, so don't expect a dessert or anyone to sing happy birthday.

We tried this place on a whim last night and it was absolutely amazing! The ambiance is charming; the staff is attentive and friendly; and the food is absolutely delicious! It will be a regular stop on future visits to the area!

What a nice place to grab bite and drink. As soon as we walked in we were greeted. We sat outside in the perfect late afternoon weather. Ordering from the "Happy Hour" menu which had plenty to choose from. The pizza was nice and thin crust, good sauce and nice flavorful cheeses on top we also ordered teriyaki wings and the sauce was delicious. The margaritas were well balanced as well. For dessert it was the peach crisp it was so good I could have had another one. We left very content. Ivan our waiter was genuinely kind, personable and great service as well as the busboy. Everyone working there was upbeat and hard at work. I liked the restaurant because they have an eclectic menu, something forever one. Location is addressed on 1st Street but it's tucked behind 1st Street, GPS gives a round about direction.

    Deviled eggs- different, but delicious!

Last lunch for a ladies weekend... a lot of our meals beforehand had similar taste profiles, so I picked this spot since it's a Asian fusion spot and different from the other restaurants earlier in the weekend... Pros - good flavors on each dish we ordered. Service was also very nice and quite accommodating. I didn't know they put bean sprouts in their fried rice, I'm allergic to them, and they took the plate away and made me new rice... I kept the original ribs. I also ordered a potato rossi reminded me of a McDonald's hash brown, but elevated... that was really good! I'd seriously come back to order that....They were also accommodating to a gluten sensitivity and a friend's keto diet too. The spot is next to a nice covered parking lot, so that was great! Cons- can't really think of any. It was a very good meal!

I wasn't as hungry as I had hoped to be for Brunch, so I ordered a Starter and a side of bacon. See picture, but the pic doesn't do it justice when it comes to the size of the eggs. They were fluffy, big and tall. But most importantly... so very tasty with pickled onions hidden from sight.

This is a great spot for brunch! We were glad they were able to fit us in on a Sunday morning. All the Yelpers were talking about the Teriyaki wings, so we had to start with those- and what a hit. They had the trifecta for perfect wings: great sauce, good texture, good crunch! I also ordered the Korean-style short ribs, which came with a meaty bacon fried rice that was just what I needed. There are also tasty brunch drinks too!

Big open space, efficient friendly service and a solid brunch spot. It was also right next to a parking garage with free parking so, bonus points for convenience. I was shocked my family of 13 was able to get in a rezzo only 48 hours before! The pancakes were so fluffy and where else can you get breakfast Pho, my nephew loved that. The chilaquiles and breakfast pizza was good but not mind blowing. Don't get the duck carnitas, not totally worth the additional $7. Others were fans of the breakfast burger tho!

We came here with reservations on a Friday night and it was pretty packed and flowing with conversations. You can tell a lot of locals come here. It is an open space concept, which I like because there was plenty of space to move around if we needed to get up. Our server was really attentive and made sure we had a good experience. As far as the food, everything tasted good, but not exceptional, although I didn't know what to order. I ended up getting the arugula salad and the salmon tartar and my husband got the sausage pizza. We also got the chips and dip, which came with a French onion dip. We also got a bottle of wine to go with our dinner. We asked for more chips and they charged us $6, which I thought was silly, but oh well. We ended up not finishing the chips. Everything was again, good, but not amazing. I gave the extra star for good service.

With a wasabi and fennel infused vodka, it was too unique not to be curious about. Upon arriving and looking over the menu, SEVERAL cocktails stood out to me as intriguing to try. I started with the Wabi Sabi which was as interesting as it sounded. While I didn't pick up on fennel, you do pick up on the wasabi, but in the most subtle of ways. Think maybe lime/ginger sparkling water with just a hint of spice. Refreshing and different for sure. I also tried the Mucha Lucha w/ cilantro infused Siete Leguas Blanco, chorizo infused mezcal and cubes made of hot sauce that make the drink have a bit more of a kick as you allow them to melt. I did the HH chips and guac which was also accompanied with a tasty Chipotle sauce. Damn good actually. It'd be excellent served in a variety of ways. The deviled eggs aren't going to blow your mind, but I like that you get 4 different ones- and simply because I love eggs, I'd order them again. (They just wouldn't be a dish that brings me back). The bartender was great- helpful and attentive, even as more people began to filter in for an early afternoon. I'll definitely be back next time I'm in Napa to check out some other menu options.

What was great about the Saudade was that it has coffee ice in the drink. It is meant to sip over 30 mins. Conveniently located near several downtown staple stops, it's an easy addition to an afternoon or evening exploring the area. The cocktail menu is extensive, with plenty of creative options and stories behind many of the drinks. For my fellow gin cocktail girlies, I'd recommend starting with the Bronx Cocktail. For round two, the Bee's Sneeze is another solid choice. I paired my drinks with the lobster roll, which was the standout food item of my visit. The bun was light, fluffy, and perfectly toasted. While the lobster salad wasn't the best I've ever had, it was a very solid bite for a dive-lounge-style bar. I'd skip the chips it comes with, but the fries are absolutely worth ordering. One small service hiccup worth mentioning: the fries are listed as coming with a herb aioli, but mine arrived with ketchup. When I asked about the aioli, my server initially tried to play it off before eventually sharing that they were out. Not a dealbreaker by any means, but it was an odd interaction that could have been handled more directly. The atmosphere is a dark, casual lounge with a cozy hole-in-the-wall feel along the river. The staff was welcoming. If you're looking to trade wine tasting for a cocktail side quest, The Fink is definitely worth a visit.

I've had a traditional Mai Tai a million of times. Do you have Tiki Drinks that are going to make me want to drive 45 minutes to you? On top of that, is your food worth it? I'm happy to say that the answer to both of these questions are yes. I've gone here 3 times within the last two weeks and one item that is a constant order is the Orange Chicken. Nowadays I think people are used to the classic super sweet Panda Express style Orange Chicken that you'll also see occasionally at your local Chinese food restaurant. Wilfred's Orange Chicken definitely is sweet but its not as sweet as what I used to and I'm not mad about it. There's a lot of depth with the sauce. I don't know if they are just putting more soy sauce or dark soy sauce...Maybe it's Oyster/Fish sauce? Theres definitely some kind of extra Umami going on. An added plus is that it pair perfectly with the tanginess of the Pineapple Fried Rice. For drinks my favorites have been the Manta Ray and the Sanfroyosko. The reason being is just because these have been the more unique ones that I've been really enjoying. The Manta Ray is more tropical than one might think. However it's tropical with a bit of funk. The combination of the Gin, Falernum, and Sauv Blanc Syrup really add to the complexity. The other drink I really like is the Sanfroyosko. If you are a Mai Tai lover, this is the one to try. The substitution of the typical tums with the Shochu, Sake and Pisco add even more of a Wine and floral flavor profile to the drink. On top of that the Sesame Orgeat gives and even more nuttier flavor than normal. But despite all these flavors going on, it still kinda tastes like a Mai Tai. The service has always been amazing. Every person who has served us has served us with a smile. But even despite how friendly they are, there still remains this sense of professionalism with their interactions. They check in at the perfect times. They ask how we are enjoying everything and share their favorite things to drink/eat. With the amazing tiki decor and island music, you really do feel like you are on an Island anytime you eat here.

I shared it with my kid with a side of tots and it was scrumptious. I asked for the aioli on the side but it was lemony with a spicy kick. I hadn't had something like that but it was a nice fresh creamy taste with the tots and sandwich.
