    Nova Classic Sandwich
    Sophie S.

This place is known for its montreal style bagels, I got the nova classic bagel for 15. This bagel came toasted, because of its montreal style heratige baked in a wood oven. It was delicous The cream cheese was kind of melty and almost sauce like, and only on the bottom of the bagel, the toppings were a little bit small. the Bagel itself tasted delicous and the seeds on top of the everything had a great strong flavor.

I was here 2 days ago and made a review about the availability of bagel selections. However, I went back today, and it was AMAZING! My son got an everything bagel with cream cheese, and I got the blueberry lemon bagel with strawberry basil cream cheese, per a staff recommendation. Quick service and delicious quality! I also appreciate the response from my first review. This is an establishment I will visit should we ever have to come back to CHOP because of the customer service and food quality.

    The Philly Special

I went in and got carry out from this location. Very casual place in a college town area. The service was good, but employees were definitely distracted talking to each other. I ordered the Philly Special sandwich on a rosemary bagel. It tasted good. The bagel was a good texture. I just don't know that it was worth $13. Maybe like $8. I took off so many stars because I just don't think the price matches the value on this place.

While this is a great destination for a quick bite to eat, I would not say that this is the best bagel shop I have tried. Perks included the fast turnaround time, great outdoor seating and a good coffee selection, but I felt like the bagel left a lot to be desired.

This bagel place is okay, nothing special about it really. If you're craving a bagel in university city and stop by here, it would satisfy your craving. But if you want a decent and quality bagel with more options, I would look elsewhere. Service was good. Inside was clean.

Service was great but the bagel I received looked nothing like what was advertised on their website. I ordered the egg white sandwich with no substitutions and got the smallest amount of egg white ever.

I always stop by for a bagel when I'm in the area. They're always really friendly and have quick service. The bagels are great and the cream cheese ratio is ideal. I love sitting in the back area, with its cozy feel.

Cancelled order, which was placed a day ahead of time

This place is terribly inefficient. When we went in person, and they literally refused service because they were overwhelmed filling an online order. Okay, so we'll order online, right? Nope. Of the 3 times we tried to order online, they cancelled our orders twice without any notice or reason, and no phone call to see if a substitution could be made. Do yourself a favor and go to the one on 24th and walnut.

my everything Bagel with Maple Bacon Cream Cheese. this is a really unappetizing photo (i apologize) but i swear it was really good

at 10 am, i woke up on my friends' couch. it was easter sunday!! my friend, janel, and i plotted to set up an easter egg hunt in our friends' dorm. we planned everything out! we went to five below to buy easter egg shells, candy, and toys. on easter eve (the saturday night before easter sunday), we hung out at their dorm and claimed we were "too tired"; we would need to sleep over for the night. at 7 am, janel woke up and hid the eggs. everyone went around, searching competitively for the eggs. i went crazy!! i was determined to get the fall guys toy that was placed in the most difficult hiding spot (it was under the couch) at the end of the easter egg hunt, we all decided we were hungry. we concluded that we wanted to try out spread bagelry! spread bagelry is really nice. they had a variety of options, ranging from getting a plain bagel, to a bagel breakfast sandwich, to coffees, teas, and beverages. my friends said that a person's bagel choice says a lot about them. here were our bagel choices: i got the everything bagel with maple bacon cream cheese. it was really good. my other friend got a plain bagel with strawberry cream cheese. it was also good. the rest of my friends got the standards breakfast sandwich. they were also all good. i did not order one of the beverages, but the rest of my friends did and they all liked it. the iced coffees were pretty sweet! (which is how i like my coffee, personally). i also had a sip of the chocolate iced mocha and that was actually so good. i recommend it if you are willing to be adventurous, and you want to try something new the actual atmosphere was nice. it was pretty clean and neat. the customer service was nice as well!! they were very helpful in the ordering process. they offered suggestions and recommendations when i couldn't decide on what to order. also, they put in a lot of effort to pronounce our names correctly. it's a really dumb thing to take note of, but it was a small thing that i appreciated! overall, spread bagelry is so lit! it made our easter sunday super fun and memorable.

Canadian bagels is better than NY bagels because they are smaller and less dense/ heavy. I'm a big fan of spread bagelry sandwiches.

Love seeing a positive face in the morning! I orders a BEC on sea salt rosemary-- my goto. Bagels were out in ~5 minutes, and it was a delicious bit to eat with coffee later on. The shop here is pick-up only, and on some mornings when I've visited especially in the winter, it's kind of painful to wait inside because it started to get a bit cramped. More just a heads up but not a piece of feedback though since their lot is pretty small. If you're grabbing breakfast in the Rittenhouse area, this is nice option for you! Just know that you'll have to take it to-go and eat it elsewhere.

The everything bagel seasoning was very good but the bagel was mediocre. The bagel was loaded with strawberry cream cheese which had good flavor. The others had regular bagels and had better reviews of the bagels. A couple egg sandwiches were described as being "good" and a plain bagel with cream cheese was given similar review. I'm not sure it's the kind of bagel shop that I would go racing back to at any point but it was decent. A bright light was how good the staff was to work with in terms of being friendly while placing an order. Probably brought this review from a 3 to a 4 based upon the staff interaction.

When ordering coffee, I'll let them know what I want (drip coffee) with whatever kind of milk (with heavy oat milk enough to change colour) and sweetener (with sugar please). Then you let them know any sides you want. I may or may not be saying it a bit quickly, because I'm half awake, and running on auto pilot, because I've lived in the Northeast for so long. The absolutely delightful lady behind the counter got it all recorded, fired, and sorted as and when it was coming out of my mouth. Confirmed everything, collected my payment, and we kept it pumping. As soon as the coffee was ready, called me over to grab it, because it was chilly and rainy while we waited. When one of the items I was ordering was taking a long time, the staff let me know that the item was taking a while longer than expected to finish cooking. My food came out perfectly done. Also, when they pass you your food, they confirm how many things you're ordering to make sure you get all your stuff. This operation is efficient, fast, and friendly. It's inexpensive for what you're getting. Coffee is excellent. Bagels have that snappy exterior, and chewy insides. Hash browns are crisp and piping hot. Coffee is rich and dark.
