As a customer, I came in with the intention to have and pay for a combination meat plate. I had the opportunity or choice of two or three meat option. The bone-in meat was to come out in 20 minutes; however, I was denied the option to have my original order due to the meat not being ready. I have frequented this establishment more than other locations, I am not pleased with how I was told I had to eat what they had or nothing at all basically. Do better with your customer service!

    Dinner time, rib plate. Yummy!

Always a great time when Spring Creeks hosts our dining out Toastmasters Club. We love the private room plus being able to go through the line and get when each of us desires. For this lovely March evening, I decided on the St. Louis Rib platter with sides of Cole Slaw and potato salad. Of course, a visit to Spring Creek wouldn't be complete without those fantastic fresh cooks rolls they tempt you with. They are SO good. The "Q" was right on point, the ribs were smoked to perfection and the meat just at the point of falling off the bone. I know my dog was going to be "hog heaven" when I got home with his treats of the wonderful rib bones. Always the staff at Spring Creek is so upbeat and happy. It's a pleasure to be a regular patron of the restaurant.

Always good. Always consistent. You can always rely on this location to deliver fresh food with a super happy and helpful staff. From as soon as you walk in the door until you leave you are made to feel at home. Rolls are heavenly and desserts are necessary every time. Always happy when I visit Spring Creek!

Me and my boyfriend came to eat here because we got a coupon in the mail. I expected bad service because it was free/on sale. But it was the complete opposite. Every employee was happy and cared and the food was soooooooo good juicy tender. It was such a great place to experience. My first time here and NOT my last..!!!!! came at 7pm, not sure if that makes a difference.

    Brisket. Very fatty brisket.

Twenty years ago, Spring Creek used to be a decent BBQ place...but not anymore. The service was fine, as it is a cafeteria-style line. Everyone working there was very nice. They do come to your table with endless hot rolls, so that is a bonus. Let's get to why you go to a BBQ place - the BBQ. I had the pulled pork, and it was OK. It wasn't anything amazing, but it was edible. My parents both had the brisket, and it was so fatty that it was inedible. My mother's cuts were pure fat. We had just flown into the DFW airport and were really hungry, so we pushed through and ate what we could. We also paid for it for about two days. With all of the BBQ in Texas, find better.

Middle of the road barbecue that's not for the Texas barbecue purists.   We regularly, infrequently, come to Spring Creek Barbecue, and will likely continue doing so. The service is energetic, and they keep the large restaurant clean. The bakery employee made regular table visits offering fresh hot rolls, which is a highlight of the meal.   Now, about the barbecue. I know about half of you reading this will disagree with my opinion of this barbecue, I get it. Barbecue brings that out in us. But, that's okay....you can be wrong. Ribbing aside, this barbecue isn't custom crafted, top tier barbecue. This is chain restaurant barbecue. So, let's keep the review in its lane. My official review: It's okay for what it is.   Let's start with why we keep coming back. IT'S CHEAPISH! Download the app, and take advantage of their promotions, like the buy one get one deal. With enough points collected you'll get further discounts. There's value here.   Next, the extras are worthy of consideration. Like, the fresh hot rolls baked right in view of the diners. They will eventually make their way to your table, offered by the baker. They are complimentary, so take full advantage. If you like fried okra, order a basket when you are at the meat cutting station. They'll fry up a batch especially for you. Also, they serve sides the way I wish all of them would do. You get a plate with meat and two sides. To me, that's a meal. I don't want to be forced to order a pint of this, a quart of that. I just want a complete meal; and, you'll get exactly that at Spring Creek.   Now about the meats. The brisket and ribs are fine, nothing to get excited about. They have large smokers, and the brisket has a prominent smoke ring.  You'll also smell smokey when you leave. Like most barbecue joints, whether you get excellent cuts or if you're served dried shoe leather depends upon lots of variables. This restaurant is inconsistent. So, your experience may vary with each visit. We have consistently found good quality in their smoked chicken and their sausages. The chicken is moist and thoroughly smoked. My family always likes that the sausages aren't too spicy.  Consider both of these meats with your order.   Regarding the ambiance, I've already mentioned the restaurant is large. It can easily accommodate big group gatherings. I've also mentioned it's smokey. Country western music plays over the speakers, and there's definitely a laid-back Texas vibe going on. It can get a little noisy, but you can still hear folks at your table.   Overall, if you're a true barbecue purist, this isn't your kind of barbecue restaurant. For everyone else, you'll think it's fine. Enjoy!

We eat here about once a month and find the BBQ is very good. Plenty of very good options for sides and fresh hot yeast rolls.

Got a to-go order from them and they didn't include the extra sides I paid for. Will not be back. Expensive for the food you get.

We've been going here for years. Lately, we've noticed the ribs just don't have a good strong smoke flavor. Almost like they baked them.

I hit the drive-thru and the service was excellent. I could even understand through the speakers! Nice displays of menus and specials. Looks like they even have a Thanksgiving package (hint hint). Lots of drive-thru ambiance. I ordered the 2-meat plate (brisket and sausage), and instead of 2-sides I replaced with a loaded baked potato. When asked which sauce, my eye started twitching. I dont like pouring sauce on meat after the fact...I prefer it baked and baked in. But...I told them id take their spicy BBQ sauce on the side. So...once I got home, I tore into the potato. It was HUGE so I cut it in half. The meat did not have sauce baked and baked in, but it was good. Really good. And then I went crazy. I tasted the spicy BBQ sauce. Very good. And went crazier and poured it over the brisket, sausage, and baked potato. There was a lot of food on the plate, so I saved half for leftovers. It was really really good and I'll definitely be going back.

The food was just as delicious, was good to have some Soulman's BBQ again. Their double barrel baked potatoes with pulled pork are second to none. Got our big bottle of Soulman's BBQ sauce, we were almost out, can't have that! And of course, you can't skip the buttermilk pie. This portion is bigger than we used to get! And the pie is thicker, absolutely delicious. Sunday never tasted so good.

Really good food, and unparalleled customer service. Every time I visit Dallas, I try out one or…read moretwo new BBQ spots. This time I tried Feedstore, and wasn't disappointed. The brisket was good, and the ribs were phenomenal. But the best part was the customer service. After hearing I was from out of town, and seeing I had brisket and ribs on my plate, the guy taking my payment said I should try the sausage, so he gave me a plate of sausage on the house. Great service! Then when I was leaving, I said another thank you, and a young lady asked me if I wanted a tour of the smokers and kitchen! So cool! She, Kamy, turned out to be one of the owners. Had a great tour, met the pit boss, and when I told her how much I enjoyed the ribs, she said they make their own rub, and would I like a sample to take home? Of course I said yes, thinking she'd give me a little sample, but she brought out a big ziplock bag ... probably 2 lbs of rub. Amazing! They made such an impression, I went back for lunch the next day as Monday is the day they have burnt ends ... and their maple-chipotle sauce on them made them amazing! So ... there are a lot of great BBQ joints in Dallas, but they've definitely made me a fan! Thank you Kamy and the LaFaver family!

Great barbecue does not need sauce. I was tempted to drown the brisket in it. First time I enjoyed the sides more than the meats. Initially, I was skeptical of the pinto beans. I would have preferred a more traditional sauce, but the pinto beans was delectable. The fried sides were made to order. As a result, they were fresh and hot when they were served about 10 minutes later. After a so-so meal, I was looking forward for soft serve ice cream. Unlike other restaurants, theirs is only complimentary with a kid's meal. Otherwise, it was 50 cents. Since many diners may not carry change, there should be an option to pay at the register.
