    Classic Belgian waffle (weekends only)

Spot is a lovely neighborhood cafe and coffee house to come in, grab a drink and a bite to eat, and relax inside of by the fireplace. Service is polite and friendly, and the drink and food menus offer a variety of options for everyone in the family and even the picky eaters. I'm a sucker for an iced latte, even in cold weather, so coming inside to warm up and cozy up with an iced latte at Spot was exactly what I think of first thing in the morning. The food and drinks are not a unique, out of this world experience, however, paired together with the variety of the menu, the friendliness and promptness of the service, and the overall atmosphere of the shop, it's hard not to like it.

    Garden vegetable burger with greens
    Vicky B.

Came here on a Sunday for lunch and had a good experience. I ordered a jasmine green tea and a garden veggie burger on wheat focaccia. The burger came with a side of chips or greens (I got greens) and the burger was topped with hummus, lettuce and tomatoes. The greens were lightly dressed with oil and tasted good and fresh. My only criticism about the "burger" was that it didn't resemble a burger because the patty was pressed flat into a layer synonymous with the hummus and other toppings. Taste was good but not as flavorful as I hoped. The people I came with got pizzas and those looked amazing.

    Cinco shake

consists of Espresso & chocolate shake with whipped cream. Then a Cajun Turkey wrap with Roasted turkey, bacon, pepper-jack cheese, Cajun remoulade, mixed greens, and sliced tomato with a spinach tortilla Then the Cinco Shake consisting of Espresso, white chocolate, caramel vanilla shake with whipped cream. The Mocha shake had a strong coffee flavor and was well executed! Loved it! The Cajun Turkey wrap was so good! Bursting with flavor and spice! I really enjoyed it and got it with chips instead of a salad. The Cinco shake was the best ! Reminded me of a Frappuccino shake thing. I'll def order again when I can. Service was quick! Workers were very kind and respectful! I gave out tips since they enhanced my service and experienced. Atmosphere was comfortable tho there were quite a bit of people there. It's expected since it is a hangout and students can get work done on their computers and charge them with outlets. Will come again! Thank u! Oof forgot about the smores bar thing it's like a cereal bar thing. Its okay but not as.sweet as it looks

    Spinach and feta croissant

Stopped in today to grab a hot chai latte, a spinach and feta croissant, and to use the bathroom. The chai was hot and delicious. I love getting chai lattes from Spot. It's one of the favorite drinks on the menu. The spinach & feta croissant was pretty good but l expected it to have a bit more filling. It was nice and buttery and pretty fresh though.

Really cute place to sit down and relax in. Like many others, Bruce and I in to get some school work done and we found our time here was spent very productively. Will definitely come back again

I researched the dog policy online prior to coming and "Bring Fido" suggested one could order coffee and bring it outside to their outdoor seating. I did mobile order so I wouldn't have to wait in line with my dog. Upon entering a staff member yelled that they don't allow dogs from across the cafe. I was mortified. I told her I was just picking up a mobile order. She again yelled you can't bring your dog in the future. I always call ahead or look online to see whether places allow dogs before coming. I never would bring him to a place that wasn't dog friendly. Yelling at patrons from across the cafe (cafe was completely packed) is rude and unnecessary. It is not hard to politely tell a customer the dog policy. No need to worry about me bringing my dog in the future... we'll just take our business down the street to Spoke and Dagger. Better coffee, better ambience, and interestingly they don't berate customers with dogs.

    Pepperoni and mushroom pizza

Stopped for lunch after a movie. Some of the food choices seemed a little pricey but the pizza was good. Tasted good, was a decent size and could have fed two people, and had a good amount of toppings. Also had a cup of plain black coffee which was good without needing to add stuff to it.

There was was a sexy-ass thot Who some Yelpers thought was a bot This rumour was spread But now it is dead Because Alex L saw him at Spot Shy is what Alex is not Asked "Are you leaving Buffalo or what?" The thot was named Fox And had long, luscious locks And said "yes, I'm going somewhere hot." So once to Los Angeles he got He befriended a surfer named Scott Who said "No-one will mourn ya When you leave California Because we're all addicted to Pot" Hertel Avenue has so much great stuff but if you want to hang out and relax in a place for an extended period of time then you are definitely going to want to come here to spot some coffee at Spot Coffee. It's one of the very best locations of this popular local chain, and doesn't get too hot in the summer although AC could be better - and doesn't get too cold in the winter although heating could be better - so I recommend staying near the fire when it's really cold. Trust me you're going to want to know about that. The Caramel drink over ice or whatever it's called is actually pretty good and possibly one of the best parts of the coffee experience is all the different buffalonians including hipsters and hippies of old and pretty much all the different types of people that you would want to meet and know will be here which is pretty awesome. Like several other locations, from this Spot, I've sampled the new incarnation of the legendary Chicken Focaccia Sandwich just last week, and it is ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS. It's off the charts yum. It's tender and juicy and luscious and pesto-y as always, but now it has this lovely red sauce on it too (that tastes like the sauce from Niagara Cafe that I love so much... what if it is!?!?!?!?)... and it's just amazing. It's actually one of the best sandwiches in all of WNY. It's that. Damn. Good.

The vibe is cozy but elevated: natural light, warm tones, the kind of space where you can journal, edit photos, or have a soft life catch-up with a friend. Let's talk orders: Rose Matcha -- This is the drink. Lightly floral, perfectly balanced, not overly sweet, and somehow both calming and energizing. It feels grounding without being gimmicky. I may have even gotten my boyfriend hooked to matcha off of this drink alone Cupid's Latte -- Seasonal but unforgettable. It's sweet without being cloying and tastes like a cozy little love letter in a cup. The kind of drink that makes you romanticize your entire day. Sausage, Egg & Cheese Breakkie Sandwich -- Absolute classic done right. The sausage is flavorful, the egg is cooked perfectly, and everything melts together in that satisfying, messy-in-the-best-way breakfast sandwich experience. It hits every time. Chocolate Muffins (and baked goods in general) -- Soft, rich, bakery-level good. Not dry. Not overly sweet. Just the right indulgence to pair with coffee while pretending you're being productive. What I love most is that nothing feels mass-produced. It feels intentional. The staff is always kind and efficient, even when it's busy, and the quality is consistent. Jam Parkside isn't just a coffee shop, it's a ritual. A reset button. A soft, delicious pause in the middle of a chaotic week. If you see me there with a rose matcha and a breakfast sandwich, mind your business. I'm thriving

I tried the sausage egg and cheese breakfast sandwich but it had a really weird seasoning on it that I did not enjoy and it covered the whole egg so you couldn't take it off. The coffee was ok but tasted very fake from the caramel syrup so I didn't end up finishing it. When I went to dump out the remainder, the plastic lid sliced my thumb open so that just confirmed I will not be back. It may be a good fit for others though and the staff was very nice, the place is clean and they had plenty of indoor and outdoor seating so there are some positives.

The atmosphere was warm, inviting, and effortlessly cool, the kind of place that makes you want to linger for hours with a good book and a great cup of coffee. My fiancé and I each ordered one of their specialty coffees along with bagels, and everything was fantastic. After a less than stellar experience at Tim Hortons earlier in the trip, Seven Hearts completely redeemed our coffee expectations. It was exactly the aesthetic and experience I had been searching for. What really made it special was how quickly it felt like a place I could make part of my routine. If I lived in Buffalo, this would absolutely be my go to coffee shop. Before leaving, I picked up a couple of honey sticks and a bottle of their house made lavender syrup to bring home. Now I get to enjoy a little taste of Seven Hearts, and Buffalo, with my morning coffee for a few more days.

Upon entering, no one greeted me, and I felt rushed while looking over the menu. When I asked questions, it felt like I was inconveniencing the employee rather than being helped. I ordered the blueberry lemon bar matcha and hoped the drink would redeem the experience, but it was disappointing. The flavor combination didn't work well in a matcha drink, and it left a strange aftertaste/coating in my mouth. I also specifically requested no dairy (asked for oat milk) yet it still came topped with cold foam, which upset my stomach. It looked cute, but for nearly $9, it wasn't enjoyable. I had originally planned to order food as well, but the overall atmosphere and interaction felt so uncomfortable that I decided to just take my drink and leave.

I was thrilled to finally make to it Cafe Bewilderment for lunch yesterday. First and foremost, the Monocle Building itself is stunning with immaculate vibes. Once we found Cafe Bewilderment, I was, in fact, bewildered. It's beautiful, it's wild, and it's a place I already know I'll want to return to again and again. The setup is simple: order at the counter, grab your table marker (a very tiny tree stump - how fun is that?), and your food is brought out to you. All of the employees were friendly and the gentleman at the register helped me decide between the Lox Sandwich and the Hot Honey Burrata. He recommended the lox so I went with that. The Lox Sandwich was more of a lox toast than a sandwich, but whatever it was delicious and surprisingly filling. My mom ordered the Bewild BLT and ended up taking half of it home, so I'd say hers was also filling. To drink, I ordered a hot latte with lavender and cardamom. It was so, so good, and the presentation was chef's kiss. Honestly, though, the decor is mesmerizing. Everywhere you look there's something interesting to admire - even the bathroom. I really, really, really want to come back to try more of the menu as well as their cocktails. Something tells me Cafe Bewilderment is just as magical in the evening as it is during the day!!!
