    Wines, cab was excellent.

It was the combination of the great tour and then the actually very good wine that gets the 5 stars. Yianni was our tasting guide and took us on an amazing tour of the grounds, vineyard, and old house. He was so knowledgeable and just had great information to share about the winery and just wine and growing grapes in general. We had 3 different wines after the tour, and honestly I'm not usually too impressed with some of the wines from Napa, it's like $200+ a bottle and doesn't taste much different than something you'd get for under $50. The Spottswoode cab was different, yeah it's $225 but amazing character and flavor already and will just cellar beautifully I'm sure. The sauv blanc was also very impressive, not usually into oak but the small amount of oak in it really added a great character. Great winery and actually was a fan of the top cab which is rare, but this one was worth it. I put it up there with the Ridge Monte Bello from the same year and any other top can.

Over rated cabs. Just not that worthy of Napa Valley. Quality went way down since passing of Mary Novak.

It was so intimate and personable - one of the best winery tours we've had. The wines are also excellent - we were particularly stunned by the chardonnay and syrah which are wines we tend to stay away from, but Pride produced such delicious ones that we changed our minds on them! Our host, Krista, was so knowledgeable, open to repeat/answer any questions, and is so good at holding conversations! I felt so enlightened and energized because of her absolute good vibes. Krista ended up showing us a variety of different wines, but the most notable wine was the very beginning. My friends and I were limited in our wine knowledge and he admitted that he felt like all wine tastes the same. However, once we took our very first sip, the fruity, buttery notes completely changed our minds. She sets the image about drinking this near a pool and I immediately would get transported to her explanations. It was giving "Remy" from "Ratatouille" moment when you close your eyes and see/feel all the different imagery. Throughout the tour, we are educated on the fact that they have two different addresses because they are at the border of both Sonoma County and Napa! Literally best of both worlds! Afterwards, we tried multiple different wines in their caves and educated on the different notes, how to hold our wine glasses, and the importance of everything. Before this experience, I was completely unaware of what to look for, but now I feel like I have a better understanding of everything. Certain notes I didn't even expect like the peppery taste in one of the wines. It was so cool knowing that these type of caves and winery exists and I feel like our host, Krista, made our experience even BETTER. Thank you Krista for showing us around. This was completely unforgettable and I WILL BE coming again!

I am a white wine connoisseur because of my dietary restrictions with most ingredients in red wines, especially cherries and plum, that trigger my stomach pain and headaches. I have missed enjoying red wine because of this. I was hoping and praying that when my friends who are members of PEJU planned this wine tasting treat, that my stomach and head would be fine and to my surprise, my palate, tongue, stomach and heart were pleased with the Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Fifty/Fifty, and more, including reserve reds Todd served and educated us about! I have NEVER enjoyed red wines like these I tasted at PEJU. Since the time of our outstanding wine tasting experience, I have recommended and raved about Todd and PEJU winery to friends and family who appreciate and value high quality wines and winery experiences. It felt like a vacation getaway being in the tasting room building, admiring the breathtaking stained glass art, all of the art inside and the beautiful art and nature views outside. I appreciate the PEJU staff and management team who welcomed us and were kind to us all the way to the end of our wine tasting experience when we left. This is the kind of treatment that makes us want to return. Napa is a special place for friends, family, and me, and PEJU is now an indelible memory in my Napa adventures! Todd clearly enjoys his important professional position, is passionate about wine and the wine experience, and brings so much joy to customers! I can't recommend him and PEJU enough! Todd went above and beyond to give us a VIP experience and even gave me a bag full of wine corks for my art project after I told him about this and asked for some of their wine corks we saw lined up in their wine uncorking and pouring area. Thank you, Todd!
