When I asked for boxes to pack up everything, she didn't bring anything to pack up my EIGHT DOLLAR chips and dips! Seriously?!? That $8 is your tip now, I guess? Honestly, I would go back for the food, which is reasonably priced and delicious. I guess we could view the terrible service as a way to save money on tipping because they certainly don't act like they want or need gratuities.

We had to wait for quite awhile just to be acknowledged. Our waitress did apologize for the long wait but we don't know why. They weren't busy. We ordered the taquito basket it looked ok but we couldn't eat it. Beef had a weird taste, then tried guacamole which tasted sour and queso was not the best. We were not able to eat our food which was a real shame. You would think the sit down restaurant would be better than the food court was but it's not. The line was always long to get something to eat when it was at the food court and now Chile Ristra is empty on a Friday night. I'm not sure who is responsible for this change but it was a bad decision and I'm sure they are losing money.

I really liked the atmosphere (ambience)... down home would be one way of describing it. Met some friends there at 2 this afternoon. Everyone said the fish and chips were better than 2 Fools, so I decided to try it. Not bad, not good, just 'meh'. That said my friend's actually had more fish than breading. Mine was mostly breading. Chips (fries) were good but not exactly generous in quantity. Not to be deterred, I plan on returning sometime... more because I like the place (old Kistler Kolister). Third time's a charm? Fingers crossed .

A few folks came together to start Quarter Celtic, including Brady, who is an incredible brewer. It's great to see him showcasing his amazing beer at a restaurant he co-owns. The food? Consistently excellent. I've tried a good number of items from the menu, and everything has been delicious. Portions are generous, so come hungry! The space has a cozy Irish pub vibe with a brewery in the back, and the service is always friendly and attentive. If you're looking for great beer, hearty food, and a welcoming atmosphere, Quarter Celtic is the spot. Highly recommend!

The atmosphere was clean and welcoming, with plenty of TVs around to catch whatever game is on. The food was good--not out of this world, but definitely solid. I had a half salad along with a 9" ham and pineapple pizza, and it was a TON of food! The salad was loaded with toppings, and I will say the crust on the pizza was really good. Service was just okay. My waiter checked in a couple of times and was friendly enough, but didn't really go above and beyond. Nothing bad by any means, just pretty standard service. Overall, I'd probably give the food and experience 3.5 stars, but I'm rounding it up to 4 stars because of the convenience, clean atmosphere, and location.

My boyfriend actually came across it when doing a google search for pizza nearby our neighborhood. It is Pizza 9 pizza so you know what you are getting as far as pizza. They also have a variety of other restaurant style offerings which is nice if you are not in the mood for pizza. One thing that kept catching my eye on their screens was their "New Buffalo Shrimp" might have to come back to try them! We picked up a deep dish, which is the Double Dish on their menu, along with a Pizza Roll, which is a smaller version of their calzone. Both were just what we wanted. They tasted great and we plan to come back again when we are in the mood for pizza. If you are planning to dine in, the place does tend to get a little loud but there are also several screens on showing games as well! Come check em out!

We…read morewent for Taco Tuesday; you can get $2 beef tacos, which many members did and said were very good. However, I decided to go with an appetizer I've never tried, the Bang Bang Shrimp, which was dynamite! You get four very large, crispy shrimp in a sweet-and-spicy sauce, though I didn't find it spicy, if that's a concern for some. The sauce was very tasty; the shrimp had great flavor, were plump and tender, and they were indeed crispy. This went very well with the arugula under the shrimp. I'd order this again in a second. I then had two tacos à la carte: Baja Fish beer-battered cod and Carnitas. Both were very large and excellent. The pork on the Carnitas was indeed crispy as it should be, and the cod was perfectly fried and delicious. My wife had the Asian Tuna Noodle Crunch Bowl: seared tuna, lo mein noodles. The dressing was superb; the Tuna was perfectly seared raw, and all the items that came with the salad (mango, red cabbage, daikon radish sprouts, kale crunch, edamame, cilantro, peanuts, toasted sesame) made for a lovely and delicious meal. Our server, Tony, did a fantastic job of keeping us all happy. My only 'complaint' was that Boxcar doesn't serve their amazing Brussels sprouts, or at least not all the time. Not on the menu. I told Tony and the manager how much I love them and was told it may come back as a special from time to time. Man, the Boxcar Brussels sprouts are amazing! Boxcar has very, very good food, and I would usually avoid what appears to be a 'sports bar,' but James Beard Foundation-recognized Chef Eric Stumpf will please the foodies every time. What is nice is that Boxcar has several seating areas, so if you're into food and not the 'bar scene,' they can seat you in an area that is quiet.

After I asked for the check, the waiter offered drinks from the happy hour menu, dessert and asked me if I wanted to place an order of vegetable "something healthy" for the next day? First time that I been offer that. Would not go back again.

We're kind of snobby about our beer and every. single. beer is solid. I might not like reds that much but this is one that I'd actually drink. The Hefe is solid and delicious without the weird aftertaste and off flavors that 95% of them have. Just a clean, refreshing hefe. The DIPA is delicious and one of my faves. I still stand by that the IPAs here will stand up to any others we have around town and we have some good oens. We stopped in to watch football for a bit and the screens were plentiful, there was lots to do including darts, shuffleboard, and nearly every single game on at once. They've done a lot to the place and I really hope it sticks around - we need a place like this! Beers are super reasonably priced and they have a daily happy hour (including an all day happy hour on Monday!). This is a chill, cool place with lots of seating, lots of parking and ample food options around.
