It also doesn't smell like it was dry cleaned like the other 2 jackets. My top coat also has dog hair on it, and I don't have a dog. Did they use the spa at Petco for cleaning?! This is the first time and last time I will come here, especially after being told I can pick up on a holiday, when they were closed! What a waste of time and gas. The last few times I've had something mended, I got sticker shock when handing over my credit card, but quickly forgot about it. I just went in to have my daughter's prom dress hemmed and a taken in just a bit at the back. She charged me $118 up front. Again, sticker shock. When I looked at the receipt, one of the up charges was that she was charging me for a dress with a liner. This dress has a liner but the liner didn't need to be hemmed because it is much shorter than the rest of the dress. I went back in and asked to have the dress back and a refund. I then took it to Lily's on 4th street in San Rafael and she charged me $80 for the same adjustments to the dress and told me I didn't need to pay until I pick up. Just sayin.

When picking up the dress, the staff did let me know that there was a small stain which they couldn't get out (it was barely visible, I wouldn't have noticed if they hadn't pointed it out). I appreciated that they informed me of this, and asked for more details on the fabric composition, before attempting treatment of the stain. It was evident that the people at Montecito Cleaners are very knowledgeable and responsible with garments. I'll definitely be back the next time I need something professionally cleaned!
